Mamdani really is not very smart or he would not write such an inane opinion piece, if he even wrote it at all. For him to contend that the merger will somehow harm journalism and the movie industry has no basis in fact. What IS true, is that the Democrat party and the Leftist control of the propaganda-media was greatly damaged. Good! I can't wait to see the changes that will be made at CNN. Maybe Bari Weiss will be put in charge of cleaning house?
Regarding Hollywood, I was kind of looking forward to its demise. There is nothing good about the people or the place, any longer. I imagined rebuilding the movie industry with soundstages in Nashville or Orlando with actors, directors and producers who had ideologies that were representative of the places they lived. But that would have been REALLY expensive, to abandon 100 years of production facilities in Socal. Maybe it can happen slowly and more production will take place outside of CA. Those movie lots can be sold off little by little for the real estate on which they sit. Meantime, the Boomer and GenX media and movie moguls will be leaving their mortal coils. One can only dream.
Anyone that uses Tish James as someone as part of their reason to disagree on anything loses me immediately. He-& her- are retards & wouldn’t recognize any smart solution even if it made them money. How the country follows them makes me worried for all of us!!
