Nikki Haley is going the way of John McCain. At the moment she is useful to the Left, even celebrated by them, but, when the dust clears and she is homeless and friendless in the political arena, the Left will cry no tears for her.

I liked Vivek’s endorsement of Kari Lake. Many of these democrats are good people who are supporting evil people so what good is their goodness? People with good hearts and faulty minds are the ones who’ve paved the road to hell with the best of intentions. I live in Chicago and often see news videos about the “migrant crisis” here which worsens by the day not only here but nation-wide. Many of the white people they interview say we need to do everything we can to help these migrants. They have good hearts and the best of intentions but don’t understand that no borders means no country and no country is one of the many roads to hell.

They have “good hearts” until it impacts personally in their lives and then they sing and act out a very different tine.

Recall Martha’s Vineyard when DeSantis dropped off a few illegals? They couldn’t get ‘em outta there fast enough!

This Real Clear Investigations article below from 2020 is about the “1619 Project” and what the author Nikole Hannah-Jones told the editors of the Chicago Tribune about its purpose which is, she said, to instill guilt in white liberals so they will support reparations for blacks. White liberals are not being targeted though. White children in our public schools are. And our Woke white leftist ruling class loves this and is totally supportive of it. She was even given a Pulitzer Prize for this poison in 2020. This is not “black history” though. This is anti-white hate mongering pretending to be history. This is evil and this is what the democrats have become. And these are the same people who are working to put Trump in prison. May God curse them for being such evil pigs.

“If you read the whole project, I don’t think you can come away from it without understanding the project is an argument for reparations,” she told the Chicago Tribune in October.

“I'm not writing to convert Trump supporters. I write to try to get liberal white people to do what they say they believe in,” she said. “I'm making a moral argument. My method is guilt.”

I canceled my Tribune sub (after like 35 yrs) a few years ago, after they purged all the traditional journalists (including my Ed Pg contact, who had been promoted to Editor/Publisher). They went w the NYT subscription model; ie, spew out hateful confirmation bias and outrage porn that people gladly pay for to get their indignation/superiority fixes. Dangerous times.

I don’t know. He said last Thanksgiving he “suffered a stroke and a massive heart attack in January, requiring a quadruple bypass and a cane.” He sure is skating on thin ice now though. I mainly follow him on Real Clear Politics when they have a link. My top priority is AI which is fascinating and a real game changer for all of humanity. My other top priority is following the unraveling of our society and of our whole global civilization. Also fascinating although in a horrifyingly distressful way. AI fills me with hope. The collapse of our civilization fills me with doom and gloom. The best of times. The worst of times. That’s our situation in a nutshell.

Seva, did you see that a city council member in Naperville proposed a sign-up list for residents to house illegals in their homes? I guess the council was none too pleased, legal liability issues you know. I wonder how many Naperville residents would open their homes to illegals (none). At least one guy had the guts to call them on their hypocrisy.

I did see that. Such a horrible situation this has become and getting worse by the day. Trump says he’ll deport them when he’s president. Easier said than done. I happened to see a video recently about France trying to deport illegals which is not going well at all. They refuse to leave, fight to stay and it takes several cops to wrestle them into cuffs so they can get them on a plane and then cops have to accompany them on the way back and that assumes the country will even accept them back. Many of these people use fake names and fake countries of origin. In effect, they have no verifiable identity so no country will take them. And they have millions of illegals as we do. Hard to see how we can survive this plus this is only one of many disasters the democrats have inflicted upon us. Only AI can save our sinking ship. Hope springs eternal and in this case there really is good reason for the hope.

Seva, did you see Tucker’s interview aired today w/ Musk regarding AI? Check out link at bottom for it, posted about 3 hours ago. There is also going to be more of this interview w/ Elon released by Tucker tomorrow.

Navigate to hour 1:20 to 1:32 for the first part w/ Musk. Talks about origins of AI w/ Musk having long late night discussions w/ Google’s Larry Page and then a bit on pros/cons of creating something smarter than humans, for first time in human history. Ultimately we don’t know what will happen, and if something goes bad (like we’re all manipulated by AI words), we may 1) never know that we’ve been manipulated and 2) not able to ‘regulate’ something like AI ‘after the fact’ like we humans do with so many other areas of public health (like food&drug, seatbelts, etc)

Then 2nd part w/ Musk is hour 1:33-2:00, talking about how AI is being currently taught to lie. And how Musk created non profit, open source AI company (as counter to Goggle, closed source for-profit model) but he (Musk) took his eye off ball and that company that had intentions of growing with ‘transparency’ - and that Musk created AI house has now been changed to closed source, for profit much to Elon’s chagrin.

Overall, Musk outlook is that the majority of the world’s AI minds & $$ right now, are locked up by Google. And Larry’s ethics on use of AI are perhaps, cavalier. At one point Larry had asked Elon in one of these late night sessions “what are you worried about, are you some kind of speciesist?” To which Musk replied in defense of humanity, “‘why yes, I am a speciesist”

I thought Colbert’s joke about Trump now suddenly “only liking women in their 40’s” was a good one (Nikki getting 43% in NH). I don’t care much for Steven but that was clever. Boy do all these network shows and newspapers need the Don! Ted Cruz is such a good speaker. I’m more impressed with him on the daily. From showing up in Hong Kong to support freedom protesters there, to his attempt to get 2020 vote looked into by Congress/SCOTUS to now his call out of Mitch McConnell as the same as Chuck Schumer. He needs to keep repeating this. Down with the Uniparty. The State of Kentucky has elected one great Senator (Paul) but McConnell is an enemy of common people, and a growing blight on our Republic. I think the only thing I can give him credit for are help w/ Trump’s SCOTUS nominees.

The “Democrat” Dave Rubin is talking about is Dean Phillips, the Democratic candidate for president who was astonished by how enthused and friendly the Trump supporters were at a Trump rally he went to. Blacks in Chicago though are overwhelmingly disappointed with democrats in general and our Woke black mayor in particular whose primary concern is taking care of the newly arrived “migrants.” They are furious about this and it’s a problem worsening by the day along with our out of control crime. Just imagine what this will look like by August when their National Convention will be held here in Chicago.
