It’s so simple to win any election a Democrat has to lie about what they truly want and believes. If they ever admit to what they truly want they would never win any election where they can not rig the results.

He is telling them he is going to solve all of their problems and the rich are going to pay for it. That’s the lie. The rich will never pay. They either own him outright and have bought a loophole or they can just move to Florida or Texas. The only people who end up paying are those that can’t afford to get the hell out of NYC. IE the poor and the middle class

Except that we won 2 (actually 3) elections on Donald Trump doing *exactly* what he said he would as President.

See, I understand when your side lies to me or my side lies to you. That's politics. But YOUR side lied to YOU...about Biden's decline, about Harris's real chances, about everything from the "hard evidence of collusion" that Adam Schiff was supposedly keeping in his office drawer to the effectiveness of Covid shots to Hunter Biden's laptop.

Or maybe they didn't lie to you. Maybe you were one of those people who was in on the con the whole time and carried their water like a good foot soldier. But every Democrat in America falls into one of two categories. Either you were lied to by your own leaders or you helped them lie to everyone else. There is no Option C, and neither of the existing options is a recommendation for taking any of you seriously.

Sasha, wonderful job unmasking the poser class, the vapid and the vacuous who will decide NYC’S election in favor of the deceitful one. The clear and succinct way you assemble your material and construct your case so matter-of-factly makes your conclusions common sense.

I have lived in Manhattan for over 30 years. My daughter was two and my wife was pregnant when 9/11 struck. We had a keyboard on our roof and our building was in the dust cloud of the towers. We got out with the clothes on our backs. We never thought of leaving. But now, I’m leaving this time. Enough of the crazies. These are the ones who tried to jail Daniel Penny and Trump. Enough.

At the end of the day, NYC is unimportant. It only gets attention because all of the media is there, including conservative media. They can afford their luxury beliefs because Wall Street funds them. There is no reason why Wall Street needs to be centralized there or anywhere else. So the exodus accelerates. J P Morgan already has more employees in TX than NYC. There are some great photo essays about abandoned Detroit and I am looking forward to the NYC version.

The deals get done in NYC. The finance jobs outside NY are back office, paper-shuffling, of which there are legions. The client-facing investment banking is collected in NY for one-stop shopping for investors. Big difference.

The deals can be made anywhere or several places at once. Wall Street as a place is obsolete and it is just inertia that keeps it there. Inertia will break under the rising dysfunction.

What I want to know is, how is it that so many on the 'left' seem to have no idea of the hysterical hell that they created over race in the past ten years? They seriously have no clue somehow. They don't get what Trump is doing to untangle this hell. They're shilling against 'authoritarianism' after heaping racial authoritarians on the populace for years.

In order to be on the left, one must have no clue as to how causes reap effects.

NYC has a population of , roughly, 8 million. Nearly 2 million of those are on SNAP/Food Stamps. The fact is these people do not have the luxury of considering the almost certain increase in crime and filth that will result should Mamdani win and his policies are put in place. What a sad state of affairs when the Democrats have to choose between a known criminal and a socialist/communist.

"Most of us Hillarycrats were terrified that Democratic Socialism would pull the party too far to the Left and we’d never win an election again"

Not sure about that. What was "Hillarycare" (or Obamacare, or single payer) if not a huge step towards communism? After all, everyone needs healthcare, and once the state is responsible for managing the costs, it must by definition control both the inputs (habits of the people) and outputs (healthcare results) of the population. This inevitably leads to tyranny, as behaviors are prohibited and proscribed for the people (for their own good and the good of the state) and care is rationed.

In terms of rationing care, Zeke Emanuel's "whole lives" system gave this away. Care would be rationed by a formula based on the investment in the individual vs. the expected return of that individual's future life. So a young college graduate is likely at the top of the list, while grandma (no tax revenue for the state) and infants (no money invested in them yet) would be at the bottom of the list.

Let's also not forget that most of the arguments banning tobacco were based on cost to the system. That's what they wanted for all of us with socialized healthcare - what we do with our bodies (good and bad) closely monitored and controlled by the state. For the good of the state, not for us of course.

Hillary in particular was always in bed (figuratively - probably) with Soros, who is the ultimate puppet master driving the world towards a communist-style tyranny. She always hated the common people, and she always thought the smart people (like herself0 should control all of our lives.

If the "Hillarycrats" did not see that it was because they were in a bubble and/or were willfully blind.

Though I have been paying less than rapt attention to this Bozo, he seems like a sincere Muslim to me. And the "foreign-born" element among his supporters looks like PC-Speak for Fellow Muslims. If I am right, here is what that means:

1) Muslims cannot be friends with infidels.

2) Muslims are free to attack their infidel neighbors in order to put them under Islam.

3) Women have 1/3 the value of men.

4) Feuds are how we keep the peace.

5) Rape of slaves is permitted, which of course means that slavery is permitted.

and the big one:

6) ISLAMIC LAW MUST BE IMPOSED, WHETHER THE PEOPLE LIKE IT OR NOT.

We should remember what the Muslims say: "Democracy is against Islam".

They should know ...

Too bad that I am in a hotel, and did not bring my Koran with me, so that in some cases I may be exaggerating. But I think I have got the gist of things right. But the objective of Sunni Islam is to see to it that Sunni Islam, which is in practice nothing but Islamic Law, covers the entire world. Muslims are not bad people. But Islam is a *horrible* religion.
