There was a time that I admired Owens, for stepping out and opposing Establishment forces. She was not saying anything too crazy and supported Trump, a populist who also defies the Establishment. That made sense. Tucker was also in this camp in my mind. But then Candace "jumped the shark" when first Trump and then Kirk, ditched her as her opinions and demands became too crazy. That made her even more nuts and more vindictive, willing to say anything to get back at those she thought were disloyal. I dumped following her at her JTS moment. I don't like turncoats (can say all the same about MTG or Tucker).

Perhaps the first shark jumping event involved Brigitte Macron?

Mais oui? Sacré blue!

How can anyone take her seriously?

Completely agree.. 👍

Sad. Maybe Candace will go to rehab / get off of the drugs / shed her current associates / find Jesus / whatever it takes, to find her old self - for her own sake. Charisma kills.

Brian M's avatar

She had found Jesus (a Jew, lest we forget), but now has lost him

I will never listen to her again and I stopped the day she attacked Erika Kirk. I don't need a reason. I know, as a wife to the love of my life, what that would feel like or I can imagine. Fuck her. I hope she 🔥 metaphorically.

If, in fact, she truly is finished, that is all well and good.

However, being finished also needs to carry with it the market-driven loss of monetization of content – and as devastating as that is for most everyone else, it isn't enough. Every one she libeled, whose character she defamed, whose reputation she smeared, each ought to sue her for every last dime of net worth.

Very true. Candace has harmed many. She is vindictive and encourages her followers to join in on the online attacks and threats. She really should be held accountable and actually lose her social media platforms.

Thanks Sasha. I stay away from people as toxic as Candice Owens. So sad the pain she has caused.

Hopefully Tucker will be next

Agreed as to Data Republican!

None of these revelations in a court of law means anything to these wacko conspiracy theorists. The problem with conspiracy theorists is not that they theorize — it’s that they never stop.

A total disgrace, a disgusting snake oil salesman. Perhaps there's some mental illness here.

hermione's avatar

I agree! She seems to have totally lost herself with jealousy and hate.

Perhaps it was there all along and this episode with Charlie and Erika Kirk just snapped her.

It happens.

I watched and listened to her long ago. No more!

She's terrifying.

She needs a long time away and some very deep reflection and help to hopefully find herself again. She's doing horrific damage! Not sure it's possible.

I didn’t realize how far back Candace has used media to make a stand when she was only 17 and in HS. Also didn’t realize how many flip flops she’s done with her supposed platforms of ‘reason.’ She’s liberal when it suits; she switches to conservative when it suits; she switches back to progressive when it suits. She honestly doesn’t have a true belief. She now focuses on conspiracies and ‘I’m so close’ to keep the facade going.

I am beyond tired of Candace blaming Israel for Charlie’s death. Even that scum bucket Fuentes isn’t saying that, and he hates Israel. Owens is a soulless sociopath. May she rot in hell.

Candance Owen is going to be bankrupted by the First Lady of France.

And all this Jew hatred that has popped up recently is completely shocking to me. I get that there are a good number of Muslims and people in the Middle East who are in the Dem party, but this is still shocking to me.

I graduated from Creighton University in 1979. At that time, I can remember movies or whatever repeating the slogan, "Never again." I recall thinking, "Well, that's not going to happen again." Boy, was I wrong. Iran wants to nuke Israel and there's Jew hatred all over the US.

Charlie’s assassination was devastating even to people like me who only knew him through online clips. Arguing against leftist insanity, like the ridiculous ideology that insists that “a self-proclamation of gender” trumps biology, will get you killed. His reaction when Trump won reelection says what a great person he was—“it’s all God.” Thanks, Sasha, once again for your sanity and clarity. 💕🌹🙏

With you, Sasha, on this sad topic. CO, like carbon monoxide, is toxic to the human brain!

Paulette's avatar

Thanks Sasha, for me, you are the clearest, most authentic voice in the podcast universe.

Dorota's avatar

I don't listen to CO

I stopped listening to Tucker

I read Jenna's substance, and yesterday she posted this

I don't know how to reconcile all her points, but they are valid.

Candace is vile and I stopped following Tucker a few years ago… That said, and I say this as a tremendous fan of yours and paid subscriber, we differ on the proposed narrative. I am not implying or suggesting that I have any idea who is responsible, but I’m pretty sure it isn’t Tyler Robinson and Tyler Robinson solo. Wayyyyyyy too many holes in that story and more have popped up even since I wrote that piece two days ago! 🤷‍♀️

Theres a weird, twisted conspiracy thing among black Americans re: Jews. Is it a 'hotep' thing'? A 'real Hebrew' thing? Are those the same thing? Related? Never have understood any of it, other than another unfounded grievance

NotFromTexas's avatar

Not to send this off in a direction that has only a tangetial (at best) relationship to the topic, but an odd phenomena that I've noticed is how a seemingly and alarmingly large number of "reformed" Jews in America are self-loathing, and seem to not merely embrace cultural/political causes that not only diametrically opposed to their own self-interest (but violently so), but many would be champions of such causes.

Roger Beal's avatar

Many in the Reformed branch of American Judaism have been self-loathing / pro-socialist / lukewarm on America for at least 50 years (based on the personal observations of this 78 y/o whyte man).

What happened to her? Hate can do evil things.

Brian M's avatar

She got kicked to the curb for being a drama queen and whiner. Then she tried to undercut those who threw her overboard. She is the psycho girlfriend you should never have kissed. Watch the movie "Fatal Attraction" and you have a version of Candace, MTG and Tucker

Jen Todd's avatar

Whatever happened with the Macrons suing her? Of all the bizarre things to latch onto. Candace, MTG and Tucker have boiled their rabbit and there is no going back.

Brian M's avatar

I love this expression: "boiled the rabbit". I will start using that. Most people in the modern generations don't even understand the "Jumped the Shark" reference. It was from Happy Days and the end of its run when Fonzie was somehow water skiing in Florida and jumped a shark. Why he was in Florida and not Milwaukee, I can't even remember.

Jen Todd's avatar

You're like one of those old people that remember the Fonz...😀

Brian McMorris's avatar

Hard to believe that makes me “old”, but I guess so!

Roger Beal's avatar

"Boiled their rabbit" ... is that akin to jumping the shark? A new phrase to me.

Jen Todd's avatar

It's the scene from "Fatal Attraction" where Glenn Close's character boils the family pet in a final, desperate move to "win back" her obsession's love. Of course, it didn't work out so well for her. It actually reminds me a lot of the sad Trump obsession where there seems to be no limit to the lengths one will go on behalf of its perversion.

ThePossum 🇬🇧's avatar

I call women like Candace "Bunny Boilers" in honor of the Alex Forrest character played by Glenn Close.

Jen Todd's avatar

Or maybe that scene was more like, "I'm a crazy bitch and if I can't have you, nobody will."

What I was thinking... where she (Alex) pulls out the butcher knife in the kitchen and threatens Dan (Michael Douglas).

Gluten freedom's avatar

Trump obsession? You mean people who support a Pres who puts America first?

Exactly right.
