They aren't NAZIS. We aren't NAZIS. Anyone who buys into this is an idiot. Anybody who gives it a smidgen of serious discussion (hey Sasha) is an idiot - or someone who just likes to fight.

Very common with females...

Actually study what National Socialism in Germany was about. Part pagan cult, part ugly degenerate perversion, part deadly efficient organization... A huge part pure stupidity.

Hitler was an idiot. He won the biggest lottery prize ever and then ran with it. After the initial successes it all fell apart. He would have never gotten anywhere without a hard core of professionals (See Ernst Rohm)

And the dumb cocksucker killed all of them off to consolidate power - much as Stalin had.

The NAZI state died before it got going - 6/30/34. It was just a matter of time for the mistakes to accumulate and drag it down.

Oh, we all know that movements based on socialism all fall into ruin sooner than later, sport. We're just hoping to strangle this one in its crib and avoid the 7-figure body count that usually accompanies them.

Expand full comment
James David's avatar

Study history. "Seven figure body counts" are part of human nature. And none of the collectivist philosophies / movements differ significantly from the others.

Don't go along with this Nazi bullshit. When you do you play on their field. Socialists - including National Socialists -

(Nazis), progressives, fascists, communists, theists...

ALL OF THEM are collectivist and trying to distinguish them is stupid because the distinctions lack differences. All collectivism is the same: all hail to the group and the individual can go to hell.

And they are all primitive. Collectivism is the original human political organization. From the family to the tribe to Ur to Babylon to Mao to Mandami they are all throwbacks.

Modern America is the only historical or current example of a political system that values, elevates, or defends the individual at all, and MAGA is its bastion.

We are the exception. They are the rule. We are simply more important and valuable.

And if it takes a high body count to defend that, well, watering the tree of liberty is an important chore...

Jocelyn C's avatar

I have been saying something similar about these national socialists. All these countries throughout history have basically done the same thing in their ideology of political collectivism. People argue slight differences with names, but in the end they are all communists. It’s about control, huge government power, and brainwashing the citizens how to think. The democrats wrote a book on this, as they are the biggest crime family of all. Plus, they are all related through blood or marriage. The left gave their playbook to the mafia, and to Nazi Germany. However, the mafia respects women and children, whereas the democrats just sell them to cartels.

Expand full comment
James David's avatar

You get it. Take it a bit deeper.

Religion is something dictated by our genetics. Somewhere in our still un-elucidated pile of stuff are sequences that dictate we will be collective - it is a survival imperative. The family is the first collective. Then the tribe. About then the instinct kicks in because the family bonding instincts don't extend far. It becomes necessary to create a new unifier so we build images that can neither be proven or disproven. They simply hold the tribe together and form the basis for traditions and an understanding of the real world that is in fact too complex for anyone - us included - to grasp. This "narrative" forms the rock that anchors all.

As far back as you can go you find things that either suggest or outright proclaim the existence of deities, an origin history, and - Sasha is right - heroes. There are always heroes.

Once these establishments become successful and grow past the grubbing stage - once people move beyond survival - differentiation and specialization emerge, a priestly class develops, and they become rulers. They manage the narrative, speak for the deities, keep what collected knowledge the group has...

The collective is the basic form. Any atavistic shift must be a shift "back" towards the collective.

Never forget separation of church and state in unique to Modern America. And we take it further today than was intended in 1789.

But while the Age of Reason offered alternate structures for understanding it did not give us new genes. Most people are religious. And when I say most I would go so far as to say that is all women and almost all men.

A lot of people in that cohort would argue this but look closer. I am a scientist. I have lost track of how many "scientists" have seen make science into a religion. You can see it if you look carefully. Are they driven by data or belief? If you have turned your science into something you cannot drop like a hot rock when the data goes sideways, then it is a religion to you. It is no longer just a tool.

This plastic thing is everywhere. When commies call religion the opiate of the masses they mean the traditional faiths. They refuse to see their own tenets - those things they will not question - are just as unprovable and unfalsifiable as Yahweh or Allah. And heretics among the communists are treated at least as harshly as they are in an ancient religion.

And all the other flavors of collectivism follow the pattern. Fascism & National Socialism are just communistic organizations arranged around narrow groups like like nations or ethnicities that aim to include some and exclude others. On the other hand the goal of Communism - at least in theory - is to expand to a universal purview...

At this point recall the original meaning of the word "catholic:" Universal.

Progressivism is no different. Look at the damned we believe yard signs. Look at the blind faith in "science" by people who have no inkling what it is. Ask a good progressive to explain how diversity is a good. Argue that it is neither intrinsically good or bad.

Pack a lunch you are in for a fight.

Of course the American "rightwing" is as a rule deeply religious usually in a traditonal judeo-christian vein. But they mostly tend to follow a tradition - or at least give lipservice to a tradition - that faith is a private matter separate from law or commerce. You can argue they make an icon of religious stature out of things like the Bill of Rights. We hold these truths to be self evident is an expression of an idea that cannot and should not be proven or disproven. It simply is - a matter of faith.

The separation isn't a separation so much as an accommodation that promotes stability. It was a compromise that got around the many religions in the original colonies.

And while all this has a peaceful veneer remember it has been part of brutal wars. The battle hymn of the republic is an invocation simultaneously to god and slaughter. It can be argued that today's various (religious) factions bred by America are peaceful by intent it has to be seen this is untested. The reality is they don't have to be violent because a rough balance of power exists.

Don't think for a minute these factions aren't capable of invoking the collective and sending their citizens off to a glorious slaughter. There will always be the priestly who can hector the lowly - the young surplus men - into dying for the old man's cause, for god or country or Mao or Marx or Hitler... The fatherland calls. The motherland calls.

The collective requires your sacrifice because you are unimportant, puny individual. Get in line.

What's on the line ultimately are individuals and their liberty and dignity. Those things are the really self evidently rare and precious "jewels" of mankind. Imperfect though it all is, it is as good as it gets.

If you run into someone who rags on the constitution, or insults the founders, slap the shit out of them. Slap the stupid out of them. They came up with the best bad ideas anyone ever had. Lose that there may not be anything left to defend.

A long time ago on a lost blog, I wrote about the difference between Daddy Government and Mommy Government. Daddy Government goes to war, stands for freedom, defends the homeland. Mommy Government forgives transgressions, softens rules and prevents the survival of the fittest from shaping the nation. In case you haven't figured it out, Mommy Government via the Democrats has held sway for awhile now. Now that Daddy Government has gotten tired of dealing with unexplained spending and out of control children, Mommy and Daddy are fighting. That's the crux of this. Mommy Government needs Xanax and Daddy Government needs a hobby.

You can put it that way as a short and shallow explanation. Now interpret that within the 4 turnings. Weak men make hard times which make strong men which make good times which make weak men...

Now granted in the proper English "men" means humans but it is also true that men are in fact the makers and creators and women make babies. The further we get away from that the more in trouble we are.

There is a reason there are no modern matriarchies. They always fail. They are always a symptom of decline.

Smug "liberals" used to claim Europe leads the west (culturally and civilizationally)

If so we are fucked, because Europe is circling the drain. I maintain the reason is that so many men died in WWII that the next generations were entirely raised by women, resulting in psycho females and sullen, pussywhipped males. As a group they have the worst possible combination of traits, and cannot make good decisions. Look at Germany today if you need examples.

Mommy government started with the ruin of our schools. That is also where you get the ruined kids. Women run the system and they have destroyed it. My last gig before retiring was in ed - college, sciences. The students we got from our schools contained a huge cohort of walking disasters. All our best came from overseas - Asia, from India to the pacific rim. And who is developing cutting edge tech these days? They didn't go to elementary school in Cleveland...

Mommy needs to get her ass back into the home and breed for the cause. Daddy needs to grow some balls, quit whining, and work. That's better than Xanax and hobbies.

Let’s get this straight, as an ongoing student of Military History- particularly of the Second World War & the events that led up to it - the pejorative “Nazi!” Is an acronym for the German word “nationalsozialist” meaning of course “National Socialist”. National Socialism was the platform of the “nationalsozialistdeutschearbeiterpartei” or “National Socialist German Worker’s Party. Adolf Hitler did not found the party but he took it over. National Socialism & Communism have been/will always be two sides of the same coin; both are based in Marxism & differ only by degrees. Under Communism, The State owns & controls means of production & distribution. Under Fascism (National Socialism) The State nominally leaves control of means of production in private hands yet dictates the outcome. This is why Fascism is often referred to as “Corporatism “ because big corporations get in bed with the govt & do its bidding. Under neither are there any private property rights not individual rights. As Fascism founder Benito Mussolini stated, “Everything within The State, nothing outside The State, nothing against The State.” He also referred to Fascism as “the melding of corporate & political power.”

Unfortunately few seem to know this anymore; the words “Nazi!” & “Fascist!” have become merely a smear for anyone who disagrees with the leftist platform. The irony inherent is that both Communism & Fascism are found on the left, not the right.

Expand full comment
Pat Robinson's avatar

They now call capitalism fascism.

So they claim, mostly, not to support communism, but everyone, everyone not a communist is now a fascist.

Because we stand between them and power.

Expand full comment
Dutchmn007's avatar

It’s utterly ridiculous but it’s now official: EVERYONE IN THE FUTURE WILL BE “HITLER!” OR A “NAZI!” FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES!!! The whole thing anymore is just a sick joke; there’s no debate about policies or programs it’s just name calling now 24/7. Hurling epithets isn’t a platform. And to your point about “everyone not a communist is now a fascist” is precisely how the Soviets reacted with the advent of Operation Barbarossa on June 22, 1941; allied with Nazi Germany up to that point by the von Ribbentrop/Molotov Pact they were completely caught with their pants down when Germany invaded the Soviet Union. Suddenly everything & everyone not Soviet was a “fascist”. They even leveled that charge at the U.S. & Britain to a point but then toned it down because they were badly in need of the supplies being sent. After the war, they reverted to form.

And no honest discussion about the Second World War can take place until a fundamental question is answered: if it was wrong & anathema that Germany attacked Poland Sept 1, 1939 why is it swept under the rug/glossed over that the Soviet Union invaded Poland 15 days later?

Moreover the Soviet Union attacked Finland in November 1939 leading to “The Winter War” which saw a disastrous performance of The Red Army & about half a million casualties.

Where was Britain & France’s declaration of war against the Soviet Union for the egregious violations of national sovereignty & border integrity of - not only Poland & Finland - but the Baltic countries of Latvia, Lithuania, & Estonia which Stalin bullied into submission & occupied outright?

The double standards are mind-blowing. My point is here one really has to look outside the box & connect the dots to search out the actual truth.

Expand full comment
Jeff Keener's avatar

Very well stated. There is a difference between "corporatism" and "fascism". Corporatism is the union (voluntary) of private enterprise with government for monetary gain. Fascism is the conscription (non-voluntary) of private enterprise into the service of an authoritarian government, ostensibly for the purpose of national security. That is the only distinguishing characteristic that separates "fascism" from the other collectivist ideologies.
