The old saying is "be careful what you ask for."

Well, Pam Bondi is 100x worse an asshole to the democrats than Matt Gaetz could ever be,

They're so f cked.

He had one success that really belonged to his co founders of Broadcast.com. I sat a meeting with them in Austin in about 1998 where they wanted to stream our play by play radio coverage of college sports. My firm had maybe 350 radio stations nationwide at that time. We said no, despite the fact that his enterprise was funded by the same Hicks Muse entity ours was, because we didn't have rights to pass on that content beyond the markets we broadcast in. Despite that, he must have gotten some traction with the pitch. Yahoo bought Broadcast.com for I think like $350 million which was big money then. 2000 shook out all the dot com flim flam but by then Cuban et al had shoveled their cash into other ventures - too rich to fail. OK, maybe he's smarter than I give him credit for but I suspect a lot of it was just plain luck. Broadcast.com now is a dead URL belonging to Yahoo. $350 million down the drain, I guess.

...appreciate the history Cranky. Creators of products/svcs that hitched their wagon to the early innernet probably got a lot richer than they deserved to be....its just that the innernet was a quantum leap forward in creating cheap 'volume' for them....

Right place at the right time. Like, what if great inventors like Edison had the 'net to market their stuff, you know, back in the day.

The really smart guy was a Las Vegas local whose biz was, I think, early personal computer installs in the IBM XT days. He somehow figured out how to register URL domains which were, as now, first come first serve. He got Vegas.com, several others related to that, the 50 states, a few others that are obvious. He then ran them on a small time basis waiting for the phone to ring and ring it did. Vegas.com alone brought millions.

He could be leaving the country, headed for an English speaking former penal colony in the southern hemisphere......

In my humble opinion she should have been his first pick. She is outstanding in every respect. I do think President Trump however, played chess (while they played checkers) with the establishment repos and of course the dems in nominating Gaetz in the first place. He knew what they were going to say/do. He is making sure Hegseth and RFKjr as well as Gabbard are sworn in. They will be great. President Trump will make sure!

Cuban has struck out so many times it brings me to think his win with Broadcast.com was a lucky accident. Not sure he is very smart. Which of his Shark deals have ever worked out?

In fairness, most VC investors say they re happy if one out of five is a hit. For the rest, being careful about sunk costs and always having a wind down number mitigates losses. The winners clean up the messes from the bad choices.

According to reports on X, Cuban invested approximately $20 million in Shark Tank startups and now says he’s taken a net loss across all of those deals. I guess maybe he shouldn’t be criticizing an actual rocket scientist. Only time will tell but Elon Musk may go down in history as one of the greatest humanitarians ever…

Well, unlike KAMALA, Pam Bondi has actually prosecuted criminals and has more between “her ears” than just a vacuous void. Also, unlike KAMALA, (who isn’t qualified to run a bordello) Bondi has the qualities and qualifications to be AG. Finally, almost anyone would be better than the very corrupt and desiccated Merrick Garland.
