Elon Musk has been doing great, but something strange is going on with X (Twitter).

Tick off the wrong leftist and you mysteriously end up getting an 'automation' ban for a few hours.

Post too many links, and you get shadow banned.

Always remember that Violent Leftists AREN'T Liberals – they have NO interest in liberty or Free Speech.

williamj's avatar

Absent real evidence to the contrary it is far more likely that whatever is causing Sasha's difficulties has nothing to do with her ticking off the wrong leftist and much more to do with X's error prone site security efforts.

D Parker's avatar

That's entirely possible, but that doesn't matter to Sasha and everyone else.

It could be partially because they rely on automation instead of people, or it could be a case of Twitter having it's own version of the Deep state.

This has to be fixed, no matter the cause and it has to be done before it's too late.

Juju's avatar

Twitter has its own Deep State. Nailed it!!!

williamj's avatar

Thank you for agreeing with me. Please note that by doing so you concede that you lack sufficient evidence to ascribe Sasha's difficulties to her having ticked off the wrong leftist.

David White's avatar

So "possible" = "conceding"? Who knew?

D Parker's avatar

It seems that 'williamj' would like to take advantage of civil debate in order to twist words into ridiculous strawman arguments to make it appear that people agree with whatever is being asseverated.

David White's avatar

Is it a coincidence that our dearly beloved site-owner started having problems just when "williamj" re-appeared?

D Parker's avatar

williamj

Thank you for agreeing with me. Please note that by doing so you concede that you lack sufficient evidence to ascribe Sasha's difficulties to her having ticked off the wrong leftist.

"Thank you for agreeing with me."

Where did I say that? Those exact words.

I must presume that you are one of our resident Violent Leftists that cannot deal in civil debate without twisting words about.

All anyone has to do is to think back to a recent experience with customer service that went horribly wrong. We have LLMs that can successfully pass bar exams, yet the average customer service interaction still feels like a strange mix of Franz Kafka and Mr. Bean.

Kurt's avatar

Kafka and Mr Bean, the duo for our age! You are so right. LOL!

williamj's avatar

Epaminodas,

I agree. It is why I was bothered by D Parker's ascription of this difficulty to the machinations of a ticked off leftist. His comment struck me as being very similar to leftist virtue signaling.

Occam's razor, not ocam's razor.

"Michael Framson" at least capitalized "Ocam's razor", but YOU DID NOT....

Your "correction" was INCORRECT, "williamj"....LOL!....

It only takes one complaint against one tweet for X to lock your account for a week. It’s like Jack is back.

EdR's avatar

I’m so sorry they are putting you through hell

John Rogitz's avatar

I don't do Snapface or Twitchat and never have, but I love reading your stuff on the email link. Too uninformed to know how important XTwit is to your business but if it's "not very" I'd blow it off and stop sticking needles in my eyes

John Rogitz's avatar

Thanks. Social media is a glorified toy, the primary value of which derives from the unsolicited presentation of ads for deodorant and beer

Go to Truth Social..I keep getting banned on FB for posting articles about Iran and Austin. The libtards are at war with us and reporting us for everything that goes against their "No Kings " bullshit.

.Personally, I have X but never use it. You need to try to get to Elon, as i am sure he has no idea how rogue players are trying to destroy his platform.

Sheryl's avatar

After my 3rd ban on X, I am now Truth Social only. Honestly, there is far less stress and angst in my life. I didn't realize the affect X was having on my mental health.

Juju's avatar

Posting this up here so you’ll see it:

Did you appeal? I tap the “appeal” link in that message. It worked for me last week. Literally the very next day I got a message “we have reviewed your account for [being a heinous troll] and found that you are not [this that and the other blah blah blah] and your account has been fully restored.” (Brackets are my foggy memory of the “spirit” of the accusations, LOL)

It was all automated like Ai did the blocking initially I think??? 🤷🏼‍♀️ But then it investigated itself and found out it was acting like a piece of shit and restored me? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Tap appeal when you see the message. Go to your email to find the option to appeal if you miss the pop up while using X

Thank you. Appreciate advice!

How about if all of us post something on our X accounts, asking what the heck is going on with yours?

Brian M's avatar

you will just get your account suspended if you challenge the auditors at X. It takes almost nothing.

Operator Dawn's avatar

I wonder if Elon knows his investment is being corrupted AGAIN

Brian M's avatar

Let me make this post to @Elon Musk....your audit team is still heavily biased against conservatives and for the far Left. You have not cleaned up your company, X. You need to spend some time paying attention to this cancellation of conservative opinions (under the guise of auditing bots). As for Youtube, we know who owns them (Google) and that company's inherent liberal bias that has never been corrected.

Operator Dawn's avatar

YES didn't he buy it for gazillions of dollars for the protection of FREE SPEECH

Beth's avatar

Imagine being debanked in a similar fashion. Or put on the no fly list and missing weddings and funerals.

I think once they block you, you have to cool your heels and accept the punishment until they let you back on, usually a week to 10 days. I'll bet they think you're trying to circumvent their punishment which means you're compounding your infractions, in their eyes. It would be NICE if X had some sort of human contact possible.

Meta is the absolute worst, by far.

It would appear that there are holdovers from the pre-Musk acquisition days who are functioning as moles for the death cult.

For all the good it will do, I will begin posting, "Reinstate Sasha Stone, now!!" on my X account – if all of your subscribers and followers begin to do the same (and sustain it), maybe it will attention from the right people.

Brandy's avatar

I feel like someone is targeting you. I will say Elon HATES and DESPISES Substack so don't link anything on here to that. It basically ended Matt Taibbi's X account. Unless you actively look for his account, you won't find it. They are now pinging your ip address.

Michael Miale's avatar

Just purely guessing here, but I wouldn't be surprised if Elon sees Substack as being a direct competitor to X. I bet he probably doesn't like anyone posting a lot of links to personal long-form written content on ANY other site.

Brandy's avatar

Yes! That's the perfect guess because that's exactly what he said. He was angry about it, too.

Juju's avatar

I post Substack links all the time without issue. Half the time when in the main post it properly converts to the image of the post. The other half it’s just a link. So I started posting “link in first reply!” And then I reply to my post immediately with the Substack link. Works like a charm. 🤣

Brandy's avatar

Yes, you can get around the basic ban but links will stop working and it's such a hassle. Plus, even Grok admits it reduces the size of the people who get to see your posts. Some people aren't bothered by that, but people like Sasha really need the visibility.

George W Young's avatar

I was banned from LinkedIn (Really. No loss.) for life. I was given the option of filling out an online form requesting the reason. I have filled out the form a half-dozen times.

Never gotten a response.

Betsy Whitfill's avatar

Complain to @elonmusk: he's a really decent guy and wants X to be free. Your trouble must be with someone working inside.

Anti-Hip's avatar

There are most certainly internal saboteurs, in an organization so politically charged.

DavidK's avatar

This is terrible (and I will keep trying to follow you on X so long as you keep creating new accounts :) )

People wonder why libertarians/conservatives don't want the government running everything , such as housing and healthcare. Because when the bureaucrats run everything, they DO NOTHING. So nobody gets food, shelter, or medical care (except the exempt elite).

Same thing with "technology". I get a DATA BREACH! letter in the mail about once a month where someone hacks a system and steals my (and my family's) SSN, ID, medical records, bank account info, etc., and then it is MY responsibility to try to fix it by notifying credit agencies and locking down all my information (at my own personal expense). Remember when that guy got locked out of his own house by Amazon because the "algo" thought he said something racist to a post worker or prime delivery person or something? I'm about as excited to live in a world of 100% technology/AI/Social media as I am to live in one where the government "runs" everything.

Good luck Sasha and will stick with you either way.

Wondering if the Democrap zombies working for Twitter are doing this intentionally. How would anyone know if they're deeply embedded in the organization? Like the Democrap traitors working in DC, embedded in our federal government.

steven t koenig's avatar

Jeeze, get a life. I've heard of people living their entire lives without twitter, face book, instagram and pinterest. I am one of them. The closest I come to social media is substack, and you're about to sour me on that too
