I believe that California, possibly NY State and Washington State have passed laws stating that their Child Protective Services equivalent agencies can take teenagers out of the home of parents who deny the children "gender-affirming care". We all know that kids as young as 12 can have discussions with their doctors that are confidential and shielded from parents. So it's not a stretch too far to believe that the doctors in NY State determine that Fox Varian "NEEDED" the surgery and that the parents were hamstrung from opposing it.
All the parents will claim they were pushed by doctors. How else to assuage their guilty consciences and, coincidentally, support litigation as plaintiffs.

I've met and talked to many parents of "Trans" kids. Some are bullied and scared because they are told that their kids will commit suicide, self-harm, or psychological destruction. Many others are happy to use their children as accessories that prove their "street-cred" as woke, progressive giants. The parents who want to help their children through the difficulty of gender dysphoria are locked out because their children are told not to trust them. I'm a HS teacher, and I've seen all of these scenarios so many times. School employees lie to parents and tell teachers and students to lie to parents.

Monetary compensation is insufficient for justice to be served. Anyone in the chain of responsibility should be punished by forfeiture of license to practice at a minimum. Any professionals without a license such as school counselors should be fired. Anyone even tangentially involved with this should also be sued, eg., hospital boards, hospital executives, members of medical ethics departments, and most of all professional organizations which provided the "standard of care" cover necessary to promote this abomination, eg., American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, American Academy of Pediatrics, and chiefly WPATH.

However, they "Cover it" by twisting themselves into knots trying to discredit the way the story was reported by the "non-legacy" media. Examples - the Mueller report (we all know what it said; MSM pivots to "all the Russian contacts" and "ten examples that COULD be Obstruction of Justice"), the 2020 Georgia ballots that were improperly certified (MSM still sticks with "most free and fair election in history"), the "Russiagate" emails released by current DOJ implicating Obama, Clapper, Brennan and Comey in perpetuation disinformation damaging to Trump, etc. etc. etc. You really can live in this country and get two polar opposite versions of the same story.
As a retired plastic surgeon, I am grateful that my society was finally able to shake off the woke bindings and stop the madness. I'm in medicine and I did med school rotations 2011-2013. I remember most surgeons were conservative, primary care were extremely liberal. I don't know if it's changed that much in the past 10 years but at least back then, every surgeon I met was conservative and voted GOP. I was an Obama voter back then and they all made fun of me (now I'm a Trump X 3 voter). Fox News always played in the surgeons' lounge.
