Businessmen want the cheap labor and the left wants the votes and organizing manpower. In Trump term II, he is directly attacking the financial flows to his political enemies with a lot more precision and effectiveness than Trump I could muster. 4 years in the wilderness allowed Team Trump to analyze and understand how the Left is financed. Shutting down USAID was a master-stroke. Globalism is big business, and Trump is going for its jugular vein.
