I'm not sure who exactly she thinks her constituency IS. It certainly no longer is the people who elected her. Democrats will turn on her the moment she's no longer useful (see Mike Pence). And despite her protestations that voters were punishing her for voting for impeachment, she could have survived that. It was collaborating with the Democrats on the sham investigation into Jan. 6 - with no cross-examination, no unapproved witnesses. She betrayed her own voters, but wants to be lauded for her heroism.
Ever notice the only people talking about a "civil war" are those on the left? They keep saying the right wants a civil war, but you don't hear much about that from the right - particularly the mainstream right.
The funny thing is that the left is so concentrated in cities, that they are extremely vulnerable in a civil war. A trucking embargo of I-5 and I-95 (think about who drives trucks in this country - not bloggers for Bolde who live in Park Slope) would probably be decisive. Team Blue would be out of food and gas in about 72 hours.
Polls (if u believe) consistently show red states being more accepting to splitting up. I am for sure. I think we would like to do it peacefully however and increasingly , I get the idea they are preparing for a hot break up.

If she is involved with the Lincoln Project - Rick Wilson and those guys - she will likely run as an independent, to peel off enough votes from Trump to prevent him from winning, like Bernie Sanders did with Hillary...even though he ran as a Democrat. That's my guess. She can't run as a Democrat because of her stance on abortion and guns.

Clearly, no Democrat would vote for her for the reasons you stated, along with the fact that any Democrat voting for her would consider that their own candidate would thus lose a vote vitally needed to defeat Trump. Just as clearly, no one who supports Trump would vote for her. No disaffected Republican or Independent would vote for her unless they weren't going to vote for Trump anyway; so she'd only be peeling potential votes away from the Democrat that the disaffected Republican or Independent might have otherwise supported.
