Sounds like it might be over, a warning that spat in the face of Joe Biden. Very bad look for our government to have warned Iran not to do something and they went ahead and did it as a show of force.

I don’t think it was meant as an insult to Biden. He’s just completely irrelevant. Israel hit Iran hard with its strike in Damascus. Biden had probably already told Israel to surrender to Hamas and Iran. Who cares? Then Iran had to retaliate with a mid-level attack, so it did. Anything Biden said or didn’t say was of no importance to anyone. Iran didn’t intend to provoke Israel by causing a lot of deaths, and it didn’t. Everyone had several hours to seek shelter. And now Iran has saved face.

Iran had to do something like this to retaliate for the Damascus strike. Which was interesting. Drones identified several upper-level military commanders entering the same building, reportedly to plan an upcoming terrorist operation. Authorization for the strike was given very quickly, outside regular channels, as it was an unexpected opportunity to kill several upper and several lower level commanders. But that meant retaliation from Iran was inevitable. I hope everyone at risk has taken shelter. Iran has already said that that’s all for this round.

Israel attacked Iran a month ago so that Iran would retaliate and give the excuse for a broader war to get more US funding and US troops on the ground. This gets us more complicit in the slaughter of Palestinians. Notice too that those calling for US to send troops are cowards who never joined the military themselves. Some drones are equipped with missiles and bombs. The US has been using them for twenty years at least.

I'd divide drones into 4 groups:

1. Complex drones that can map targets, attack them with bombs or missiles and do electronic warfare, like Israel's Hermes 900 or IAI Heron-TP

2. Loitering drones fired at a battle area and which then use machine learning to identify targets on their own and crash into them and explode, like IAI Harop

3. Drones that only collect intelligence, like Israel's Orbiter family

4. Simple drones with explosives that crash into a preassigned target.

Iran's Shahed drones are all in the 4th group.

Glenn says Israel bombed the Iranian embassy in Damascus to start a war with them which they knew would then bring America into their war in the Middle East. So why do we have to go to war against Russia and Iran to protect the borders of Ukraine and Israel while our borders are wide open and people, mostly military age young men that we know nothing at all about, pour in by the thousands every day?

Glenn says this is disastrous for America so why are we doing this? Because this is what our ruling class wants, that’s why. So now our rulers are waging a war internally on Trump/MAGA, externally on Putin/Russia, this newest war will be against Iran/Hamas/Yemen and Syria plus from there it will escalate to a global WW3 which will bring down our entire global civilization. And all because the criminally insane pigs who rule us are obsessed with destroying those who oppose them. This is why I believe humanity, in group terms, is too stupid and too dysfunctional to survive. God only knows where we’ll all end up.

The Iranian regime has been at war with Israel, the United States, and the West roughly since the Ayatollah overthrew the Shah of Iran. It is not a war that Israel has chosen. It is a war that has been thrust upon it by a regime of genocidal maniacs.

Thirty years after the fact the Court of Cassation in Buenos Aires issued a ruling blaming Iran for bombing the Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina—a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires—on July 18, 1994, using its terrorist proxy Hezbollah. The attack left 85 dead and more than 300 wounded. The court called it a crime against humanity.

There's a whole lot more than that. Israel has been engaged in activities against Iran and Syria for some time. It goes back to 1979 when the Carter Administration helped the Ayatollah Khomeini return to Iran from exile in France. (Although he was officially flown back in a civilian airliner, the rumor is that he was taken back in a USAF C-141.) Previously, Iran and Israel had good relations and the Shah of Iran and Sadat of Egypt had brokered peace. That all fell apart with Khomeini then Sadat was assassinated. I'm not a big Wikipedia fan but this article gives a pretty good account of all of the events since that period - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iran%E2%80%93Israel_proxy_conflict. In short, it's not new.

They have been used extensively by Russia and Ukraine reports shooting down over 90% in some attacks. Israel, with much more sophisticated air defenses, should do better.

These are the minimal response Iran can give that allows it to claim it attacked Israel but without causing much damage. Usually Russia has used these drone as decoys to distract air defenses from its ballistic missiles.

Are we already in a civil war? The editors of Real Clear Politics believe we are and I very much agree with them. On his first day in office that stinking pig in the White House issued an Executive Order to replace meritocracy, considered racist due to its “disparate impact” on blacks, wherever it could be found with Equity aka Equal Outcomes. Are you happy now that your despicably evil democrats are even dumbing down medical schools for the sake of “Equity”? May God curse criminally insane fanatics like you and your hate whitey friends for destroying this once great nation.

“Editor’s Note: America is at war. This is not a traditional war, fought on a battlefield against an external enemy. It is a civilizational conflict against an internal enemy: the group quota regime, a revolutionary threat that seeks to reorganize American society around the principle of outcome equality — what the regime’s partisans call “equity.”

“This cold civil war may go unnoticed by many day-to-day, but its stakes are often as high as life and death. Here, Roger B. Cohen, a celebrated oncologist and professor in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, explains how the group quota regime has taken hold of the American medical education system and asks urgent questions about the consequences for medicine, for the sick, and for the country.”

Israel has always considered itself in a state of war with those who don’t accept that God gave that land to the Jews 2500 years ago so it belongs to them and those who object are just Jew haters. Most Jews in Israel, whether religious or secular, are Zionists who believe that the land belongs to them, whether for religious or secular reasons. This is why it’s such an impossible situation.

Get ready -

Congress and the president authorize a draft: The president claims a crisis has occurred which requires more troops than the volunteer military can supply. Congress passes and the president signs legislation which revises the Military Selective Service Act to initiate a draft for military manpower.

The lottery: A lottery based on birthdays determines the order in which registered men are called up by Selective Service. The first to be called, in a sequence determined by the lottery, will be men whose 20th birthday falls during the calendar year the induction takes place, followed, as needed, by those aged 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 19, and 18 (in that order).

All parts of the Selective Service System are activated: The agency activates and orders its state directors and Reserve Force officers to report for duty.

Physical, mental and moral evaluation of registrants: Registrants with low lottery numbers receive examination orders and are ordered to report for a physical, mental, and moral evaluation at a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) to determine whether they are fit for military service. Once he is notified of the results of the evaluation, a registrant will be given 10 days to file a claim for exemption, postponement, or deferment
