It is a lazy ad hominem to label Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon antisemitic for raising the legitimate concerns shared by many, MANY Trump voters. Just like the “Putin lover” attack on people who simply wanted accountability and transparency by Zelensky, remember? Or labeling those who opposed lockdowns as “grandma killers!” BE VERY SUSPICIOUS of people who do this.

Trump ran on America First, no more “forever wars.” Now, Lindsay Graham, BiBi Netanyahu et al are trying to goad Trump into a full on war with Iran. We have a right to question our leaders and be suspicious of those too quick to attack people who do.

Don’t be lured by promises of quick victory. Iran signed security agreements with Russia and China- which practically guarantee this conflict will only protract, not end quickly.

Think. Graham is not a trusted agent- he’s an entrenched establishment. Why would anyone suddenly trust him?

So many people risked everything to support Trump and his agenda. Many list friends, careers, stable income, even family to do so. Carlson is one of them.

We have to be able to be constructively critical of Trump when he’s clearly getting bad advice, and at the very least, refrain from attacking those who are. Use good arguments, not ad hominem.

There is no talk of "boots on the ground" and there is no reason to since Israel is destroying all the military targets from the air. The only thing they need help with are the deeply underground nuclear weapon production facilities. It is in America's defensive interest to destroy that production. No one needs to go on the ground. No one needs to die. All the local inhabitants have been warned to flee

Brian M, were you around when Bush 1 said ‘no new taxes’? Do you recall what happened in the next cycle?

If Trump willingly commits US forces to offensive operations in Iran, the MAGA coalition will likely break up.

I agree w/ Bannon that a break up of MAGA would be very much welcomed by the deep state. It doesn’t take too much of a mind leap to think Netanyahu’s ‘timing’ is quite sus and perhaps goaded on by our deep state, in attempt to undermine Trump/MAGA progress on immigration and economic re shoring fronts.

Certainly the eyes of the nation have now been diverted away from the very important Fed vs. State immigration power struggle in California, and cast our gaze instead to the ‘sudden need’ to slay an overseas monster.

Yeah but it is important to get definitions straight. To be a false flag, it has to be a case of pretending to be someone else. An example would be the German attack on their own radio station in 1939, leaving behind a few dead convicts dressed in Polish uniforms. Reichstag Fire is another example, probably. Soviets were very good at this and lured a lot of Ukrainian Nazis to their deaths. CW1 in Missouri had a lot of this too on both sides. Even if Tonkin was a real attack, it would have been real Vietnamese not fake ones. LBJ took advantage of a USN screw up to jump in. Or maybe he actually believed it. I doubt the Deep State was any more honest with him than they were with Trump. Sachs in the other interview says the CIA has never been loyal to any President.

We've already watched the US fail to contain North Korea's nuclear weapons, and they're no longer a joke and can hit the US. This moron wants the same outcome, having a warmongering Islamist regime with a nuke, whose openly declared main enemy is the US?

That’s super logical!

Maybe the DNI is the one who is on pattern - lying about Iran having no intentions for nuclear weapons as she previously lied about Assad and lied about Putin’s intentions for Ukraine. Seems like being an asset of the Russia-Iran axis is hardly new for her. Nothing says patriotism like ass kissing to the country that talks nonstop about destroying Big Satan America and is behind the deaths of thousands of US soldiers, diplomats and civilians. Right! 70% of Iran hates their totalitarian religiously fanatic regime. We love those guys, and that's why Israel isn't attacking Iranian civilians, it's going after the IRGC death cult.

Why do you think Israel has such fantastic intelligence? Iranians are the ones providing it happily to topple their murderous regime. Iranians acted as Mossad commandos taking out mobile ballistic missile launchers and anti-aircraft units.

The DNI simply is a retarded loser who is on the side of the enemies of the US, every single time. People who care about Iranians don't abandon them to be attacked, tortured and executed by a totalitarian regime for decades. Obama betrayed Iran's Green Movement. Biden abandoned the Woman, Life, Freedom movement. Draw your own conclusions.

Brian M's avatar

I wonder how many people understand that. There seems to be a lot of wonder around the idea Israel has a bunch of "Mossad" agents inside Iran. No mystery at all. You are right, most of the Iranian people oppose the leadership. I have Iranian friends who left in the 70s and 80s. They detest the leadership. There are many Iranian Jews living in Israel. So do they (and they also can go back under cover and connect with old friends, speak the language flawlessly, look Iranian, and so on). Who here remembers their Old Testament, or the Torah, if Jewish? The oldest continuous Jewish community on the planet is in Iran (or was), the historical Persia. It was Cyrus the Great, in 550 BC, who rescued the Jewish people from the Babylonians (in the book of Esther, which is associated with the Jewish holiday Purim) and then helped return them to Israel and rebuilt the Temple in Jerusalem (well before the life of Jesus). Persia was ALWAYS a good friend of the Jews, until 1979. It is not hard today to find Iranian Jews to help with the intelligence gathering.

I trust the intelligence of the country that has killed the IRGC head, the Iranian chief of staff (twice), the vice chief of staff, the head of the intelligence directorate, the head of the aerospace research, the head of the air force.

You'll have to explain how Israel has immaculate intelligence on the IRGC and Iran's religious leadership, yet somehow no real idea that Iran is rushing to a nuke, especially when the IAEA has confirmed that Iran is hiding the extent of its enrichment activities.

A country with energy costs that are 1% of the US doesn't need an energy nuclear program. It has a nuclear weapons program, nothing else. As for "proof", no country ever in the history of the world has revealed how it gets its intelligence, so stop being ridiculous. This isn't a "gotcha".

He is now attacking the libertarian right, his old base, and that is the base of the new GOP, the "MAGA" party (that succeeded the old GOP, which were the neocons). Tucker sees no reason EVER to oppose any other country on the planet. That is just stupid. There are countries who want our demise and will work to get it. We SHOULD defend ourselves by taking out existential threats like nuclear weapons development with a commitment to use it unilaterally against us. We should not try to fix every country in the world to look just like ours, i.e. install western democracy ala the Bush neocons. And we should not put our heads in the sand, Tucker style, and ignore the threat.

“Trump was asked on Tuesday about Gabbard's testimony in March in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee, where she said Iran was not building a nuclear weapon.”

“When pressed about Gabbard's comments, Trump dismissed them.”

Iran is an intractable problem but Israel is taking care of the worst problem for reasons of their own. Tucker's guests make a lot of good historical points about the Deep State but the fundamental problem is Europe. Their active sabotage is why Trump has not been able to get a peace deal in Ukraine or Gaza. I suspect that if the Israeli-Iran war doesn't fizzle we will see th same pattern. We don't have any particular need to be involved but Europe has vital economic interests and no capacity to defend them. The regimes there are in alliance with the Deep State and they conspire to undermine Trump. We need a comprehensive break. Trade on our term but no alliance.
