Some of the Jewish faith don’t write out the name ‘God’ out of profound reverence to our Creator. As a Christian I find it a bit silly but also harmless. It’s a Jewish law rooted in OT Deuteronomy 12:3-4 which instructs to not desecrate sacred texts.
