Fredo Lives!

Yes, he is the embodiment of Fredo in media. I cannot listen to him or take him seriously in any way. It’s all self-promotion and talking endlessly without really saying anything. Cuomo is as shallow and performative as he has always been. In reality, he is high-energy yet lower intellect, which is an exhausting combination. Truly an uninteresting figure who somehow finds his way on air, despite having no conceivable talent. Go away and stay away Chris.

Of course, he became a highly compensated media personality primarily due to his last name. I'm sure family connections are standard for many of these people. Meritocracy is so last century after all.

Dave Smith debate with Cuomo is a must watch. He beats on him like a rental car.

I watched this up to the hour and thirty mark. Cuomo is an idiot. I couldn’t take anymore of him.

Please keep in mind that Tucker is an actor playing a character, just like Colbert and Jon Stewart and your favorite professional wrestlers.

What's your point?

The point is that however much we might enjoy their programs, they exist to please us. We can have a lot of fun watching Star Trek, and learn a lot about philosophy and the nature of humanity, but we can’t look to it for facts about physics.

Same with Tucker. He can be lots of fun, and we keep in mind (as we do with Star Trek) that the writers make up whatever facts they need to serve our enjoyment.

We want to see him as a brave crusader speaking truth to power, when he is much more like a storyteller or playwright, using our expectations to craft delightful or frightening tales of mystery and intrigue.

It is a great human pleasure to enjoy fiction, and it is a common mistake to confuse it with truth.

Star Trek & Tucker Carlson? Really?

Next time you take a break from watching Star Trek, find something to do other than coming to these pages.

Tucker does not play a fake conservative like Colbert did, so I don't see the comparison. Colbert is also a below-freezing IQ libtard.

Except Tucker's show consists of conversations with guests who do the majority of the talking, while Tucker mostly just listens. That's the opposite of fiction.

Sasha, you should discontinue the disclaimers every time you alert your readers to a Tucker interview.

Just provide the link and make whatever comments you think are appropriate. The disclaimers sound like apologies. They also come off as a little bit . . . weird. "Why is she doing that"--some people will think. "She doesn't do that with anything else she forwards."

You are no longer linking to every Tucker interview. So you don't have to worry that he or his guest might (God forbid) say something that you don't agree with. Just link to the ones you approve of, and make a few comments, and those of us who find it a useful service will applaud.

When will you post his "Interview" with prime minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani?

Tucker does Iran

Last week Tucker Carlson released an interview with the prime minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. He seems to think the prime minister is a friend of the United States and that he is offering us valuable advice that has caused him to be taken down by “American media.” If only.

Tucker is unable to support his assertions with any evidence at times. He claims he knows Ukraine has sold weapons we have given to them on the black market because he has been told this by someone who has purchased them but he then goes on to claim he can’t betray the trust in this person. So it’s the same BS we get from the MSM with their endless stories sourced by someone who knows and it turns out that it was fucking made up.
