In reality, Tucker Carlson never took the stand and testified in the Dominion lawsuit case against Fox News at any point. What actually did happen was that Fox News' legal defense team argued in court that Carlson was providing provocative commentary on his show and not sober, fact-based reporting, and the presiding judge in the case agreed with this argument.
Both major parties were established by the same type of people (collectivists who hate our Constitutional Republic), in order to divide and conquer us. George Washington warned of these "factions" as he called them.

We have a few receptionists who answer the phones and when someone is on hold, there is actually no music ( we aren't tech-savy enough to know how to add that) but our patients really appreciate that real people answer the phone and call them back

In my view, that is putting lipstick on a pig -- I got to talk nicely with a human who told me that Apple (not the person with whom I was speaking) wants me to pound sand. So Apple better than some, but not nearly as good as Amazon and has definite frustrating places.
My experience is with the chat and support for my devices—phone, watch iPad and laptop. It looks like using Apple Pay is not the same, and appreciably worse, if I understand what you are describing.
(Not to be that guy - but you should change your substack login ID / pw, as well as all your other accounts. Use a password manager, like Bitwarden. Let it generate impossible to hack meaningless passwords. It's a hassle, but once you do it for all your accounts, it's not hard to maintain. I've been there with hacked accounts, it's no fun!)

If I may suggest, one lesson all of us should take from your losing access to priceless irreplaceable personal videos is the need for backups in multiple locations that you completely control such as iCloud, Dropbox, and a personal drive.
We live in California. Given wildfires and earthquakes no one here should just trust local in-home personal storage. Your house in Topanga was too close to last year's Palisades fire for your comfort. So you really also should avail yourself of cheap easy to use online cloud options.
Great but the ONLY thing that you mention that you control is your personal, physical drive. If it's REALLY important, then a thumb drive that is physically off line. Sometimes ya gotta go full Luddite. (Which I suppose would actually be paper...)
Clearly storing on any personal drive gives you complete control. Also it is fairly cheap. Unfortunately this approach leaves your data security dependent on the physical security of where you store that personal drive. In the event of a fire or an earthquake your device may be destroyed. Hence my recommendation for multiple redundant storage locations where you control access. Doing this is cheap, easy, and lets you sleep at night. :-)
One more point: The information stored at those multiple locations will only be as good as you make it. So concerned people also must adopt good data management practices to insure that those multiple storage locations are kept current.

Sorry to hear this. Larry Schweikart just had his X account hijacked by a crypto spammer for a second time. I tried to report the issue but the X contact interface is limited and rigid and none of the options fit “This account is not mine but it has clearly been hijacked.”
I think YouTube, Reddit, and more are to some degree still stuck in the woke/DEI/USAID/Biden era, thinking they are fighting “misinformation” and “hate speech” by suppressing and silencing anyone opposed to the left. They don’t understand that everything changed with Trump’s reelection. The Biden-era funding and directing of censorship is over, never to return. The DOJ now (correctly) views such actions as civil rights violations. There haven't been indictments yet for past offenses, but there might well be. Some progressive/woke true believers are still be making decisions at YouTube etc., but without the government approval and backing they used to have. Their future power is questionable.
Congress needs to get off its collective lying, bribed and blackmailed butt and do its Constitutional duty by serving the People. Otherwise none of these changes will stick and then next White House occupant may reverse it all.

I HATE being at the mercy of social media companies. In an instant, they can shadowban you, suspend you or permanently delete your account. And it’s impossible to reach someone who can actually help! No mercy. (Presently, I’m being shadowbanned by IG and FB, and maybe even Substack.)🤔

Have you tried tagging Elon? I've been banned from X, since it was Twitter, in Jan 2021, and they have flat out stated that I will never be getting my account back. It is very frustrating.
During Covid Amazon deleted all my film reviews and banned me from posting there ever again. Fortunately I survived on IMDB.
Amazon did some sort of presto-chango whereby all the book reviews got "rebooted." Didn't even get the pleasure of being banned.
