Great news! Matt and Walter seemed to fall apart during the Minneapolis whistle-mom protests of ICE. Walter was solidly on the side of ICE whereas Matt was more sympathetic to the whistle-moms and dildo-dads. The Don Lemon pulled his stunt during the church service and that seemed to be the last straw where Matt thought Lemon should be covered under the 1st Amendment and Walter was avidly on the side of the church.
Anyway, thanks for the heads-up. I'm looking forward to hearing them together again.
Thank you for sharing this! Do I need to renew my subscription to Racket to see this? There is a hole in my life left when they quit their podcast. Honestly, did not know what to do with Friday and Monday evenings. I learned so much history and other things listening to them!
Sasha - please hang in and keep your spirits up. If it helps at all, you have become my replacement for Matt and Walter; I check in daily to see what you've come up with ever since ATW abruptly disappeared. They were an epic duo, indeed, and you are no slouch yourself!
Chemistry is hard to define; it's that certain "something" that makes people better together than they might be on their own. Hopefully Matt and Walter have learned that they have lightning in a bottle. and it is very special.
I am getting very tired of xxx "are expected to" .... Expected = polls. We all know the polls are heavily slanted toward Dems, partly to discourage Reps from showing up to vote and partly to make a cheated election look legit. Conservative/classic commentators should not approve or abet either of those goals.
We all have dark days, Sasha. How can we not with the constant negative banter of the leftist media? I know deep in my soul that we are on the right side of history. We need to be sure our children and grandchildren have a free country to live in. I will keep praying for a November miracle, if you will keep writing your amazing, truthful podcasts. You are the best and so very much loved and appreciated.
Yay! I wonder if they will address the band breaking up? My guess is that Matt always tries and wants to be a neutral arbiter of fact based journalism and Walter was always leaning towards a more traditional/conservative viewpoint. Matt saw himself being influenced by Walter's reasoning and hated taking a side on things, even if it was well reasoned and thoughtful (which I truly believe Walter was/is)
Matt even said "even if I lose my audience and all the money I just never want to give "my take" on current events again! I hate it that much."
Simpler way to put it is that it was becoming more the Walter Kirn Show and Matt grabbed his basketball and said "screw you guys! I'm goin' home!" 😆
