You know what is racist?

When Schumer and every Democrat tell us day after day that black Americans are not smart enough to get an ID.

Roger Beal's avatar

This sort of JV amateur crap from the Oval Office may very well cost conservatives the Congress. And if the Congress goes Democrat, thus ends the MAGA revolution, the DOGE efforts, and sanity in DC in general.

Faith's avatar

Dude, don't be so negative. You cannot give up. Plan for ALL scenarios---- Be proactive. Come up with ideas, like spreading the truth of what Democrats will do and have done while in and/or out of power. Open the borders, let out criminals, promote DA's who won't prosecute crime, oppress their opponents, imprison their opponents, spend too much money and cause more inflation, raise taxes, castrate kids via the trans crap, to name only a small amount of the anti-civilized stuff they push ....say it loud, proud, everywhere and often.

The "Trump MAGA cult" knows how to take a joke, unlike you.

The Obamas deserve to be ridiculed.

The day Obama took office; the Dow closed at 7,949 points. Eight years later, the Dow had almost tripled. General Motors and Chrysler were on the brink of bankruptcy, with Ford not far behind, and their failure, along with their supply chains, would have meant the loss of millions of jobs. Obama pushed through a controversial, $80 billion bailout to save the car industry. The U.S. car industry survived, started making money again, and the entire $80 billion was paid back, with interest. While we remain vulnerable to lone-wolf attacks, no foreign terrorist organization has successfully executed a mass attack here since 9/11. Obama ordered the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden. He drew down the number of troops from 180,000 in Iraq and Afghanistan to just 15,000, and increased funding for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He launched a program called Opening Doors, which, since 2010, has led to a 47 percent decline in the number of homeless veterans. He set a record 73 straight months of private-sector job growth. Due to Obama’s regulatory policies, greenhouse gas emissions decreased by 12%, production of renewable energy more than doubled, and our dependence on foreign oil was cut in half. He signed The Lilly Ledbetter Act, making it easier for women to sue employers for unequal pay. His Omnibus Public Lands Management Act designated more than 2 million acres as wilderness, creating thousands of miles of trails and protecting over 1,000 miles of rivers. He reduced the federal deficit from 9.8 percent of GDP in 2009 to 3.2 percent in 2016. For all the inadequacies of the Affordable Care Act, we seem to have forgotten that, before the ACA, you could be denied coverage for a pre-existing condition, and kids could not stay on their parents’ policies up to age 26. Obama approved a $14.5 billion system to rebuild the levees in New Orleans.

Ssoyd Jones's avatar

Mitch McConnell famously asserted that his singular mission would be to block anything President Obama tried to do. While Obama failed on his campaign pledge to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay, that prison’s population decreased from 242 to around 50. He expanded funding for embryonic stem cell research, supporting groundbreaking advancement in areas like spinal injury treatment and cancer. Credit card companies can no longer charge hidden fees or raise interest rates without advance notice. Most years, Obama threw a 4th of July party for military families. He held babies, played games with children, served barbecue, and led the singing of “Happy Birthday” to his daughter Malia, who was born on July 4. Welfare spending is down: for every 100 poor families, just 24 receive cash assistance, compared with 64 in 1996. Obama comforted families and communities following more than a dozen mass shootings. After Sandy Hook, he said, “The majority of those who died today were children, beautiful little kids between the ages of 5 and 10 years old.” Yet, he never took away anyone’s guns........ He sang Amazing Grace, spontaneously, at the altar. He was the first president since Eisenhower to serve two terms without personal or political scandal. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. President Obama was not perfect, as no man and no president is, and you can certainly disagree with his political ideologies. But to say we suffered? If that’s the argument, if this is how we suffered for 8 years under Barack Obama, I have one wish: may we be so fortunate as to suffer 8 more."

Here's a refutation:

Stock market performance (Dow from 7,949 on Inauguration Day to nearly tripling): Obama's market "recovery" was a mirage propped up by endless Federal Reserve money-printing and bailouts that ballooned the national debt, rewarding Wall Street elites while Main Street suffered stagnant wages and underemployment. It ignored the underlying weakness—millions dropped out of the workforce, and the tripling was inflated by cheap money that set up future bubbles. Trump, in contrast, delivered a genuine boom through tax cuts, deregulation, and pro-business policies that supercharged the economy; the Dow surged over 50% pre-COVID, with record highs benefiting everyday investors via 401(k)s, not just Obama's cronies in finance.

Auto industry bailout ($80 billion, all paid back with interest, saved millions of jobs): This was a corrupt handout to Obama's union allies, shafting bondholders and taxpayers with a net loss of billions (closer to $10-15B after all was said and done), while forcing GM into "Government Motors" mode with failed green mandates like the Chevy Volt flop. It distorted markets and rewarded failure. Trump revitalized manufacturing without massive bailouts, renegotiating NAFTA into USMCA, imposing tariffs to protect American jobs, and seeing auto production soar with companies like Ford and GM expanding U.S. operations—real wins without picking winners and losers.

No major foreign terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11: Obama's naive "leading from behind" approach emboldened radicals, downplaying attacks like Fort Hood (49 wounded/killed), Boston (3 dead, hundreds injured), San Bernardino (14 dead), and Orlando (49 dead) as mere "workplace violence" or isolated incidents to avoid admitting his weak counterterrorism failed. ISIS flourished under his watch due to Iraq pullout. Trump crushed ISIS's caliphate in months, not years, through aggressive military action, travel bans on terror hotbeds, and zero tolerance for radical Islam—preventing far more threats and restoring American strength.

Osama bin Laden raid: Obama took credit for a raid built on Bush-era intelligence (including waterboarding that his admin hypocritically condemned), but then politicized it for reelection while leaking details that endangered SEALs. It was a single win in a sea of foreign policy disasters. Trump didn't need showy raids; he eliminated top terrorists like al-Baghdadi and Soleimani decisively, without apology, dismantling networks and deterring enemies—proving bold leadership over Obama's hesitant style.

Troop drawdowns (180k to 15k in Iraq/Afghanistan) and VA funding increase: Obama's reckless Iraq withdrawal created a vacuum for ISIS to slaughter thousands, forcing U.S. re-entry and prolonging wars he promised to end. Afghanistan became a quagmire of corruption. VA "increases" masked horrific scandals—veterans dying on waitlists, phony records—exposing bureaucratic incompetence. Trump signed the VA MISSION Act for choice in care, fired incompetent officials, reduced wait times dramatically, and drew down troops smartly without chaos (unlike Biden's botched exit), honoring vets with action, not empty funding hikes.

Homeless veterans decline (47% via Opening Doors): Token progress amid Obama's broader failure on homelessness, which exploded in liberal cities due to his lax policies on drugs and crime—veterans were just a PR sideshow while overall tent cities grew. Trump launched initiatives like the HUD-VASH expansion and opioid crackdown, slashing veteran homelessness further (down another 10-15% pre-COVID) through enforcement and opportunity zones that created jobs, not handouts.

73 straight months of private-sector job growth: Obama's "growth" was anemic—slowest recovery in history, with part-time gigs replacing full-time work, wages flatlining, and labor participation at 40-year lows as people gave up. It was welfare-state stagnation. Trump's pre-COVID economy exploded with 7 million jobs, record low unemployment for minorities (Black rate hit 5.4%), wage gains for blue-collar workers (over 3% annually), and brought back manufacturing—real prosperity, not Obama's jobless "recovery."

Greenhouse gas emissions down 12%, renewables doubled, foreign oil dependence halved: Emissions dropped despite Obama's policies, thanks to fracking he tried to regulate out of existence—his war on coal killed jobs in Appalachia without real climate gains. Renewables grew minimally, still a fraction of energy. Trump achieved energy independence through deregulation, making the U.S. a net exporter for the first time in decades, lowering emissions via natural gas dominance, and withdrawing from the job-killing Paris Accord—practical wins over Obama's virtue-signaling that enriched China.

Lilly Ledbetter Act: A trial-lawyer giveaway that encouraged frivolous lawsuits without fixing real pay gaps, ignoring factors like career choices and hours worked—more Obama pandering to identity politics. Trump empowered women through economic growth, with female unemployment at historic lows (3.4%) and initiatives like paid family leave in federal workforce—delivering opportunity, not litigation.

Public lands protection (2M+ acres wilderness, trails, rivers): Obama's overreach locked up lands, crippling rural economies by blocking mining, logging, and energy jobs—environmental extremism that hurt working families. Trump balanced conservation with development, expanding national parks while opening ANWR for drilling, boosting revenues and jobs without Obama's heavy-handed federal grabs.

Deficit reduction (9.8% to 3.2% of GDP): Laughable—Obama doubled the national debt to $20T, with trillion-dollar deficits becoming the norm post-crisis, funding failed stimuli and entitlements. It was fiscal irresponsibility. Trump cut taxes, spurring growth that increased revenues (pre-COVID deficits were stabilizing), and focused on efficiency—far better than Obama's spendthrift ways that burdened future generations.

ACA achievements (no pre-existing condition denials, kids on parents' plans to 26): Obamacare was a disaster—premiums doubled, deductibles skyrocketed, millions lost doctors/plans despite lies, and it entrenched government control while bankrupting insurers. A bureaucratic nightmare. Trump tried to repeal it, expanded short-term plans and association health plans for cheaper options, and eliminated the individual mandate tax—providing relief and choice over Obama's coercive mess.

New Orleans levee rebuilding ($14.5B): Slow, bureaucratic rebuild that left vulnerabilities, with flooding issues persisting—typical Obama inefficiency. Trump accelerated infrastructure via executive action, funding resilient projects nationwide, including Gulf Coast, with faster approvals—getting results without red tape.

Guantanamo population drop (242 to ~50), but not closed: Obama's half-measure released dangerous terrorists who rejoined the fight (e.g., some became Taliban leaders), endangering Americans—all while failing his core promise. Weak on security. Trump kept Gitmo open, added high-value detainees, and prioritized safety over Obama's misguided closures.

Embryonic stem cell research funding expanded: Ethically dubious, wasting taxpayer dollars on controversial science with minimal breakthroughs, diverting from adult stem cells that showed more promise. Trump focused on practical health advances, like Right to Try for terminal patients and Operation Warp Speed for COVID vaccines—saving lives rapidly over Obama's symbolic gestures.

Credit card reforms (no hidden fees, rate hikes without notice): Minor tweaks that didn't curb overall debt explosion under Obama, as consumer borrowing soared amid economic weakness. Trump fostered financial stability through growth, with household debt-to-income ratios improving pre-COVID—empowering consumers via prosperity, not regulations.

4th of July parties for military families, personal touches (holding babies, etc.): Superficial photo-ops masking Obama's disdain for the military (e.g., rules of engagement that got troops killed). Trump honored them with massive parades, pay raises (largest in a decade), and personal engagement—genuine respect over Obama's performative acts.

Welfare spending down (cash assistance recipients lower): Misleading—overall welfare exploded (SNAP doubled to 47M recipients), trapping people in dependency amid Obama's weak economy. Trump reformed welfare via work requirements, reducing rolls by millions and promoting self-sufficiency through job creation.

Comforting after mass shootings, sang Amazing Grace at Charleston: Empty rhetoric—Obama exploited tragedies for gun control pushes that failed, while shootings surged (e.g., Sandy Hook, Pulse). No real prevention. Trump signed Fix NICS for better background checks and focused on mental health/school safety—action over Obama's tearful speeches.

No personal/political scandal in two terms: Delusional—IRS targeting conservatives, Benghazi lies ("video" cover-up, 4 dead Americans), Fast & Furious (guns to cartels, agent killed), Solyndra cronyism ($500M lost), and spying on journalists/AP. Corruption galore. Trump's admin had scrutiny but delivered results without Obama's systemic abuses.

Nobel Peace Prize: A joke award for doing nothing, highlighting Obama's overhyped image over substance—wars expanded, drones killed civilians. Trump brokered Abraham Accords, historic Middle East peace deals—earning real respect, not premature prizes.

Obama deserved to be mocked by Trump; not because of his skin color, but because he was a terrible president.

Ssoyd Jones's avatar

It wasn't ridicule. It was racist but apparently you are incapable of seeing the difference. The Obamas didn't retaliate in return the way Trump does. Your post is a joke because Trump is incapable of taking even the slightest ridicule and instead retaliates over everything he doesn't like no matter how inconsequential. The MAGA cult is dying and Trump's days are numbered. What are you going to do when everybody turns against you.

Anonymous's avatar

You're heavily mistaken. The "MAGA cult" won the last election. It won't go away anytime soon.

Trump only calls out those who rightfully deserve to be called out, like the Obamas; not because of the race card, but because of their failed policies and beliefs (see above).

ThePossum 🇬🇧's avatar

Oh for Pete's sake, we might as well not have the Congress--what have conservatives done with it, seriously?

Skenny's avatar

This is not the time to be truthful. 😏

JJoshua's avatar

I honestly think it's too late now for the GOP. They are going to lose the House and maybe the Senate. I just can't believe he can't keep his mouth shut. But that's only one part of the problem.

Faith's avatar

More doom and gloom....stop it. The Midterms are in NOVEMBER. Get out and do something about it-now.

synthview's avatar

Early voting starts in September in some states. If any voters’ minds are to be changed, the opportunity is that much shorter.

Faith's avatar

Good point. Jd and Trump are going on the road to promote the cause---that'll help.

Alan Wolfson's avatar

There is no way the GOP loses the Senate. The states have gravitated into hardened Blue/Red corners. The only true swing states left are Nevada, Arizona, Wisconsin, maybe North Carolina. And Dems already have 2, 2, 1 Senate seats in the first three of those. I just don't see enough "swing voter" crossover in any of the Red-state Senate seats in play in 2026.

Alan Wolfson's avatar

Add to that - Georgia's 2 DEMOCRAT Senate seats were both won in runoff elections (Warnoff's TWICE) and I think both will return to the GOP next time they are up.

Texyz's avatar

....this week we KNOW that Georgia was cheating back then...

Kidbuck's avatar

There's definitely a way to lose. It's called CHEATING.

They do it every November. Without the left cheating elections wouldn't be close.

Ssoyd Jones's avatar

PROVE IT. The only reason you say that is because you believe all the lies coming from Trump and all his lying MAGA cult.

Kidbuck's avatar

Tell me.

Why is it they can't ask for ID at the polls in the Blue Governed States of California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and DC?

What would be the purpose of not requiring proof of who you are?

Why do The Dems INSIST on mass mail-in ballots? Why is that so important to The Dems?

I could go on, but let's keep this simple.

Ssoyd Jones's avatar

The only way the Republicans win is if they cheat and fix the elections. Republicans have a history of cheating in elections.

frank's avatar

Cite that history.

Anonymous's avatar

This is completely false. Evidence shows the opposite.

Republicans are not the ones that are just letting anyone in without verification. That's your side who's doing that.

Ssoyd Jones's avatar

That is a 100% lie. Republicans in the past cheated so much that the DOJ had to watch over them for years in several southern states. Give me proof that Democrats have cheated in elections as much or more than Republicans. You can't because it isn't true.

Anonymous's avatar

The 2020 election: The vote total was suspiciously far higher than anything seen in past elections, where there is no evidence Republicans tried to cheat (election integrity is not cheating). There's ample evidence of voting irregularities in several non-red states.

What are you talking about? Did you even actually read the story, actually see the post? It literally has nothing to do with his mouth being open or shut. Nothing in the story has to do with him talking. You make no sense.

JJoshua's avatar

Opening his mouth, writing a post on Truth Social. Same fucking thing. I was making broad statement.

Old Comers’ Granddaughter's avatar

He didn’t write a post on Truth either.

You should try reading more than headlines sometimes. It can be quite enlightening.

Joshua, the midterms will be decided by how the economy is doing this summer. If people are feeling the effects of 4% growth, low fuel costs, and re-investment in US manufacturing, the Republicans will do just fun. If not, not. This latest tempest in a media teapot will be long forgotten.

Pam Humphrey's avatar

Trump is no fool and he is not a racist. He says what he thinks in the moment sometimes which does not endear him to his haters but his lovers know that he knows what he is doing and what may result, He has a plan and it's over our heads. He is doing a lot in a short amount of time and mostly I think it's good but only HE knows what and why. I would put my money on his decision, especially after the last two presidents and their vp's. Save America is the goal, make America the best country globally, so far, so good is my estimation after decades of living.
