Lol. I’m a 71 year old man. Why do you think i go to the gym 6 days a week.

Peppe le poo's avatar

Good for you! Important to maintain physical and mental prowess!

Peppe le poo's avatar

Yes! And hearing, although often I mind less when I can’t hear ‘certain’ things.

thomas Dreyer's avatar

That’s why i want it to be my first sense to fail

Owain Glyndŵr's avatar

I was looking for a good rationale to return to the gym. I think you just articulated that rationale.

In my enfeeble state I sometimes can’t find the mirror. Lol i need to get one of those handicap things for my rear view mirror. That way if i get busted i can show them proof of my disability

thomas Dreyer's avatar

It is important to keep in shape

What will these people do when Trump is gone? Every moment of their lives is dominated by him and anything even remotely associated with him. I miss when SNL was funny. I miss the world before it became woke.

Skenny's avatar

When he's gone, look for increases in:

1- psychiatric admissions

2- psychotropic prescriptions

3- suicides

Richard's avatar

I expect him to get the Cromwell treatment. When the royals got back in power, they dug up has body, beheaded it, did the draw and quarter and hung the bones in a cage. His entrails were no longer available for abuse so they had to forgo that.

These people have already found their new hatred: Jews. Antisemitism will go mainstream on the left in 2 years: call it JDS.

John's avatar

2 years? It pretty much already is.

Susan Sulisz's avatar

They’ll just transfer their focus to a new object of derangement - Vance, maybe, or Rubio or some other Republican. They’re not happy unless they’re deranged about something.

Elizabeth Tilton's avatar

He should have used the word "slut." It makes more of an impact.

Laura Goodwin's avatar

Throwback, too. I think it was Dan Aykroyd who used to say to Jane Curtin on SNL, "Jane, you ignorant slut."

Steenroid's avatar

That was a funny skit. Jane would lay into him then Dan would ….

New Scott's avatar

That was pretty risqué when we were 16

TWC's avatar

Also more accurate.

Women dress provocatively to get attention, yes. To be fair, so do some men.

If that attention comes from a hot guy it's considered validation. If coming from a not-so-hot guy, it's considered sexual assault.

Carrie Crockett's avatar

Any woman who wants attention should know how to handle it from a not-so-hot guy. She has the upper hand. My grandmother taught me this stuff when I was a kid. I am teaching it to my kid. Nobody else seems to be doing so. They get their entire knowledge of how to relate to the opposite sex or in the real world generally from social media.

Owain Glyndŵr's avatar

Would help maybe if more of us had been Southern born and bred and of a certain age.

Carrie Crockett's avatar

I was gonna add, my grandmother explicitly used the word "belle" when she was teaching me how to conduct myself, and I'm under 55. You're right. It's historically a part of my culture, and many younger women aren't learning it even in the South. Knowing how to use charm as soft power is a skill everyone should have, frankly. It would work for men, too, in a different sort of way. "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" may not be a saying all over the world, but it's a basic truth all over the world. Now, you also have to know when to get the fly swatter or the Raid out.

JVC's avatar

I need to get out more--people actually still watch SNL???

Carrie Crockett's avatar

Occasionally, as Shane Gillis demonstrated, SNL still gets it absolutely right. They're willing to let him have a platform even though probably most of their content is raging biased.

Can someone please tell the lunatic left to shut the fuck up. Enough already with your educated retarded response to everything that doesn’t fit your agenda. Stop the lecture it’s been forever now. High School is over. You don’t know the American public, but are stuck in your head with insane nonsense. A whore in a gym joke is upsetting y’all and at the same time you love drag queens in elementary school libraries. Your hypocrisy is astounding. Stop the lectures, we don’t give a damn.

Thom Foolery's avatar

Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.

This whole controversy is going to help Republicans in the midterms - it just reminds everyone what it's going to be like if the dems are in charge again.

I coincidentally saw this on Ben Shapiro's YouTube podcast just now. It reminded me of when I went to look at condos with my brother-in-law. The building he bought the condos in had a gym, where they hired a couple girls to work out in skimpy clothes. I assume that's what it was, because I saw them there all the time when they were showing condos. It closed the sale for my brother-in-law, a divorced guy in his 50s.

I can't imagine living a life with no sense of humor and just frothing at the mouth over any and every little thing that might trigger you...

Lefties are emotional creatures with no impulse control, i.e., toddlers.

Also on jogs. But I do not get it. Chicks that dress with a little more class are so much more...attractive...desirable...je ne sais pas, than those who do not? If you are running in your bra and panties, it's not as much as a turn on as it is if you run in feminine shorts (still short!), cute socks, and a camisole that isn't painted on. Add a cute ballcap with a pony tail streaming behind and you've got it.

Like rape,it's not about sex

Its about power

Those women in the gym video are bizarre. Who wants a derrière that big and sloppy and bouncy? I guess there’s so much artificial filler that it can’t be firm. Yikes and ick.

I guess I don’t go to a gym with people like that. Mostly it’s like me, a t shirt and joggers or something like that. There are a few younger women that wear tiny figure hugging shorts and tops but I think they do that to show off all their tattoos, which quite frankly just look dirty.

Men should never wear tank tops in any public setting, but again it’s because they have to show the tattoos, which also look dirty.

And SNL hasn’t been funny since Chris Katan did the lounge singer with Fred Arnesen on drums.

Carrie Crockett's avatar

I thought Shane was hilarious.

Peppe le poo's avatar

Trump is also funny - 'She, I guess, dated my son a long time ago,' Trump said dismissively today.

Suzie's avatar

That was it??! That’s what their whole firestorm is about??! OMG people really and truly need to get a life - and the stay the heck off social media! 🤦‍♀️

“The reason the Left has lost their collective minds is that they don’t even know what comedy is anymore. To them, laughing just means making fun of Trump and MAGA. On repeat.” Pathetically accurate.

clem h fandango's avatar

Funny, I saw the monologue and I thought everyone was going to lose their minds about the last line which I thought was brilliant:

"That's it, you're either gay or you're hitler, and isn't that where we're at as a country."

I'm honestly shocked this isn't what did him in.

Besides, he didn't say the women WERE whores, just that they dressed like them.

Carrie Crockett's avatar

That line about you're gay or you're Hitler is exactly the zeitgeist right now, I've noticed around me. It boils down the state of the union for some people in 2026. I actually find it liberating to be able to dress like a whore if I want to. I find it pro-woman. I do it more now than I used to, and in my 50s, too! With taste and making sure everything looks good, but more risqué in my choices, shall we say.
