When I read the sub-title to this article in my email. -" The Democrats are in a hell of their own making", I thought it was hyperbole.

Sasha has documented a mass psychosis of hate - after watching the hate filled pure insanity of the video clips, one realizes that this is a serious problem. You can hear echoes of the Nazi filled rallies preaching hatred of the jews or the cries of "Give us Barabbas"

Sadly, it's not clear what can turn these hate filled people and groups around.

Maybe a "Gray Champion".

Yes Texyz, you are correct; only Jesus Christ is the answer. But don't forget one must be drawn to Jesus as their Christ by God the Father.

The statement that one must be drawn to Jesus as Christ by God the Father first is a central teaching in the Gospel of John, particularly in John 6, which declares, "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day". This verse emphasizes that the initiative for coming to Christ originates with God the Father, not with human effort or will. The drawing is not merely an invitation or a gentle persuasion, but a divine action that enables the individual to respond to Christ. This concept is reinforced by Jesus' repetition of the principle in John 6, stating, "Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father".

The drawing by the Father is understood as a work of grace that precedes faith and is essential for salvation. It is not a passive beckoning but an active, sovereign work of God that creates the inner disposition necessary to believe. This divine initiative is necessary because, in their natural state, people are spiritually incapable of seeking God on their own; they are described as unwilling and morally unable to come to Christ. The Father's drawing is not irresistible in the sense of forcing a person against their will, but it is a powerful, effective act that overcomes human resistance and opens the heart to receive Christ.

The process is not dependent on human wisdom, effort, or external incentives, but solely on God's sovereign grace. This truth underscores that salvation is entirely a work of God, initiated and completed by Him, and that the decision to draw someone to Christ rests solely with the Father.

Well spoken, a treatise on Reformed Theology in the tradition of Calvinism. It brings to my mind the first RC Sproul book I read, "Chosen by God." In conclusion, it will be the prayers of the saints, inspired by the Father's will, that continue to be offered for our leaders and our country.

During Trump's first administration, I watched how the Russia Hoax was strangling his presidency. I watched the high drama of Nancy Pelosi carrying the impeachment papers into the House of Representatives. I heard Trump's voice crack as he described the pain of it all affecting himself and his family during the day of prayer. Yet, in my bible study, I was the only one who prayed for him and our country after the others read off their list of the sick and hospitalized. I had heard God, the Holy Spirit, beckoning me to pray for President Trump. And that's the way it is done.

For the Biblically literate, we, (humanity), were forewarned in Biblical prophecy these current events would come to pass centuries before we began seeing them on a daily basis. For those who still believe "we can fix this" through politics, no, we can't; because it's not a temporal battle. It's an on-going spiritual war that began long before any of us existed, coming to its climax in our time - right here on planet earth. We can only choose a "side" to support and work with in this final battle. Satan is on a fast-track to the Bottomless Pit and the Beast of Revelation and the False Prophet will burn for eternity in the Lake of Fire.

But there is no "fence sitting" now or “do-overs” later. We must each actively choose the side of light and good, of YHVH/God and Jesus Christ; or we default to the other side of darkness and evil and Satan. Therefore, if you haven't actively chosen Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God...then you are automatically in default. For each of us, today, there are no other options; I have made my choice and His name is Jesus (Yeshua); I pray each of you who read this comment will make the correct choice. Eternity is a very long time to regret a wrong choice.

There is no God but YHVH - and - Yeshua is His Messiah:

“Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with that person, and they with me. To the one who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with Me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” [Revelation 3: 20-21]

FYI: There are two (2) sins Jesus Christ (Yeshua Messiah) will not forgive: (1) Denial (blasphemy) against the Holy Spirit. [Matthew 12:31] and; (2) Receiving the MARK OF THE BEAST. [Revelation 14:9]

The irony is, had they not eliminated GOD from schools, courthouses, and society in general, mocking Christianity for 60 yrs now, most of these shootings would not be happening. The more God-less they make America, the more psychotic we become as a nation.

Acceptance and obedience to God's authority makes for a very happy society. Simple American history verifies that....then, vs now.

D.C. was probably safer in the 1950's....after WWII and before the crazy 60's, 70's and later. I don't know that for a fact, but I bet it was safer in the 1950's. I also don't know if he just meant for the 3 week period he's been cracking down on crime - maybe it has been the safest (3 weeks) ever in D.C. If you want to conceptualise it as a "mental health" problem it is a personality disorder with very serious underlying structural distortions to the various components and drives of a normal personality, to the degree that the person becomes "fragmented" rather than just unbalanced like a relatively normal person with some neurotic traits. The Left will continue to double down on insanity until they reach the point where insanity costs them everything. This happened within living memory, when the Dems, frustrated by their loss to Nixon in 1968, went full-on crazy in 1972 - and lost 49 states, and lost the popular vote by an astonishing 16 points. At that point, the adults took back the steering wheel, resulting in Carter and later Clinton

In the present circumstances, I don't think there are any adults left to veer the Dems back to sanity. So the Left either bludgeons and cheats and cries its way to an extremely narrow and unstable victory that could plunge the country into something far worse, or Dem support continues to fade until the whole party goes the way of the Federalists and the Whigs.

I'd say this is a coin toss. I'm buying ammunition just in case.

I've walked away from relationships because everything had to be about Trump, even the weather.

👏👏👏 A tour de force that rocked from start to finish, Sasha! The Democratic Party is destined to lose in 2026 and 2028 without question. I have no doubt at all that J.D. Vance will be the next President of the United States. Who are the Dems gonna run against him? Cory Booker? AOC? Pete Buttigieg? Please! He’d crush any of those buffoons! The Democrats just shot themselves in the foot yet again with their totally insensitive reaction to and failure to read the room after, the horrific shooting at the Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis. Instead of consoling the victims and their families and admitting gender dysphoria and gender-affirming care were the cause of this, they mocked those who offered their thoughts and prayers and accused those who pointed out this truth of transphobia.

Jacob Frey, Tim Walz and Peggy Flanagan are all completely nuts and not fit to serve in public office. The entire DFL needs reform and to be purged of all the socialist radicals in its ranks. Hubert Humphrey, Walter Mondale and Paul Wellstone are rolling over in their graves at what the DFL has become. As to Trump Derangement Syndrome, it has absolutely driven the Democratic Party and many ordinary Americans mad. They hate him so much because of mainstream media propaganda and being whipped up into a frenzy by Democratic politicians who don’t run on a real policy platform so they need to do their whole “orange man bad!” routine and fear monger about whatever boogie man they want us to be sacred of now be it white supremacy, January 6th, Project 2025, or Elon Musk. They oppose popular things Trump is doing things that everyone likes like the DOGE, the MAHA initiative, the review of American history museums, making peace between countries, and the federal takeover of Washington D.C. among other things.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is out of control and it’s destroying the left. The more they obsess over Trump, the more they don’t focus on the issues that most Americans care about and lose elections. They won’t be winning another election for a long time to come. Hollywood is dying and is a shell of its former self. Network TV is irrelevant as evidence by the unfunny Stephen Colbert being fired and the obsolete Late Show being cancelled. The mainstream media’s audience is minuscule and their influence continues to wane. I can’t wait to see Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brien, Jon Stewart, and John Oliver go next. Colbert, Trevor Noah and James Corden have already gotten canned for their unfunny garbage shows. Late night TV is dead and can never be revived. Johnny Carson, Jack Paar and Steve Allen are all gone and can never be replaced.

Donald Trump is made out to be Hitler incarnate when he’s far from it. The Democratic Party is dead as a door nail. Even many of its supporters would admit it. The days of great Democrat politicians like Al Smith, John Nance Garner, FDR, Harry S. Truman, Henry Wallace, Cordell Hull, Alben Barkley, Adlai Stevenson, JFK, RFK, LBJ, Hubert Humphrey, George McGovern, Birch Bayh, Frank Church, Emanuel Celler, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Tom Harkin, and Bob Kerrey are over. Barbara Jordan and Shirley Chisholm have been replaced by the likes of Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar and Summer Lee. Mike Mansfield and Carl Hayden have given way to Eric Swalwell and Adam Schiff. The old Democratic Party that was reasonable and pragmatic is never returning.

Please tell me how to get the TDS victims in my life to read this. The fact is, they won't. Preaching to the choir is feel good stuff for the well. Those experienceing this psychosis will never hear what they need to hear. Trump needs only to succeed. It won't change the sick minds who wish for his, and America's failure but it will give those who are not deranged, a feeling of hope. Not the false hope of the Obama era, but a true hope for America with common sense once again.

I see Sasha's writing as more like documenting history, than preaching to us. She puts it in context. People with TDS can only be helped if they come out of it on their own. It's how I got out.

Trump simply represents the return to common sense. A belief that ....

...our borders should be secure, people who commit crimes should actually be punished, girls shouldn't be forced to dress with boys in locker rooms, our country should fully utilize our natural energy resources, DEI (or any program that forces people to choose one race or gender over another) is inherently discriminatory, school teachers should focus on teaching our kids reading-writing-and arithmetic and not focus on teaching kids to hate America, our foreign policy should always focus on whether it puts the needs and security of the American people first, etc.

There was a time when every Democrat (the JFK years) would 100% agree with every statement in the paragraph above. All of them. But now the Democrats and elites (sorry for the redundancy) have become so brainwashed with hate, they are fighting these commonsense beliefs.

I thank God every day that Trump has the confidence, the balls, and the fortitude to fight for commonsense again. Even though he knows it might kill him.

Common sense ie whatever Trump says MAGA agrees like socialism aspects like government owning parts of businesses ie Intel.

HL3, unlike Democrats, Trump supporters are not required to agree with everything their candidate does. Trump is not an advocate of laissez-faire capitalism, and many of his supporters are dubious about the government taking a stake in private companies.

Ask their congressmen they are forced to agree 100% with EVERYTHING he does currently otherwise they get primaried try again.

The only thing more humorous about you than your feeble attempts to disguise your TDS behind a thin veneer of constant equivocation is your belief that you understand anything about the modern Republican party.

"The Trump They Invented Never Existed"

2016 primary I was ABT (Anyone But Trump). The only reasons I voted for him 1. To watch Democrats head explode, 2 The idea of Hillary in the Oval office scared The Hell Out Of Me. I mean REALLY REALLY Bad Person.

Imagine my surprise on (Fall 2017) discovering Donald Trump was/is a very good CENTER/Right Republican President!

Sasha, that did it. I will find a way, somehow, to become a paid subscriber.

It doesn't matter that we don't agree on everything, I don't agree with ANYONE on EVERYTHING, even Trump. But you have shown that it still can be done, people can let different views be discussed, agree to disagree, be open to facts not aligning with their political beliefs. It's so refreshing, does my heart as well as mind good.

I hope some of your FP colleagues eventually realize that allowing a little light in will assist in growth.

Bravo.

So when “no one mourns the wicked” is trending do they not see the irony of that? The whole story of “Wicked” is how a good person can be framed as wicked by mob thinking and spin. Hello? The people with TDS are smug citizens of “Oz” and the proverbial crazy villagers with the pitchforks and torches screaming “kill the beast”! How do they not see it in themselves?
