This has come down to a battle between good and evil. From the book of Matthew:

28 And when He came to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men confronted Him as they were coming out of the tombs. They were so extremely violent that no one could pass by that way. 29 And they cried out, saying, “[a]What business do You have with us, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before [b]the time?” 30 Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding at a distance from them. 31 And the demons begged Him, saying, “If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of pigs.” 32 And He said to them, “Go!” And they came out and went into the pigs; and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and [c]drowned in the waters. 33 And the herdsmen ran away, and went to the city and reported everything, [d]including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw Him, they pleaded with Him to leave their region.

Also remember Pontius Pilate and the Romans set a prisoner free each year, So he asked the crowd who to release. The murderer Barrabas or Jesus? The crowd responded, "Give us Barabas". Same deal with Demoncats and Abrego.

These mentally ill, demon possessed/influenced people cannot be reasoned with. Only destroyed to never regain power again. If they do, the USA, and Western Civilization are done.

During the pandemic, I read books on the Cold War., the CIA What the Democrats did during the Pandemic roused my ire. It's like the evil has come to a head.

I live in the "banana republic" state of Colorado. By a margin of 62%-38%, Colorado's Amendment 79 was approved by voters in the 2024 election, which amends the state constitution to "enshrine" a constitutional right to abortion and to allow the use of public funds for abortion services. The amendment removes existing prohibitions on the use of public funds for abortion and ensures that abortion is included in health insurance coverage. Additionally, it limits the ability of state and local governments to impose restrictions on access to abortion services.

Key points regarding abortion limits and restrictions under Colorado Amendment 79 include:

1. No Gestational Limits: The amendment does not impose any gestational limits on abortion, meaning that abortion would be legal throughout pregnancy, including in the third trimester. This is in contrast to many other states that have specific restrictions on late-term abortions.

2. Parental Notification: The existing requirement for parental notification for minors seeking an abortion will be eliminated if Amendment 79 is implemented. This means that minors would not need to inform their parents or guardians before obtaining an abortion.

3. Public Funding: The prohibition on using public funds for elective abortions will be lifted, allowing state and local governments to fund abortion services. This could include funding for both in-state and out-of-state residents.

Furthermore, the Colorado legislature is now considering a bill that would implement Amendment 79's constitutional protections for abortion and also mandate coverage of the procedure for Medicaid patients and public employees. The bill, Senate Bill 183, has passed the House Health and Human Services Committee and the Senate on party-line votes. According to a state fiscal analysis, the bill would require an annual cost of nearly $5.9 million to cover abortion through Medicaid.

Illinois did this same thing about six years ago, which was one of the many reasons I left. They are definitely trying to steer poor women towards abortion. How much longer before they mandate the procedure for "certain" women?

Just one generation ago, Colorado was a purple if not red state. Then supposedly thousands of Californians moved there escaping high taxes and the high cost of living, but kept on voting blue. It was the first state to legalize recreational marijuana.

Just like in Illinois, millions of people not on the crazy Left likely flooded out of the state in response to the direction it was moving, removing any moderating force to influence the legislature.

It's a cautionary tale for other purple and red states.

What a shame. I used to think of Colorado as a state I wouldn't mind living in, but I'd never live there now, just like I'd never live in Cali, New York, or my home state of Massachusetts - which while always Democratic, looks almost conservative in retrospect.

As such I don't even think right or left is valid metric anymore. It seems the right and left on the top have merged and the right and left on the bottom have merged, but we are still arguing across the fence about right and left and using examples of extremist commoners on the other side who remained insanely loyal to the top of their "side".

Let me tell you this, former Dems like me haven't moved one iota either. I think we are all part of a sane group that refused to follow their tribe into crazy town and I'm hoping we are just the first wave.

Just curious, if you can't talk about anything with these people, are they really friends? What do you talk about or do with them?

it is essentially as if someone you love, friend or family, has joined a cult. you can talk mutual acquaintances, old times, family issues etc you just can't get anywhere near their cult beliefs.

lately my newest strategy is to remind the hysterics (whether male or female) that the media crafts clickbait to monetize their fear and outrage and that all our devices are meant to turn us into lab rats hooked on dopamine hits of hatred, anger and panic. then i say i don't really follow the news much because of this.

as they can't argue with the first part (who can?), this usually works to both defuse their anger and maybe even briefly realize that they just might be being manipulated.

i wouldnt say it breaks the psychosis (nothing can) but it calms them down enough that they can become humans again for a bit.

Omg, the dopamine addiction thing! After 3 years or so of the covid hysteria and fascist overreacted, things had started settling down, most of the bigger atrocities had been axed, and I found myself frustratedly thumbing through my newsfeeds looking for "something good"...then I realized I was also doing it. I had gotten hooked on fear dopamine rushes, maybe not so much fearporn of the nanstream media variety since it was mostly fairly level headed substacks I had been following, but yes, scouring even fairly intelligent and reliable sources for news on vax mandates etc had gotten me hooked on that dopamine rush!

I had to start reminding myself that finding nothing "good" to read was a good thing, that everything that had held my interest in recent years was terrible and terrifying news, and that maybe I need to start shutting off my tablet on a slow news day and being grateful that it's slow. Or at least switch to a fun game, anything but obsessing over finding an outrage to read about.

It’s a really good question. One that I wrestle with. We as a group have been through a lot with each other. Ww’ve been friends for decades When Obama and Biden were in office there were no problems of course. Part of me wants to scream “wake up” and break the friendship. But I won’t do that. That’s no better than the Dems.

Hi Shannon.... yes! It's crazy here in Southern California. And I teach writing, mostly to women. They're particularly left. Before I understood how mad it is out here I told three people I'd voted for Trump. I lost so many clients. Now I won't talk politics. And if someone wants to express their political views, I ask them to use them in a story. LOL. I fight for their right to say what they say, but at the same time, I'm so sick of their lack of common sense. It's hard.

I'm so curious about the thinking process of these sorts of people. Do they look around them and think their state is being governed well? Do they look at the streets of L.A. and San Francisco and think that's okay? Or do they blame Republicans for it? Do they like paying high taxes? Maybe they're in complete denial.

And they call us a cult.

Their latest fear-filled belief: Vance killed the Pope. Pope Francis, the Democrat's compassionate progressive ratification in the realm of God, was somehow struck down by MAGA Vance who visited with the Pope only hours before he died. Today they are petrified that MAGA has taken over the selection of the next Pope.

Thank you so much! This post was filled with a depth of insight into the narratives and memes that have dominated western culture for so long. Despite the precarious situation in America, I encourage every American of good will towards his fellow man to consider that in the rest of the western world (Australia, Canada, UK, Europe) the insane Marxist/Jacobin ideologues are still in control of our politicians, our universities and our MSM. Even though an increasing proportion of our populations are struggling with cognitive dissonance alerting them to the fact that something is seriously wrong, they are unable to join the dots.

Sasha's posts actually join the dots better than just about anything else I read in my sub stack posts each day. In my opinion they are more on the cutting edge of truth than just about anything else I read each day.

What makes me kind of laugh is all these "enlightened, free thinking" women who clearly don't think for themselves and deploy womanish tactics to keep others in line: emotional manipulation, throw temper tantrums, moodiness, mean girl behavior... It's irony at its height.

100 years ago, GK Chesterton wrote: "Ten thousand women marched through the streets shouting, 'We will not be dictated to,' and went off and became stenographers."

Clearly not much changes over time, LOL

"To undo the crazy, to find their way back to sanity, they would have to admit everything they thought was real wasn’t. They would have to recognize that they were caught up in a mass delusion. But we know they won’t. Cory Booker had to amplify the crazy. AOC takes a bath in it. David Hogg shouts it from the rooftops. The crazy, like the cream, will rise to the top."

So, that's the crux of things going forward, Sasha. 25 years ago, I recognized the start of the insanity. I was talking to my wife and I said, "There's going to be a civil war unless the Democrats can accept reality." She was horrified. Nobody was talking about a civil war back then. And yet, here we are. This is the moment. Basically, the crazy left is demanding that the whole of society accept their craziness. It's the "2+2=5" moment from Orwell's 1984. If society goes along with them and accepts that "2+2=5," then all is lost and we slide into totalitarianism. But if we push back and insist that "2+2=4," then we're going to have a fight. If enough of the left ends up abandoning the crazies, perhaps that's a short fight and they are just snuffed out and the major societal institutions side with sanity and being crazy becomes unfashionable. You see people like Bill Maher at that point right now, where they are recognizing that some Democrats have gone insane, and he wants no part of it. Trump is pushing hard to rid the institutions of the craziness. He's pushing it out of government forcefully, and putting pressure on non-governmental institutions like the universities via indirect pressure. If he fails, then the odds of a civil war go up considerably.

So, that's the moment we're in, right now. Is it "2+2=5," as the crazies want us to accept, or does society respond forcefully that "2+2=4" and we marginalize the crazy and deescalate?

Yes it always comes down to this: the people vote them in, and are then are given license to be their worst (authentic?) selves. And what's maddening is that there are, what, at least 7, 8 states in the US where residents legal and otherwise can live their happy happy joy joy Marxist lives without ever lifting a finger: California, Oregon, Washington, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Illinois, Vermont, Maryland..... But without the labor and funding of the 43 red states they can't pay for their utopias or practice their despotism.

Count Colorado into that group. It has gone down hill, okay, it fell off a cliff in the last couple of years. Colorado is one of the states where the Democrat Secretary of State decided not to put the Republican nominee on the ballot. It took a SCOTUS decision to **MAKE** her do it.

Great article. When we say educated women it is with tongue in cheek. These women were the first wave of those that went to college to seek their MRS degree age 60+. So, not "well" educated, but educated nonetheless--enough to be insane. And insane enough not to have received their MRS, hysteria is the only term suitable. You won't find surgeons and rocket scientists among this group...only depressed washouts who likely held government jobs.

Mass formation psychoses is a great term. I remember from the pandemic days magnified heavily by a nervous tick for health concerns. Where the medical community wishes you to be concerned so they can make money, these people take it up as a religion, a unifier. This is the group we are dealing with, still fighting long COVID, wearing masks, protecting MS13 gang members, trans men...you are out grocery shopping with them. Scary.

Women 60+ are approximately half the entire baby boom. I went to some fancy schools, and I regret to say that I agree with you about MRS degrees and cranky female public sector employees. I’ve lost a number of old “friends” to differences of so-called ideology, but really for many of these women, ideology is subsidiary to signaling as “the good woman”.
