Yes, and the thing is another incredible movie that makes Disney movies today. Look like a clown show.

Disney could spend $300 million on some joke of a movie and it never even comes close to a movie that was made in the early 80s for probably 1,000,000 -1,500,000 million

Which granted today would probably be 8 or 10 million but nothing like the woke clowns at Disney can even try to make that compares to Halloween.

Kurt Russell was one of my favorite actors. Escape from New York and the name snake pliskin might be the greatest character name that I can remember.

You have a good day

I just saw your name here. Just checking. Is this the table game or a play on Waterboy? :-)

That’s an excellent question, It’s the table game.

Maybe I should show a picture of it in my Moniker.😎. Either way, thank you for asking.

You bet. Just saw it and love Kathy’s drawl when she says. Brought a smile to my face. So thank you.

I know I’m going to be giving away my age, but I was in high school when Halloween came out/

My cousin who is two years older than me was able to get me into the theater and I’m telling you to this day the beginning of that movie with the music and the jack-o’-lantern getting bigger and bigger and bigger is still is a vivid memory for me.

They say that movie was done on the cheap, and they basically used a hockey mask and disfigured it but to this day its still in the top 5 of the greatest horror films I’ve ever seen.

I just can't get into movies or TV shows anymore. As I get older I find it more and more difficult to fall into the "suspension of disbelief."

Truth be told...I just don't like the algorithms anymore.

keep seeing FBI/NCIS shows that feature white middle age "domestic terrorists"

while here in real life, far-left Antifa and wannabees keep trying to kill prominent people and law enforcement.

I remember as an 11 yr old walking into our local stationary store and picking up John Carpenter’s paperback adaptation of Halloween off the twirling, squeaky metal rack and laying it on the counter and was going to pay for it with my paper route money. The owner of the store wouldn’t sell it to me because she thought it was too violent for someone my age. I’d already seen the movie. So I left empty handed only to come back and do what I had to do…steal it. I’m fairly certain I’m way past the statute of limitations on this confession.

John Carpenter's "Escape from New York" & "The Thing". Are my favorite 😍 all time movies 💯 🎬.

You're making me want to watch some of these old movies. I haven't seen any of them, had pretty much turned my back on horror genre after I got over being scared of the dark throughout my childhood (Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, Hitchcock, Night of the Living Dead, Mothra, etc.). Re. current Hollywood: watched The Last Showgirl while on a flight. Jamie Lee Curtis showed some acting prowess,as an aged out showgirl. Far cry from The Thing!

I watched The Thing not very long ago. It was enjoyable. I saw it once many years ago. It still holds up.

Halloween is the greatest horror film ever. Will never be topped. This was a fun watch, thank you

I love this movie! It's one of my "go-to" films every Halloween (the other being the original "Fright Night")!
