There's nothing I'd be happier for than a Harris candidacy. She is so pathetically stupid that it is entertaining

Steve G's avatar

You’re underestimating the stupidity of the average voter.

YM's avatar

She's guaranteed the vote of every "American" who came here during Biden's term

mrdoug1's avatar

including those who've since left and those in prison.

PapayaSF's avatar

Or who don’t actually vote, but their mail-in ballots do.

Debby's avatar

Do you remember when everyone and I mean, everyone laughed so hard some probably peed their panties a little when asked if Trump could win in ‘16?

I do!! The rest is history.

My name is Carl L. McWilliams. I am a 78 year old recovering alcoholic. Except for a relapse 15 years ago, I have been sober since 1995. Accordingly, I can state unequivocally and without ambiguity, Kamala Harris is an alcoholic in denial. Furthermore, based upon my experiences, I'll bet that everyday before noon, Kamala has a glass of chardonnay or a bloody mary- to calm her down. And by 2:00pm everyday she is legally drunk and unable to lawfully drive a motor vehicle because she is impaired. And now Barack Hussein Obama has chosen her to be the next POTUS. Oh by the way: is Barack Hussein Obama gay? and; Is Michelle Obama actually a man in drag?

You must have seen a different Joe Biden from the Joe Biden I saw "campaigning" in 2020. Politics and party aside, he appeared to be mentally incompetent, and nothing in his past suggested that he was any sort of leader. I also had not forgotten about 1988, and the way he had crashed and burned when his foolish lies and plagiarism was publicized.

Again, I'm not saying this for partisan or anti-D party reasons. The guy looked like a ridiculous choice for the Ds.

I agree. He was clearly mentally compromised as of 2020. Most people, and all of the media, ignored this due to (a) rampant TDS; (b) Covid hysteria; and (c) George Floyd/ BLM hysteria.

Pat Robinson's avatar

He was chosen to to fit Obama’s narrative, that is the only requirement he has to meet.

“You aren’t black if you don’t vote for me”.

Clearly racist.

Seva's avatar

Joe spent most of the 2020 campaign napping in his basement and his dementia was obvious even then. Trump wasn’t running against Biden. He was running against the media which operates on the narrative set by the New York Times. I did happen to see a video of Jeffrey Sachs, well known, well respected, yesterday though talking about how utterly despicable it is for the NYT to be defending Fauci in spite of all the evidence of the damage he did during Covid. He also singled out the Democratic Party for their support of Fauci. That will hurt them but it could well be overshadowed by the damage done by Trump. Trump has become a global wrecking ball. Could well be the most hated man in our always online global civilization by the end of the year. Globally China is now significantly more trusted than America and that matters.

Dave Begley's avatar

The thing about Harris is that she’s too damn dumb to be President. And lazy, too.

It is obvious when she speaks that she is a dolt. The manner and substance of what she says is that of a high school kid.

Steve G's avatar

Again, don’t underestimate the stupidity of the average voter. They elected Biden.

PapayaSF's avatar

Did they really, though?

Gitch's avatar

Good point Papaya!

mrdoug1's avatar

I'd say closer to middle school.

Pat Robinson's avatar

She sounds like any first year political science student whose first major was gender studies.

Utterly useless in the real world.

That is why the DSA is taking off, shutting off the money tap to the NGO network is ending the gravey train for all these useless mouths educated in nonsense for which there is no real world use.

It’s “unfair” and I love every minute of it.

Trump isn’t going fast enough

mrdoug1's avatar

Slightly off topic but have you ever actually read Jill Biden's "doctoral thesis" for her D.Ed. (or whatever it is)? It's hilariously and (should be) embarrassignly inept. Truly at the level of a middling 7th grade female middle school student that would probably get a grade of B-. It's amazingly inept and earned her the title, "Doctor." What a crock of travesty.

Debby's avatar

Never underestimate the level of stupidity with dem voters.

Anita Kalens's avatar

I personally am not looking forward to her word vomit. She never answers questions. Just rambles on about a lot of nothing. It’s like listening to AOC and nails on a chalkboard.

Here is where Polymarket $ punters sit currently. Harris is in top 4, but behind Newsom, Jon Ossoff and Sandy Cortez:

CharP's avatar

We are so screwed as a country if she wins the Presidency! Back to PRIDE everything, boys in girls sports, open borders, DEI and gender affirming care and so and and so on. 😫

Mark Emerson's avatar

Harris can’t complete a sentence without going into an unintelligible word salad.

She is dim.

Now if the DNC wants her as their candidate she will be. She has to be competitive in the early primaries.

I don’t know but I assume the Democrats still have their voting block of super delegates hand picked by the party apparatus?

If directed they will back Harris.

I find it funny the Democrats always preaching democracy but have closed chosen primary process.

What Democrat won the Iowa primary in 2020? They never told us.

Bernie never had a chance in 2016 as the super delegates backed Clinton.

David Poe's avatar

Somehow, the Democrats don’t seem to realize that they make themselves look racist and sexist.

Peasque's avatar

Me thinks it's Bernie not Obama who now holds the power in the party..retribution is a strong motivator..the party stole his thunder in 2016 and he's propping up dsa and getting his due through young voters..so ironic given he's ancient

Debby's avatar

Bernie couldn’t win the prize at the bottom of a Cracker Jack box.

mrdoug1's avatar

I don't know. Dem voters are actually that ignorant.

Debby's avatar

Oh yes, he might win the nomination but not the general.

I’m not very good at predicting though. I just keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best!! LOL

France's avatar

No one is good at predicting. Life is consistently surprising.

France's avatar

That's your opinion, but I've seen evidence quite the contrary. At one point circa 2016 he had the highest approval rating of any national politician.

Peasque's avatar

I'm not saying he's going to win any nomination.I'm saying he's in control of the party at least the d.S.A part

Lon Hocker's avatar

I disagree. The midterms won't go well for the dems, and they will rebrand with John Fetterman.

Or at least that's what I hope

Pat Robinson's avatar

Isn’t it strange that the one sensible Democrat is the one with actual brain damage?

He will never get the support of a majority as they are truly 🦇💩 crazy.

Lon Hocker's avatar

He says that wants to stay a dem, and he's now wearing a coat and tie. Something's up.

DarkSkyBest's avatar

He will be primaried next time. And the DSA group will be dedicated to defeating him. His Israel stance is their inspiration.

PapayaSF's avatar

I agree the Dems will lose the midterms, but I don’t see them rebranding. If they try, their woke/DSA/BLM/trans wing will revolt. They’re well and truly stuck.

Debby's avatar

Perhaps, but I don’t see Fetterman wanting the position. He has more power in what he’s doing now!! When it comes down to it, both sides watch to see which way he’s going to vote on key issues. Time will tell!

Jan Shaw's avatar

Me too -- He's actually authentic as opposed to almost the entire Democratic party these days..

Roger Beal's avatar

" ... What we saw them do in 2020 to fix past mistakes" includes election fraud, mail-in ballots counted for a week after the election, registration of non-citizens and the deceased, late night discoveries of truckloads of ballots, etc etc etc.

AJ Favorite's avatar

Am I wrong is assuming most of this crazy white lady race obsession is just tribal signaling? And they don't really believe this stuff? I'm sure some ARE actively insane. But it can't be all of them? Can it?

mrdoug1's avatar

I think it's mostly indoctrination and insanity.

Alan H's avatar

I agree it will be Harris, but for somewhat different reasons. We still don’t really know who was making the Presidential decisions under the last administration. We obviously know who WASN’T making those decisions - namely, Biden. Maybe Obama was the puppet master, maybe someone else, maybe a committee. But whoever it was still wields incredible power in the Democratic Party elite (the fact that we still don’t know who he/they are is one measure of their continuing power), and we should obviously assume he/they want to run the country again. So he/they want a 2028 candidate they can firmly control if elected, just like shit for brains Joe. Harris fits that bill better than anyone in the field. This is why Newsom doesn’t really have a chance. He is too risky - he might make decisions for himself if he winds up president. Harris’s vacuity is one of her main selling points as the establishment choice for 2028. If this is correct, we will see more and more hit pieces against her competitors. (Looking at you, Vanity Fair!)

Biden, with help, decided what color the copy paper would be, everything else was Obama, Schumer, & Pelosi. Now they are severely threatened by DSA who are tired of being told to shut up and obey. The 2024 coup was the last straw for the base.

Mark W's avatar

I'm surprised you think Obama supports her. If I recall he delayed backing her after the disasterous Biden debate for a couple weeks. Only then, it seemed to me, the Obamas threw their support behind Kamala because she had positioned herself as the only choice that late in the election.

I predict another chaotic primary for the DNC and the big question will be if the DSA candidates can force their favorite past the superdelegate votes.

SASHA - "I’ve been predicting the Oscars for 26 years, and presidential elections for about ten. It turns out, they’re not that different. Both require anticipating what a consensus will do. Both are driven by money, by perception, and by charisma."

Yes. Consensus is tribe-first (dysrational). Financial success can be achieved through obedience to the tribe.

However, MAGA is truth-first (rational). Merit is how truth-first folks measure success. Civilization (favoring the individual) is achieved this way.

People have to decide. Merit is lonelier, but far more spiritually rewarding.

Sasha is merit.

Pat Robinson's avatar

I think the Kamala undefeated election streak until 2024 is explained by the fact that all those wins were in Cali especially the Bay Area, so she was running among people that are possibly even stupider than her.

First time out of Cali, crushed.

So yes, I think she would be great.

Unwoke in Idaho's avatar

Or she was chosen like Willie Brown for her first run. And then likely for the rest.

Republicans may lose in November but there is no way the country would vote for Horizontal Harris as President

mrdoug1's avatar

She wasn't that far from winning in 2024, so watch out. We have massive numbers of moronic, ignorant voters in this country.

JJoshua's avatar

True. And we also have rampant Democrat VOTER FRAUD

mrdoug1's avatar

Which will not be fixed by 2028, if ever.

JJoshua's avatar

Correct, sadly.

Debby's avatar

😁😂😂😂👍

Ms. Harris has a likability problem — and also, these days, Barack Obama is increasingly a spent force. I’m not sure who will be there to stand up for Democrat Party ideals because of the current state of their slovenliness.
