I have mostly stopped following the news and social media because those psychotic radical leftists scare the shit out of me. And it’s depressing. The leftist media is fueling the insanity . They want Marxism at any cost , including a bloody revolution.

I talked to my 5 year old son today about Dolly Parton. We live near where she grew up and her presence has always been a part of his life. He got her books as has all my other children for literally decades. The Childrens Hospital is now named after Dolly (happened this year). I asked him why everyone loves Dolly. He said because she was a singer. I told him that everyone knew her because she was a very well known singer, but everyone loved her because she was always kind.
Dolly’s whole life and career was to fulfilling her calling as a Christ-follower. She truly was a lifelong missionary (probably, culturally, the most well known globally and celebrated). She used her God given talents to glorify Him and bless her community and those needing laughter, joy and escape. The media, ill-equipped to cover personal faith, has overlooked this centrality to Dolly’s life in each and every obituary and testimonial. Dolly had a peace, confidence and courage, through her faith, that many admire and desire. I love the fact that liberal atheists and agnostics claim her as their own, as that testifies to the power of God working through His vessel Dolly to give hope and love so that all might want to know Him. If you can’t grasp Dolly’s personal, lifelong faith, you can’t grasp her legacy, impact and importance.

This is all I have to say. Dolly grew up dirt poor from east Tennessee Appalachia. She achieved the American Dream through hard work and talent.
She NEVER forgot where she came from and who she was. She helped people from that area many times.
