I regret subscribing to The Free Press. It’s a bit lighter version of the NYT

Yeah she tries to be centrist but deep down it's just another establishment voice.

The problem is that most people fail to understand that the fertilized egg is the beginning of a genetically individual human being that shares the same genome with the embryo, fetus, infant, and adult that it grows into. If this recognition occurred to our congresscritters, they'd do the right thing and pass legislature that would make a crime against a human being the same regardless of where in its life cycle it occurred.

Indeed. Human life technically begins at conception. Killing the child after that moment is killing a living human.

I wouldn't use the word "technically" because human life begins naturally at conception. :-)

Using technical makes the doctors look smarter than they are after medical school.

I’ll steel myself to hear this, because truth is everything. In the meantime, in the spirit of doing SOMETHING to fight against this American travesty : https://preborn.com/. They provide free ultrasounds to women & save many lives by providing potential mothers with proof of life.

Congress should pass legislation requiring it on the first consultation regarding any pregnancy.

If they want to make something free, it should be a pelvic exam and rape kit within the days before the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, to prevent the need for post-implantation intervention.

I’ll watch on TCN. No youtube commercials. Everyone should join the TuckerCarlsonNetwork.com. It’s cheaper than most Substack subscriptions

Human life begins at conception and the human has a soul in the image of Jesus Christ at that very moment. Killing that human in the womb or outside the womb is equally murder of a human. All humans are equal in the eyes of Jesus whether in the womb or outside it. Nazis killed 300,000 handicapped people in the hospital; Pro-choice is no different. Sorry for the hard but rational truth.

But then that always leaves us with the question of what to do with all these women who’ve committed murder. If they’re murderers they should be charged and held accountable. It’s just one of the many reasons why America is such a dysfunctional society. Too many areas where we lack a common reality and therefore can’t function as a country.

Are you familiar with the well known phrase “The more things change the more they stay the same”?

I never heard of that one. I think you just made it up now so that people will think you’re a sophisticated and smart person.

additional clarification: false diagnosis, misdiagnosis resulting in termination of life. The female child or adult or the family unit and/or parent is misled into destroying a child because of a misdiagnosis, and, if scientific evidence does not exist (ie no formal records), then the argument accusing the state licensed physician of medical malpractice is limited to the layperson v expert.

"trust the experts..." is moral equivalent of Tim Walz using emotional blackmail (hiding behind a feigned "mask of innocence").

And for anyone as an adult suffered or was misled because of a false diagnosis, or received "botched" care as a result of a failure of proper scientific verification -often times referred to as a second "opinion" --just imagine the power the state can wield over an individual in such subjective scenarios --and this regardless of their gender or sex or procedure. let alone terminating a pregnancy for a minor child. ethics ...just some thoughts.
