"Not even President Barack Obama himself could set the tone for these people..."

Because he had already set the tone nearly two decades ago. The hate which is currently ripping America apart all stems back to this duplicitous, racist non-profit prophet and his ruinous reign. He and he alone ignited the race and class wars which were designed to keep the proles at one other's throats so that he and the elitists who funded him can rape and pillage our nation unnoticed. Then surrender what is left to the death cult which is Islam as they summer on the Vineyard.

9/10 was merely a turning to the next phase.

Voddie Baucham wrote a book called "Fault Lines" which was a warning to the church about critical race theory. In its early pages, he shared his recognition in 2008 that Barak Obama was a Marxist. Not having much understanding of the insidious nature of Marxist ideology, nor having paid much attention to politics, I did not see that at the time. Looking back at his policies and rhetoric, it makes sense. One thing I did pick up about him was his elitist attitude. He seemed to look down his nose at the unwashed masses. I have seen a number of people confess on X that they regret voting for him. I really hope more people are red-pilled by the tsunami of hate being directed at Charlie. We cannot survive as a country if our media elites continue to demonize half the country. The Democratic Party needs to shrivel up and die.

Similar story. I voted for BO in 2008. That fall I overheard two older men on the train calling the Obamas Marxists. I silently scoffed, thinking that they were the types who equate any liberal with a Marxist.

It was only towards the tail end of and after BO's presidency that my eyes were opened to the fact that they'd been right.

Insidious is the perfect word for it.

And I still failed to see it even after I'd read Dreams From My Father, his memoir (seriously, anybody who is still in denial about him needs to read it). Even after it left me with the uneasy feeling that this guy really doesn't think much of people who look like me.

Elitist is the perfect word. Remember the "clinging to guns and religion" thing? I let that slide too. I let a lot of stuff slide. Never again.

Obama and I grew up on Oahu about 10 years apart. As a Haole (white) it could be a drag because of all the negativity that was directed toward my skin color by locals. I read his book many years later and was surprised that he wrote that he secretly enjoyed all the hatred directed at whites while he was growing up. I thought it strange and also sad that this very intelligent man who very likely never had a white person on the the island treat him bad could think that way and not self reflect about that mindset. I could tell he was fine with it as if the white children growing up there (it wasn't the adults) somehow deserved the bigotry directed at them. I still voted for him because I hoped that maybe he would change and work for everyone but I was wrong. He was a narcissist when he wrote the book and is still a sick bitter narcissist.

That's why the white celebrities drooling all over him make me sick.

It's especially ironic when you consider he was raised by white people, his mother and mostly his maternal grandparents. His black father abandoned him. He was very lucky that in that era, the 1960s, he had grandparents who were that open-minded.

Nowhere in the book do I recall an expression of gratitude for the grandparents. He seemed to resent them like he resents all white people.

I have seen a lot of people cite his time in Indonesia as a kid when his mother remarried, and how that helped shape him into a Marxist. Oh yeah, he's Marxist with a capital M.

I have watched reports on how the number of electors registering as "Republicans" for the purpose of voting in primaries has increased, while the number of Registered Democrats is declining. Maybe this process will get a bit of rocket fuel added to it now. It is something people can do quietly and privately without saying anything to anyone right now that might risk them being cancelled by their so-called "friends". When does free speech (or listening to free speech) become hate? I think that man should be picked up and jailed and possibly prosecuted.

Expand full comment
Dagny Taggart's avatar

Then you are doing just what the left does…..

Free speech becomes a crime only when it turns into physical aggression.

No matter how despicable a person’s speech or auto-actions, we must allow it. But when the speaker shoves another, or grabs a sign away, then it’s violence that is actionable.

Let’s not become what they are, or all is lost.

Who is John Galt?

Expand full comment
Johnathan Galt's avatar

False. Free speech is never free - and when it solicits violence it is not simply free speech anymore.

The answer, per usual, is already in our Constitution. Both Insurrection and intentionally violating our GUARANTEED Constitutional right to be "free from domestic violence" are, as practiced by Demunists, capital crimes already on the books. Trump's DoJ needs to start escalating the response. Only when some of these malicious maggots are facing the possibility of having their necks stretched will this nonsense stop.

Oh, you were looking for me?

Expand full comment
Brian M's avatar

I agree... speech that incites violence against others is not free to be spoken. Never has been. Insurrection, Treason, Conspiracy to commit crimes, these are verbal acts that are punishable by incarceration or death already in the American legal code. Physical violence is not required, just exhorting others to commit that violence is adequate.

Expand full comment
CynthiaS's avatar

What much of the left - their media, for sure - has been doing is stochastic terrorism, which stops just short of inciting violence. Incitement is illegal and stochastic terrorizing doesn’t quite meet the definition so it’s still free speech. (Although I think it’s awful.)

There are a lot of hate crimes on the books, even in the Constitution. Your absolutism is wrong

There is actually no need for us to resort to violence. Just uphold our laws and Constitution.

Article IV Section 4 contains our Constitution's one and only guarantee - including a RIGHT to be kept "free from domestic violence" (rampant crime). It also contains provisions for open insurrection. Both of these are being practiced daily by Democrats; both are addressed by capital statutes.

Start dragging in the leaders of the insurrection. Whether or not they get the rope is irrelevant - when they see a few of their own sitting in the witness chair with the possibility of having their necks stretched, their behavior will suddenly disappear. Nothing else short of another shooting Civil War will have that effect.

WE have the Constitution and the law on our side. Use them as our founders intended!

More to Sasha's point, the once unified Democrat party has split into two. Bifurcated. Or bipolar, perhaps.

One half seeks absolute power (as Democrats always have) and will stop at nothing to achieve it. These are the servants of the elite hoping that enough servitude will grant them access to the elite circles, and good luck with that. They derive this power through playing (preying?) upon both the emotion and envy they can stir out of the unwashed masses. "You are a victim" and entitled to "Free stuff!" is a powerful lure.

The other half, made up of mostly the children of elites, nepo babies and such, along with the Truly, Madly, Deeply mentally ill seek only a nihilistic, orderless, classless, genderless dystopia. They seek not to rule but to simply burn it all down. Think Heath Ledger's Joker from The Dark Night and Alfred the butler's dissection: "Some people just want to watch the world burn."

And then we have the MSM.

The reported messages on the casings could be part of the incitement. Really though, I have no idea at this point.

A professional hit, or the work of an Antifa cell. Why has Antifa not been designated an illegal terrorist organization? That's what they are!

I agree, Andrew. You're onto something! The shooter is probably the same professional hired to shoot DJT. Hence, he'll never be found. Probably hiding in plain sight at the CIA headquarters.

Thankfully they've arrested him. Now may be the time to resurrect 'burning at the stake'.

They've arrested someone. But I don't believe it's the real shooter. Just someone to assuage the thirst of the public for a culprit.

He's the Oswald of our time.

The guy they claim did it may not be the one. He may think he did it, because they put a gun in his hand. But he is now enjoying the Luigi Mangione level of admiration and his feeble mind needs that external validation. Perhaps as he heads to death row in Utah he'll have other ideas. I, too believe this was a professional hit. They just scapegoated some stupid youngster who may have been willing, but wasn't that talented...

Can you tell from the video if the guy running away is carrying a rifle? You can't shove a bolt action rifle down your pants and run. Is it just me or does the perp look like Beto O'Rourke?

Charlie’s assassination on top of the murder of the young woman on the train which the left tried to ignore shows pretty clearly that we’ve passed the point of no return.

Megyn says we should all watch the video of the reaction of the young woman stabbed on the train. I agree. There’s a look of horror on her face as she looks up at the black man who stabbed her, then she realizes she’s been badly injured, then slides off the seat to the floor and dies. The other video shows this plus audio of the man saying “She called me a n**ger.” She obviously didn’t. He picked up that idea from the democrats who often claim an attack on a white person by a black is most likely due to being called a n**ger. Democrats are evil and insane.

I won't watch this one, either.

I saw the Challenger explode.

I saw the second plane hit the towers, and people leaping to their deaths, and then the towers coming down.

I don't see the need to watch people die. I saw my husband thrashing around in the hospital bed as he was dying.

I can't forget.

I believe that watching killings makes us less sensitive to violence, and death, gives us a type of PTSD.

“I don't see the need to watch people die.“

Megyn’s not a ghoul who likes to watch people die. She explains why we should all watch this. You simply don’t understand how disastrous this is for our society. That’s what she wants people to understand.

“ What I am doing is cautioning people about desensitiving ourselves and our progeny to violence.”

That’s precisely the problem. Megyn is saying we should start paying attention to black on white violence which is common in cities like Chicago where I live but always automatically brushed off as ordinary street crime due to the media’s narrative that only white people can be racist. I’ve read of other black on white attacks even in downtown Chicago in broad daylight which were quickly memory holed because they did not fit the left’s narrative on race. Megyn is saying this has to stop and that is why we should all watch this video.

We all need to pay attention to our primitive danger warning mechanisms. Be aware of your surroundings and don't put yourself in bad places at wrong times. If you get that feeling, don't ignore it. If someone gets in your space, be ready, don't ignore it. No matter what color or nationality they are.

I can easily think of 3 black attacks on white women, 2 in downtown Chicago in broad daylight, which were just as bad but there was no video so the media was easily able to brush them off as just unfortunate street crimes and then memory hole them. One was an airline stewardess talking to a friend downtown a couple of years ago at Christmas time. A homeless black man had taken a 3’ log from a Christmas display and he hurled it the young woman like a spear. Knocked her out, she collapsed on the sidewalk hitting her head and causing even more damage. She ended up in a coma in ER with brain damage. Whatever happened to her? We’ll never know. All we can be sure of is that it ruined her life. The left does not care about people like her though. They only care about narrative which they use to promote white guilt to gain support for things like reparations and equity, race based equal outcomes. The left is evil.

The left doesn’t care about people as individuals. The left is focused on the collective. A single victim does not receive consideration. Collectivism is slavery.

The left also worships Equity aka race based Equal Outcomes. The left is possessed by the irrational and is quite insane.

“Editor’s Note: America is at war. This is not a traditional war, fought on a battlefield against an external enemy. It is a civilizational conflict against an internal enemy: the group quota regime, a revolutionary threat that seeks to reorganize American society around the principle of outcome equality — what the regime’s partisans call “equity.”

“This cold civil war may go unnoticed by many day-to-day, but its stakes are often as high as life and death. Here, Roger B. Cohen, a celebrated oncologist and professor in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, explains how the group quota regime has taken hold of the American medical education system and asks urgent questions about the consequences for medicine, for the sick, and for the country.”

"Not even President Barack Obama himself could set the tone for these people"... Obama was warned very early in his Presidency that playing ID politics and using historical grievances to pit groups against each other was fracturing the country and would lead to very negative outcomes, even Civil War. Ironic that he has now lost control of the Frankenstein he created.
