I’m glad you feel comfortable criticizing The Chosen One. I look forward to the day when he’ll retreat to one of his mansions and leave us all alone.

He'll retreat as soon as the Clintons retreat. We're stuck with him for the remainder of our lives.

I'm guessing he won't retreat unless one of two conditions are in place (let's not forget he's an Islamist):

1. He contracts early age dementia

2. He dies young.

Both highly unlikely, but we can hope. Right?

Let's be perfectly clear: Barack Hussein Obama is behind all that is culturally wrong in America. He is not at all unhappy with his creation. It is exactly as he intended. His plan from day one was to isolate and vilify Caucasian males, because we have had the power the past 250 years. This is the source of the term "toxic males" which his staff probably dreamt up. Barry elevated everyone, anyone other than the toxic white males to the heights of society under the concept of DEI, whereby merit is meaningless, something Barry himself said was true telling entrepreneurs and inventors: "You did not build that!", a Marxist statement if there ever was one. He has the legacy media in the palm of his hand to broadcast his ideology, and most of the Democratic political machinery in America. Joe and Kamala were "inconvenient" and he did the best with them he could. Joe was actually play-doh he could sculpt. Barry owed Kamala who helped him with his Illinois US Senate campaign in 2004 when she was state San Fran DA in CA. He inserted his own team into the Biden Cabinet to implement the policies and strategies, like Open Borders; like open prisons and political prosecutions to advance the Democratic party, he dreamt of, but did not have the balls to implement himself as he knew that would end his political career. The fact Obama is now campaigning with poisonous politicians like El-Sayed, a possible terrorist in disguise, someone that not even James Carville or Bill Maher wants in the Democratic party, tells us all we need to know. Obama is coming in for the kill: to transform America into a socialist Islamic Republic. And the Democrats stand their with jaws wide open wanting to hump something (since they can't, Barry), they are so excited.

100%.

Susan Rice joined the Biden administration as a Domestic Advisor. She previously worked for Obama.

Susan Rice is responsible for implementing DEI throughout the federal government and in pressuring businesses to implement DEI.

Gym+Fritz's avatar

I think it hard to remain rational when you try to criticize some people, Obama is one of them.

Your point about Rice being able to pressure large corporations to do costly, self-harmful, things such as DEI, is very important; it smacks of fascism, it’s something neither party should be able to get away with, it’s akin to money laundering, coerced contributions, and it perverts / distorts the necessary government oversight that corporations need. She should be prosecuted for conspiracy.

Dave M's avatar

I am 100% rational when criticizing Obama. The people that think he’s some god are those people whose emotions rule their lives. Whatever emotional response they have to anything is now their belief of what is true. Not me.

Jeff Keener's avatar

Susan Rice is a truly repulsive and contemptible DC-critter.

The migration unquestionably happened during Obama’s terms. I lived in Minnesota from 1982 to 2014. I witnessed it firsthand. The issue when I got to MN was Hmong migration. No one talks about them now. They assimilated. I don’t see that happening with the Somalis

Oh, Slotkin doesn’t really want to imprison her political foes, just wants to creatively use the courts, and Congress to intimidate, and silence them. Incarceration would be only a last resort for those who wouldn’t be quiet, or who associated with the wrong people.

Slotkin is definitely an Obama disciple. She says exactly the same things he would say or think, if he didn't want to dirty himself with uncouth language (he leaves that to his lieutenants), and is probably getting daily guidance from Obama HQ in Washington on what to say, to the word

Richard's avatar

The D-CIA was deliberate. This may be a bigger problem than Obama who always seemed like an useful idiot to me.

Penny Pritzker discovered Obama in the Illinois Senate. He was a complete nobody. Represented the liberal east-side strongholds including Hyde Park (i.e., the University of Chicago). Obama served in the Illinois legislature during Michael Madigan's rule. Madigan was recently convicted and is currently serving a federal sentence:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Madigan

Madigan ran the state legislature. He was in charge. Most people in Illinois probably don't even know who their state representatives are. Obama had zero influence while Madigan was running the show.

But...to her credit...Penny Pritzker recognized that he was a very marketable commodity. No-one has ever accused the Pritzkers of being stupid or slow to recognize an opportunity:

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2013/5/19/1210299/community/Penny-Pritzker-as-an-example-of-the-criminality-of-our-elites/

Ironically, given the labor-relations history of the Pritzkers, Obama appointed here Secretary of Commerce. Anti-amusingly, Biden [sic: whoever was running the White House during Biden's term] nominated her "U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine’s Economic Recovery":

https://2021-2025.state.gov/announcing-the-u-s-special-representative-for-ukraines-economic-recovery/

You can imagine the sort of fleecing and grift that would have enabled.

Despite my skepticism, I admit I voted for Obama in 2008. The guy had an empty legal career and non-existent academic career. There's nothing there. He had job titles but he didn't do anything.

That was the last time I voted for any Democrat in a national election: here in Illinois, an specifically in Chicago, one has little choice in that regard).

I now view Obama as little more than a narcissistic meat puppet.

It seems very ironic that, given the revelations provided by Tulsi Gabbard last July, that the "Russia Collusion Hoax" really got started in the waning days of the Obama administration.

So, the former-Constitutional-law-professor president is the first president who openly committed sedition?

Given his "academic credentials", he certainly couldn't feign ignorance of the implications of his actions.

Brian M's avatar

A couple things: we all know who made the Cabinet and key advisor appointments during the Biden term. It was 100% Barry in action, often through his most important facilitator, Susan Rice. Barry, is not stupid. He is conniving. Yes, he was a Constitutional scholar. He studied the Constitution to find ways to undermine it. And that is what he has done with his career.

Richard's avatar

When he came out of nowhere, I did some research and concluded he was a Democrat back bencher that would go with the flow. Obama himself said he was a Rosarch test that let people see what they wanted.

Kaycee's avatar

We might all be if they start going after political donations and social media feeds.

NNTX's avatar

Yes. Jack Smith compiled an "enemies list" of everyone--EVERYONE--who ever donated to Trump's campaign, bought a MAGA hat, etc. That list totaled over 639,000 people. CITIZENS of this country, on a "naughty" list which is likely on some Leftist server even now so they can discipline us.

This is EXACTLY what the Leftists are doing in Europe. In the UK the police come to your door if you post something deemed unacceptable to the regime Leftists that run the country now.

Obama architected all of this, having learned at the feet of his Chicago mentor, Bill Ayers, how to implement the Saul Alinksy playbook (straight up Marrxist).

He is as phony as they come, self satisfied and without, honestly, any true accomplishments besides knowing how to tickle the egos of the foolish Dems and leftists who have empowered him. Those behind his rise--not just Soros--do not want a healthy, strong USA. Their goal is a supine populace, dependent citizens whom they can dominate and extract maximum cash from via taxes and fees. The globalist project is their utopia.

I do not understand why Trump, the DOJ, and Republicans are not going after Obama. He instructed Brennan and Clapper to change intelligence reports that stated that there was no Russia Collusion. This haunted Trumps first term and enabled the impeachments and subsequent law fare and even the three attempted murders. Obama ought to be indicted and put on trial. Even now, all previous Presidents remain silent as has been the case with every other prior President after leaving office. Not Obama. He is dedicated to tearing this country apart and imposing a communist future on us all. This man is a menace and must be dealt with.

Look at the howls prompted by the search and subpoena of Ilhan Omar, a much less powerful pol. None of those screaming about it even grasp that the investigation of her was started during Biden's administration, and that the search warrants were signed by a Democrat magistrate.

Your comment is true in D.C. A trial in Florida would likely be different. Remember, it’s possible to stitch all the lawfare against Trump with the Mar-A-Lago raid by Biden’s DOJ/FBI. So an indictment and trial could occur there in a well constructed RICO case.

Brian M's avatar

Yes, Trump has not done to others what they have done to him. He has turned the other cheek. Is that a nod to his Christian faith? Or does he think he can't get it over the finish line as stacked as the legal / judicial system is for the Left?

Yeah, but the fall of western civilization began with his election.

With all the talk about how Trump is Alienating our allies, He Who Shall Not Be Named displaced a thirty-year staunch ally and LITERALLY handed Egypt over to the Muslim Brotherhood.

His betrayal of Qaddafy led to the mass migration that is resulting in what we are seeing in France right now

I have to wonder if WE are on the wrong side of history and that there is no way to stop the worldwide caliphate that YOU helped to bring about

Jeff Keener's avatar

Exactly! We should not forget that the Obama/Clinton administration (Biden barely registered during the Obama years) enforced policies that super-charged the IS Caliphate, decapitated Libya on the verge of Qaddafy's capitulation, and failed to enforce their "red line" in Syria, thereby launching the greatest humanitarian crisis since WW2. These policies created tens of millions of refugees who flooded Europe leading to the catastrophes we're seeing in France, Italy, UK, Sweden, and Belgium right now. Biden conducted his own refugee crisis on our southern border, facilitating the fastest growing criminal enterprise in modern U.S. history --> illegal human sex trafficking, while overwhelming cities and towns throughout the country with illegal aliens, thereby planting alien communities of future radicals. Their sanctuary jurisdictions become magnets for illegals and temporary refugees who suck up billions of welfare dollars with thousands phony NGOs. As Mayor Frey of Minneapolis let slip, these phony social welfare services become a significant part of the blue city's economy, as the stolen money is spread around local shops, auto dealers, real estate deals, etc. That's why they fight for them.

Now, let's criticize Alexander Hamilton, who was the rat that Patrick Henry "smelt."

In Federalist Paper #84, Alexander Hamilton argued that a Bill of Rights was not necessary in the “new” Constitution (and James Madison concurred at that time):

“…The most considerable of the remaining objections is that the plan of the convention contains no bill of rights.…I go further, and affirm that bills of rights, in the sense and to the extent in which they are contended for, are not only unnecessary in the proposed Constitution, but would even be dangerous.”

If only we could look to the wisdom of Thomas Jefferson and the other so-called “Anti-Federalists” to get us out of this mess that Alexander Hamilton started. Get in the Ring, Alexander Hamilton! https://lizlasorte.substack.com/p/get-in-the-ring-thomas-jefferson?r=76q58

NNTX's avatar

An interesting point, Liz. The debate about the Constitution was lively, and surfaced real tensions between federalism and states rights. My view is holding them in tension is a tough tightrope, but worth the effort. Hamilton was responsible for some good work at the founding, particularly regarding US finances.

That said, I have never been a fan of the woke Lin Manuel Miranda's "Hamilton". Jejune at best.

The play and screen adaptation of "1776" hies closer to history, and is more entertaining as well.

Liz LaSorte's avatar

I started watching Hamilton the musical, and I couldn’t get past how inaccurate the casting was for woke purposes. It looked too stupid to waste time on, so I didn’t fully watch it.

And, as far as his desire to borrow with debt, I get that as I, and many others, would never have been able to buy a home without a mortgage or a car without a payment. That is the American dream, essentially.

But Hamilton was an elitist who did not care about the little guy (and he came from a poor background) and he made that abundantly clear. He also is the reason we don’t have that beautiful term limits language that we had in the Articles of Confederation. He won that battle and term limits is one of the few things nearly all of us agree about.

And today, our current reality is proving that “Anti-Federalist” Brutus was right about everything: https://lizlasorte.substack.com/p/brutus-was-right-about-everything?r=76q58

Jeff Keener's avatar

Okay, so the latest thing the Jackassery wants to do is to make Trump so toxic that anyone, especially young ones, thinking good thoughts about MAGA will be threatened with legal actions by the Democratic Party. Speaking for the Deep State, Rep. Slotkin lay down their card. This morning, I see in my hometown newspaper, a letter to the editor by one of my neighbors, a call to formally declare Trump and his supporters, threats to the United States and to deal with them appropriately. This will escalate, especially if the Jackassery take the House and Senate.

The problem is not ordinary democrats, but rather the leaders in the democrat party, the DNC, the by-any-means-necessary types, the operatives and the ideological activists, the power-crazed cabalists.

The poor old folks who have succumbed to voting the party line out of habit, because the Dems used to be a preferable alternate to the old corporate-oriented GOP, are not our enemy . . . the rascals, perverts and corporate media that try to manipulate them are the real enemy.

Jeff Keener's avatar

Largely agree. I come from a family of traditional Democrats, one side southern Baptist Democrats and the other side midwestern Presbyterian Democrats. My parents are JFK Democrats. I generally consider myself a JFK Democrat, though I tend to lean conservatarian and usually end up voting Libertarian or write-in candidate. Democrats used to be fiercely anti-communist, pro-police, pro-military, pro-Israel, and anti-illegal immigration. Bill Clinton, Joe Manchin, and John Fetterman are that kind of Democrat. Obama totally flipped the DNC on its head and using ACORN and TARP money, heavily funded radical NGOs performing "community organizing" and "get out the vote" services for the DNC. This brought in an undesirable extremist element into the DNC, the fruits of which we see growing in the red-green alliance of the DSA. Current legacy leadership of the Democratic Party are cowards and see DSA for exactly who they are, but they will simply smile, nod their heads, and stand aside while mewing "It's a big tent", hoping the Antifada doesn't come for them. They would be very wrong.

Gym+Fritz's avatar

Where are the rest of the good democrats?

A DSA-powered midterm win is not good for the D-party, long-term.

Jeff Keener's avatar

They're out there. Mostly older folks living in quiet retirement.

You're absolutely right about the DSA. They are hemlock tea for the DNC.

Ted's avatar

"Obama totally flipped the DNC on its head and using ACORN and TARP money, heavily funded radical NGOs performing "community organizing" and "get out the vote" services for the DNC."

This is a very interesting comment, Jeff. I knew about the ACORN money, but was unaware of TARP money being diverted in that fashion.

Anything to do with TARP interests me deeply. It's always, only and ever about the money, and TARP bypassed the homeowners struggling with mortgage resets during an employment crisis, and went directly to the financial system's consolidation machinery.

The TARP could have, for a very small administrative cost, "killed two birds with one stone," minimizing that huge surge in homelessness (at least to a degree.) It didn't, and I've been wondering precisely what specific acts of corruption led to those millions making homelessness worse, instead of better.

If you have a link to any site tracking the TARP funding into the DNC political machine, I'd be very grateful if you'd share it.

Orenv's avatar

They have seized control of the ship. Unless they are tossed out of the bridge of that ship, it will sail to oblivion. The only way is to toss them out of office. Heck, it would only take 1 election and they could go back 2 years later and vote blue. At some point they need to accept responsibility.

Gym+Fritz's avatar

And yet polls predict that that the DNC will probably gain control of the house, and maybe even the senate? The power of a determined political machine!

Jeff Zekas's avatar

Thank you, Sasha, for expressing what I have felt for quite a long time now.

Unlike many of my fellow citizens, I was fortunate to see Obama for what he was early on—a man-in-parts. He was part-narcissist, part Leftist, part Islamist, part empty-suit, part actor, part authoritarian, and yeah, part just plain mean-spirited.

It seems Obama glided through his early life, guided by unseen, but rather influential, hands. He accomplished little as a student, as a lawyer/activist, or as a Senator, and yet, the buzz about the guy kept getting stronger in the media and within the Democratic party. For me, that was a red flag. He was sold to us as the "light-bringer" and it worked. After all, getting elected POTUS is no small thing.

But then what? His signature domestic achievement did nothing to reduce the cost of healthcare, and his 'great' foreign policy 'deal' allowed a demonic Islamist dictatorship, Iran, to speed toward a nuclear weapon and sponsor terror on an industrial scale. He was the first modern Democrat to subtly demonize Israel , setting the stage for the broad-based Israel-hatred among many Democrats today.

And now, an ex-President with few real accomplishments lectures the country about many of the problems that he contributed to. He's slick, that's for sure. But that's all he is.
