The lesson on this one is the Left trying to condition rights on beliefs. Preview of coming attractions.

...I'm in a little nation called New Zealand in a far corner of the world....

This has challenged the narrative I heard and absorbed three years ago...

The unfree press and their little sound bytes that pack a huge punch...

..."vigilante", "white supremacist"....

There's something going on with the popular media using these hashtag-able words.

For me personally at the moment I'm particularly triggered by the words "apartheid", "ethnic cleansing" and "genocide".... entirely different context of course: unrelated subject matter;

but the way the popular media uses these words to preface their populist position, and to inflame swathes of people to adopt reactionary positions. I am learning to select my media carefully.

Thank you Sasha

To many people throw words around (genocide...RINO Republican In Name Only, apartheid, etc) without Really knowing what they are talking about. ie Israel is committing genocide is real popular no. FACT IF Israel Really wanted to commit genocide, by now here would not be any Living Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. If A Republican has a ACU lifetime rating above (say)70 they may be many things (often wrong IMO) the one thing they are NOT is a RINO.

Words have meanings, and the use of them should correlate to Reality.

Still happy I contributed to the defense fund. It should be noted that he also showed up to clean up the graffiti (video of that too) and that he brought his EMT kit. As I recall, he was trained but waiting for his 18th birthday to be certified. He was involved in treating people without regard to their politics. Good kid.

Considering American college are nothing but indoctrination camps, it's just as well Kyle never went. I wish him all the luck in the world. Shocking and shameful that the NRA didn't support him.

"Kyle Rittenhouse exercised the most basic right of all: the right to self-defense. And he’s still being punished for it."

Funny how that he is being punished for it. Not. Sooo many people have given up time in their lives to support Constitutional rights for you all. Honor it. Like Sasha is doing.

BTW - If you do not like Tucka's videos you shouldn't need Sasha's warning; just don't watch them and continue to be ignorant.

Actually if you don't like/agree with Tucker, THAT s why you should watch. Waaay to many people only watch/read sources they agree with. What I have noticed is people on The Left don't really know What we Really Say and Why we say it. ts not that they are stupid (well no more so than The Right) its that they are Ignorant.

“He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them. But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion... Nor is it enough that he should hear the opinions of adversaries from his own teachers, presented as they state them, and accompanied by what they offer as refutations. He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them...he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.”

I try to watch/read other viewpoints in both articles and the comments sections, but invariably get frustrated and annoyed by the sheer laziness of their reasoning, the lies they believe to be true and the absolutely backwards thinking that they engage in. They truly believe the BS they spout.... Crazy Town!

It is possible for someone on The Right not to know What the Left Really Says and Why they Say it. But man its gotta be HARD.

The bubble phenomena has long been a thing with the Left. I am seeing it start to be a thing on the Right too which will not be to our benefit. The quality of what right-wing media there is has sharply deteriorated. I tend to attribute it to the pernicious influence of Salem Media but it may be just a siege mentality. I see it in the comments too. This is why I am increasingly migrating to the Substack ecosystem.

If anybody still believes big media's lies about this young man, they should go back and watch his actual trial. Big media found it convenient to push a certain narrative about him.

Funny how the riots stopped. I wonder why the news media does celebrate one of Biden's greatest accomplishments. Joe Biden has stopped white cops from kill black people. I haven't seen one news story about white cops shooting blacks and NO RIOTS! I guess Black Lives Matter only when the White Liberal Media says so.

You mean Trump. The "Republicans" talk a good talk but once in power just just do what the Democrats would have done anyways.

I agree. It is disgraceful that a few rich and power people exploited actual real human tragedy to affect the election and punish Americans for electing Trump in the first place. All the riots were about were to scare an already freaking out society due the covid. Whoever these people are, they need to brought to justice.
