None of the information on the laptop has shown that Biden was involved in Hunter’s business dealings, and during an attempt to impeach Biden, the investigation led by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer was UNABLE TO VERIFY any involvement.

Fox was the only network that was about equal in its favorable vs. unfavorable coverage of Trump, hence balanced, although the specific non-news shows are generally right leaning. And contrary to the triggered leftists complaining about Brett Baier's interview of Khameleon being unfair, for which she was 15 minutes late, and her handlers cut the interview to no doubt minimize the damage by not allowing her to complete her last combative word salad response, Baier's interview with Trump was equally hard hitting! While I still watch certain Fox shows, I would surmise I like many others with some level of discernment have and continue to expand the sourcing of our information to include other independent alternatives. Nonetheless, while I often find myself disagreeing with Fox's handling of certain stories, it's far, far less than the rest of MSM.

I thought 2 years was too long to spend on the investigation, although the “answer to Repub prayers”, John Durham, spent 3-1/2 years investigating the origins of the FBI investigation into Russian collusion in 2016. In that time, Durham indicted three men; an FBI lawyer who pleaded guilty to altering an email in a June 2017 application for a surveillance warrant on a former Trump campaign aide; he was sentenced to probation. The other two men were tried and acquitted. Although Durham criticized the FBI, he did not uncover the “crime of the century” as Trump suggested, and did not recommend any changes in how the FBI handles politically charged investigations.
The FBI was already investigating Hunter Biden when he dropped off his laptop for repairs in April 2019. Eventually, the FBI learned about the abandoned device and took possession of it along with a hard drive that contained some material recovered from the device. They also obtained material stored by Apple, the contents of Hunter Biden’s iCloud account.
The NYPost obtained a copy of the hard drive, made by the owner of the repair shop, John Paul Mac Isaac. He’d tipped off the FBI about the device and, as the 2020 election neared without word of any federal investigation, contacted Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani who gave it to the NY Post after offering it to Fox. There was also evidence, though, that the material on the hard drive that went from Giuliani to the NY Post was moved around with some information added. Even Mac Isaac warned that material being attributed to “the laptop” was not on the laptop when he undertook the file recovery process. So there were two copies of the hard drive, one held by the FBI and the other obtained by Giuliani.
Due to prior Russian influence campaigns during the 2016 election, such as the release of documents obtained by Russian cyber-attacks of the Democratic National Committee, the MSM and intelligence officials were suspicious of a possible disinformation campaign by Russian intelligence. Also Giuliani had met with a person later confirmed to be a Russian agent. The NY Post ran the story in Oct, 2020 as a late “surprise” that would damage the Biden campaign. Trump wanted to show that Joe Biden had been involved and benefitted from Hunter’s business; however, the history of the laptop was so bizarre and its contents so hard to verify, that Oct 2020 was too late to release it. Starting in 2021, news outlets began to authenticate some of the contents of the laptop.
None of the information on the laptop has shown that Biden was involved in Hunter’s business dealings, and during an attempt to impeach Biden, the investigation led by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer was UNABLE TO VERIFY any involvement.

During his campaign, Trump also falsely claimed that not a single U.S. soldier in Afghanistan was killed for an 18-month stretch while he was in office. There was a roughly 18-month stretch from March 2020 to late August 2021 during which no U.S. service members died in Afghanistan. Trump was in office for roughly 11 months of this time, while Biden was in office for the final 7 months.
