“The New York Times not only missed the story of Biden’s cognitive decline”…

They didn’t MISS anything. They worked deliberately to cover for him and his administration, and shamelessly disparage and mock anyone and everyone who even attempted to point it out.

As for the Russia plot, one outlet yesterday claimed that all the newly released documents were created by Russia! I mean, good God help us!

Just wait til they find out Epstein was inextricably linked to the Clinton Foundation! Always follow the money.

It’s all blowing up in their faces, the Dems, the media, all their globalist cronies.

Sad part is, I’ll betcha no one goes to jail for any of it.

Sasha, 5:30pm PST Friday and Bari Weiss & The Free Press still have not covered this story, either. TFP used to be my go to each AM to ‘get both sides’. But not any longer. I think when the ‘Toadie’ (what Bari called Tulsi Gabbard) is behind the drip, drip, drip of the Russiagate story, and Nellie’s lifelong love affair with Hillary - prevents TFP from doing any real journalism on this important subject.

So true

I dropped my subscription to TFP— it’s become the NYT

And as soon as the NYT subscription runs out, it’s going away

Like Sasha I keep hoping for better but it’s just not happening

I don’t know how this ends

And she’s right they don’t know how to talk to people. They have absolutely no interest in serving the truth. They only serve the people in their bubble who they know are their loyal subscribers, and I’m done.

A tweet from Bari:

Bari Weiss

“Many of the senior officials in Trump’s own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations. I would know. I am one of them.”

- Bari Weiss 3:49 pm 05 Sep. 18

I should cancel my fp subscription as well but am still seeing signs of the Turn.

Weiss is seriously corrupted by her politics. She has been the whole time she has been a journalist. She has spent several years sneering and deriding the disillusioned faction of the Democrat party and utterly hates conservatism. People are just fooled by her because she couldn't stand by and watch WaPo turn into a an LGBTQ intersectional kindergarten. But that doesn't make her an honorable journalist, only one with a veneer of principles. Her position on the Gabbard Harris dust-up and subsequent dismissal of Gabbard as a person was a perfect example of my point.

Yes, it’s that veneer that bugs me. And why I won’t re up my subscription when it runs out. If Bari sells to Skydance (CBS parent company) I’ll not give them another click. That seems to be in the works now:

Seriously? I didn't know that, but I also don't read NYT and am woefully uninformed in the Sky dance buyout beyond that it all makes Trump look the egotist that he is. Fortunately, his massive ego seems to be matched by an actual interest in the country thriving which is a hell of a kit better than any President I can remember. Even Reagan was puppetre by his intelligence services.

The New York Times credibility has descended from merely being partisan to full blown yellow journalism. For example:

The NYT frequently used phrases like “people familiar with the matter” in its Russiagate stories, appearing over 1,000 times between 2016 and 2021. Critics, including former NYT reporter Jeff Gerth, argued this vagueness obscured potential biases in sourcing, a hallmark of yellow journalism’s lack of transparency.

NYT’s Russiagate coverage aligns with yellow journalism in several ways:

Sensational Headlines: Articles like “Trump Campaign Aides Had Repeated Contacts With Russian Intelligence” used dramatic language to imply wrongdoing, even when evidence was thin.

Exaggerated Narratives: The paper’s portrayal of the Steele dossier and unverified claims as credible fueled a narrative of conspiracy, similar to Hearst’s exaggerated Spanish-American War stories.

Bias and Agenda: The NYT’s focus on anti-Trump narratives, as admitted by Baquet, mirrors the partisan slant of 19th-century yellow journalism, where papers pushed political agendas (e.g., Hearst’s anti-Spanish stance).

Lack of Accountability: The refusal to fully retract or reflect on discredited stories parallels historical yellow journalism’s tendency to prioritize circulation over truth.

Eventually, even those that live in the "bubble" will recognize the yellow journalism for what it is - Sensational lying that tries to destroy political opponents!

Having sensational titles goes as far back as the first newspaper. On the Internet, it's called "click bait". The purpose of the sensationalized title is to get us to read articles.

There was a newspaper that decided to print only feel good articles. After a month, it lost so many subscribers that they thought they would have to close. They decided to go back using sensationalized heading and articles. Their newspaper began to flourish again.

For our MSM to ever be trusted again they would have to admit the truth and come clean. They would have to show remorse and shame. Without that we will NEVER trust them again.

I had to look Holomodor up (Good example)-

The Holodomor was a deliberate famine-genocide in Ukraine, killing millions under Stalin’s policies. The NYT’s coverage, led by Walter Duranty, downplayed the crisis, echoing yellow journalism’s bias and manipulation, much like critiques of its Russiagate reporting for exaggerating unverified claims. Both cases highlight how media can shape narratives at the expense of truth, eroding trust.

But unfortunately, most of my family and friends are lefties who have little time for rational discussions about important matters. It's ad hominem, appeal to authority, blind adoration, false assumption, and pea brain explanations of the world.

It would be lovely to magic into existence a purely liberal state for them all to live in and then watch them leave it like rats fleeing a sinking ship under stupid pretenses rather than the obvious truth - progressivism and dogmatic atheism together make a giant bag of shit that nobody really wants.

That story from the NYT is so outrageous! That they would use the unfortunate circumstances of that mother and her son's medical condition as fodder for their inflammatory agenda of "starvation and genocide" is truly preditory and perverted. The cropping out of the healthy son only reinforces the deception. Unwittingly, what they managed to accomplish is the complete undermining of the "starvation" talking point. Supposedly "20,000" starving childern and the story they ran had absolutely nothing to do with "starvation". And their completely lame "correction" was as vile as the manipulated story itself. Only fools would continue to read a paper that still proves itself to be propagandized trash.

Turley's piece seems to say that even more evidence will be coming out that that foreign sources knew of the plan, above and beyond the classified annex which came out this week. He writes:

"Reports indicate that the CIA is about to declassify material showing that foreign sources were also in on the trick. The information reportedly indicates that foreign sources were aware of the move to create a Russian collusion scandal and expected that the FBI would play a role in the plan. "

They'll beat the Epstein story to death to keep our eyes off Hillary and Barry, the DOJ, the FBI, and the corrupt intelligence services. If they had anything on Trump in the Epstein files, wouldn't it seem they'd use it? They threw everything including the kitchen sink, they wouldn't have withheld sex crimes if they had them.

Yesterday they printed an article about a taco shop in California. Do New Yorkers, or Memphians like me for that matter, intend to travel LA to try a recommended taco? Please. The list of NYT dishonesty, misdirection and political bias is long. Just this week, the NYT used a cropped photo of a Gazan child with debilitating muscular dystrophy and claimed he was suffering from malnutrition to reinforce their false narrative about Palestinian "starvation."

To bolster their report, the NYT relies on a terrorist death cult, Hamas, and a collection of corrupt NGOs as their sole information sources. They tap into an avid readership of delusional true believers to pay the bills.

In news story after news story, the NYT’s arrogant disregard for the truth is obvious. Now a garbage publication, the NYT is dishonest and untrustworthy. It has become a bad leftist joke.
