America needs so many more Thoams Massie's, MTG's and Rand Pauls's. The U.S .proxy war in Ukraine is an utter failure. They and NATO are like weightlifters flexing their muscles and puffing up their chests, while the Russians are like streetfighters, and a strretfighter can handle a dumbbell dope any day of the week. Think about it, Ukraine has lost close to half a million fighting men thrown into a meat grinder all the while the gutless neocon armchair warriors are egging them on from a safe distance knowing full well thay they nor thier sons and duaghters will never be sacrificed like these poor souls. Massie is right, the insane funding will continue, the military indistrial comples and their greedy buddies in DC meed to make even more money on the backs of young lives and for that matter middle aged. Massie is a true hero and notice he ia an engineer, not another dime a dozen lawyer who could not make it in private practice.

NATO doesn’t exist in reality. No one fights. No one pays. No one dies. No one gets shot up. No one comes home in body bags, or with no arms and legs. Except American farm boys and factory workers. NATO, the entire thing is a scam. They are just a bunch of bloodsucking useless leeches, parasites on the American taxpayers. Times up folks. Defend yourself, with no help from Americans. Right now, not next week.

In a related matter, the US Navy was providing defense for the ships of 12 different nations from the Yemen insurgents supported by Iran. Do not these other nations have navies? Why are we being globocop?

The waste being spent with no audits is absurd. Billions still going to Afghanistan. WTH Billions still being pledged for Ukraine. WTH All while our infrastructure is ignored, but foreign countries receiving billions to fund their pensions and salaries. WTH Next time DC starts crying about SS running out, how about funding our own country’s pensions. SS is a pension for many. Sadly, SS was supposed to help retirees, not be the sole pension, but many have relied upon it. Then we learn US has only 4 meat processors and one is owned by China and another owned by Brazil! This should be unlawful. China also buying up huge amounts of farmland; again, this should be unlawful.

The audits would find grand grift theft and the NYT, WAPO and CNN would report its all been out to good use. Grifters aren’t going to give up a gig worth trillions of taxpayer dollars.

"Throwing good money after bad" (If our money still qualifies as "good"...) The sooner the Ukrainians give up, the better off they will be. If they ask for negotiations a week before their front line seems likely to collapse, the Russians might as well Just Say No. I am dubious about MacGregor's claim that the Russians don't really want Ukraine back in Mother Russia. Guerilla wars do not work well in open plains, and the Ukrainians are in any event running out of men. Taking over the whole country (except, hopefully, the part on the other side of the Carpathians) would solve the problem of making sure that the rump of Ukraine never joins NATO. It would also give Russia much secure borders, making them much less likely to get all paranoid and aggressive. I suspect there is a secret deal to return Belorussia to Mother Russia when Lukashenko is gone. (Belorussian is even more similar to Great Russian.)

And what is lost? The Ukrainians have to adjust their dialect in the direction of Great Russian. Was avoiding that "fate" worse than losing half a million men? I venture to doubt it.

The oligarchs and those collecting salaries for the phantom police/soldiers will be long gone. Along with Mr Z. Classic mafia grifting.

There won't be many left to get abused by the conquerors. Someone will have to be left alone to grow the grain, tend the pipelines, etc. Or move to Poland.

I wonder when America will realise that the Second Civil War has been in operation for at least seven years.

I predict 2024 will see the first shots fired because of gutless, criminals in the Republican Party...and so called friends of Republicans media.

Somehow we are going to have to figure out how to reintegrate Russia and Ukraine back into the world economy. They simply have too many resources to keep them isolated either by war or sanctions. So end the war where it now stands and neutralize Ukraine. End the sanctions. Rebuild Ukraine to repair the damage. And yes the US should pay part of the price of this since we provoked the war along with the EU. But the EU and the UK need to pony up too as they are culpable.

No we dont. Its none of our business. Ukraine is a Russian province. Let them govern themselves. Ukraine and the Crimea have been part of the Russian empire since Vladimir the Great unified the Kievan Rus one thousand years ago. It is literally NONE of our business.

The world economy is part of our business and we should help to restore that. I keep noticing the inflation and shortages. I suspect it would be worse in the Third World. It is definitely worse in Europe but that is on them.

The Ukraine war largely exists because the WEF and their armed wing (NATO) wants to loot the resources of Russia. They got a lot during the Yeltsin years but Putin on-shored the looting. In so far as the sanctions work at all, they are screwing up the world economy. I argue that stopping that is minding our own business.

Bullsnort. Putin asked the Mayor of Moscow’s wife to pay $3M to Hunter Biden, for what exactly? Cash money. Biden takes cash money from ALL of our enemies. Especially Communist China and the Ukraine. Why is this?

Please learn some actual history and stop embarrassing yourself.

Ukraine, Belarus, and Moldova are ancient Russia.

Poland and Lithuania kicked out the Mongols in the 15th century after 250 years of mongol rule, the Golden Hoard.

In most elections I hold my nose and vote AGAINST whoever I believe will do more damage to the public good. However, I'm both pleased and proud to say that in the cases of my Representative, Thomas Massie, and of one of my two Senators, Rand Paul, I can vote FOR them with joy, enthusiasm, and a clear conscience.
