The radical left no longer believes in persuading. Either you accept what they’re selling or they will bully/cancel/bankrupt you until you either give up, give in or disappear. If anyone thinks their governing style will be any different, you are sadly mistaken. The way to deal with them is to not buy what they are selling. Use Alinsky’s rules right back on them. They hate that. It’s why they attack Trump, because he is as good at the game as them.

We not allowed to just "accept" what they're selling. We are expected to "celebrate" it. we are not entitled to our own beliefs.

They get off on the One Mind fusion experience. I have read that this was a thing in Mussolini's Italy. It is also apparent in the synchronized goose stepping and Sieg Heil routine of the Nazis. Synchronization is beautiful in many contexts, but the love of it seems greatest in fascist systems.

I’m coming around to belief that Left/Democrats having a puppet President is now a feature for them, and not a bug. This allows the bureaucracy/technocrats deep state hegemony run the show. Having a senile POTUS is simply an even more controlled puppet. Nothing else makes sense for why Biden is running again, given his condition.

Democrat presidents are widgets. They are all the same and interchangeable. Was there a big difference between Kruschev and Breszhnev? No, just Party hacks. The ideology reigns supreme.

Matt L.'s avatar

This (interchangeable party hack head) is a mark of an Enterprise that has become too big, too bloated. It reminds me of corporations in our country that have lost sight of the culture put in place by the entrepreneur that fueled the company success in previous decades, and replaced with new leaders (McKinsey-approved and from the right school!) who only focus on ensuring a rising stock price. During Covid the similarities across public companies was who could buy-back the most shares using that easy Federal Reserve QE $$. Two recent examples of the ‘chickens coming home to roost’ come to mind: Boeing and Nike. The difference is these companies can/will fire the CEO to try and reverse course, recapture the magic. It simply doesn’t work his way in our Federal/State governments, with how big and entrenched interests have become. Too many leeches to remove.

Eventually the left pisses everybody off and they slink off for a decade or two. I am hoping they have reached that point.

Expand full comment

The fear is that the onset of automatic voter registration and 100% vote by mail across so many States will either delay that ‘slinking back’ or prevent it from ever, naturally occurring. This is what has some fearing the worst.

True. That said, eventually Woodrow Wilson and FDR managed to piss everyone off.

And inflation ate Carter alive (which is probably the best comparison for Biden).

But to deliberately change your profile on Amazon to “Dr”? Makes me wonder whether she worked for the knowledge or the ego boost.

Ph.D., in serious fields like mathematics, physics, chemistry, are often addresed as Doctor (see Oppenheimer).

I have a PhD in applied math and have never felt less educated than my doctor just because I don't touch people's hemorrhoids with my fingers.

Mrs Biden does not have a PhD, she has an Ed.D. doctor in education. It's like a doctorate in Astrology but without the need to understand planetary motions.

It is not bigotry to assert that biological men cannot become women, and vice versa.

It is not bigotry to wish to keep female spaces--restrooms, sports, etc--off limits to biological men.

It is not bigotry to oppose the medical "transitioning" of children, i.e., those under the age of 18.

But it most certainly is bigotry to ban the representation of Christian symbolism on Easter eggs.

The Democrats have become insane. But we can have a "conversation" about any of these topics. Any takers?

I don’t know where all of this is going, but without a ton of fuckery, I don’t see how Biden has a chance in November. They are driving wedge issues that the vast majority of the public don’t agree with. Find me someone who genuinely believes aborting a healthy baby at 39 weeks is healthcare am I’ll find you 100 that don’t. Most atheists, and far fewer believers of non-Christian religions think that Trans visibility day on Easter is a positive thing. I’d bet gods money that the vast majority of Trans individuals don’t support mean playing women’s sports because they claim womanhood. We have gotten too a level of ridiculous that is so far being the pale that the vast majority is on the other side of most issues. They opened the border for 10 million, but now Trump caused it because we didn’t send Ukraine another $60B. The economy is stronger than ever even though real income has declined, housing costs have doubled, and fuel and groceries are up 20+%.

"I’d bet gods money that the vast majority of Trans individuals don’t support mean playing women’s sports because they claim womanhood."

I often see comments suggesting that there is some mass of "trans" people who do not support the activists' agenda, but very few of those people have made themselves audible or visible. It doesn't matter much to me at this point, however, because our best strategy includes deconstructing the words "trans" and "gender." These are both linguistic symbols with no referent. I no longer believe that there are any such people.

I don’t think Joe Biden knows who or what Joe Biden is at this point. At one time in this way overdrawn political career, he was an opportunist and a bigot and a first class ass kisser. That’s the way mediocrity works in Washington DC. But now he’s just signing whatever bill his corrupt masters instruct him to and says whatever his speech writers give him. The fourth official action on the first day -Inauguration Day- of Biden’s presidency was to rescind the ban on transgenders in the military. This has struck me as so odd. Because there is really no money out there - in terms of support for his campaign- that could drive this issue so far to the top of his agenda. The Pritzkers are the only ones who could seem to care and back it up with money but their donations seem unequal to such a big outcome.

I have my suspicions that this was repayment of a favor and it was very personal.
