They should have listened to me June 6, 2007, at the American Securitization Forum annual meeting (Grand Hyatt NYC) when I told the attendees that the RMBS market was going to collapse.
The people that did listen, and saved the wealth of their investors, were not JDs or MBAs from Harvard. The latter had to go to Congress for a bailout.

I actually read Big Mike's master's thesis (pitiful). I'll give her credit, she's probably only one standard deviation below the average IQ unlike many of her Demoncat peers in Congress who could't break 80 on an IQ test. I challenge anyone to post a pic of her pregnant.
It is worth noting that the part of Ukraine where the language is more Russian than Ukrainian is nearly the same as the parts of Ukraine where either 1) the climate goes from being sub-humid ("the feather-grass steppe") to semi-arid, and 2) the land was so far east that it was, inevitably, under the control of Turkic steppe-nomads. Those limits set the limit as to how far E and S Ukrainians could really go. The reason that Russian spread S into Turkic territory (including Crimea) is, of course, that the Russians conquered areas once under Turkic control. A good part of what the Russians object to is that Ukraine has in effect become Greater Ukraine: incorporating areas that are not historically or geographically Ukrainian.
Linguistic side-note: all those /d-n/ river names (Danube, Dniester, Dnipro, Don) involve the Iranian word for 'water'. Ukraine spent roughly 1000 years (about 750 B.C. to 250 A.D.) under Iranian control. The people were sometimes referred to as "White Scythians", "Scythians" being the first Iranians to gain control of that area.
The Ken Paxton situation - the Texas situation - makes me very nervous in how Soros is destroying the state with very little money. That, in conjunction with the RINO's(W and Rove) and their oil cartels, give us assholes like John Cornyn furthering our destruction.
John McCain(all the RINO's) was besties with George Soros and his wife still collaborates with Alex Soros... Tells a painful story.
Longtime Texan here. Ken Paxton is a complete slime ball and has been for the three decades I’ve known (about) him. He might be getting this border wall issue right, but that hardly atones for the rest of his sins.
Politicians are a different breed. The power corrupts, and the percentage of corruption varies per politician. But, since I have to choose an imperfect politician, I choose Paxton for being egotistical enough to stand up to Soros-led philosophies. We need him. And Trump. And other narcissistic-like personalities, or whatever pejorative descriptions people use, to change our direction. Go Paxton!
I think the difference in working class vs “Elite” is not education (which is what Elites say), it’s the boot strapping factor. Wealthy people who boot-strapped their way up are conservatives. Wealthy who were GIVEN advantages are Liberal. And, like Paxton said, both parties still don’t want to antagonize their neighbors, so real truths remain unspoken in order to get along with peers.

Paxton identified everything missing in government now. It’s COURAGE. Not saying I have it, but I’m rooting for courageous people.
