I don't know you, Sasha and I don't know Jasper, but I love you both. That little boy is lucky to have you and you are lucky to have him.

Sweet Jesus. So happy to hear about his recovery. Yes, prayers can work in many ways, including dogs.

Dogs are the best! Period! Never stop sharing news about them!

No, No, No! Do not stop talking about your dogs. I prayed for Jasper in church this past Sunday and will keep praying. Love you, Sasha.

Great news. These little creatures deserve all the love we can give them because they love us unconditionally. Can't imagine life without them. Prayers definitely answered.

Not for nothin'... my heart ached when Jack passed away. I'm not kidding.

I thought it was a great idea on your part to adopt Jasper. My wife & I cried every night for 3 months when we lost our Ruby, but then adopted Kerry as a pup.

NOTHING will ever diminish your connection to Jack, just as bringing Kerry into our lives takes nothing away from our memories of Ruby.

I think... just think... that in this illness, Jasper became YOUR DOG now. Not a panacea, not a replacement; he's your dog now. Just like Jack was.

Kerry is now MY DOG.

Both you and I are blessed.

Thank you Jesus & the lady that helped you, & thank you to you too for not giving up on Jasper. You're my kind of people. I have 6 dogs ❤️🙏🏼❤️

As part of wishing Jasper well, Ms. Stone, perhaps the following would be of interest: our Labrador was 13 and began to show signs of rapid decline. We switched her diet to raw, at home raw, not commercial or freeze dried. Chopped meat an 80%, chicken, turkey and balanced with liver, tripe, pumpkin, fish oil, powdered egg shell, and blueberries. Her symptoms cleared within several weeks and she lived another vibrant 6 1/2 years. Our prayers are with Jasper and you.

Oh no! Pemphigus is rough. Keep a very tight eye on him, as flare ups can happen regularly. Inspect his crevices (like on paws) regularly. We had a cat patient at my clinic that lived with it for about 8 years but it finally spread to her feet and she became unable to walk.

Also know that in a pinch, you can call care credit (or have the vet do it) to request a credit increase. They have done it many times for clients for immediate use. It's an awesome company.

Also, request a vaccine exemption for him since this is an autoimmune disorder. His little immune system is working overtime!

It is a manageable issue, but takes a lot of diligence and medication.

Happy news on Jasper. Hope he continues to improve.

Be mindful of the CareCredit bill. It's deferred interest. They love the gotcha of sticking you with all of the deferred interest if the balance isn't paid in full by the deferred interest term. And the rate is insane, like 39.99%. Happened to my daughter with her cat who had ER surgery vet bills while in college.

Oh my goodness, his poor fuzzy little face. No wonder you were so worried. Thank you for the update; I'm glad you found an effective treatment. And I won't disclose the amount I spent to treat one of my dogs who had cancer. He was also too young to give up on him without a fight. People spend far more money on far more asinine things than vet bills. Blessings to you and a long happy life to Jasper.
