Among the things we have figured out is the most important aspect in their recovery is them knowing their human is there for them, talking to or with them, providing the comfort of gentle, familiar hands and giving them as much of their daily routine as possible.

Suspect that all/most dogs are empaths. Thank you for returning the favor. Dogs communicate mostly through vibe, in my opinion. Love is the best vibe.

I was never a “dog girl” but I inherited a dog when my daughter asked me to take her dog after her husband suddenly died.
This sweet pup worked her way into my heart and I absolutely love her
All I can say at this point is that dogs know when they are loved
No matter how this ends, jasper knows how much you love him and that is what matters
