No, Matt. I'm not going to "Keep reading with [a] 7 day free trial". <"Free"..yeah right>

Sorry, Sasha, I'm truly interested in your interview but these journalists, rich people only, pay walls are ridiculous and I wished you'd have warned us. 💰💸 $$$

And who the heck are "BIPOC individuals"?? I'm not looking it up because I don't even want to know.😵‍💫 👎

Kid, I know money is short, but there are at least two journos who deserve your hard earned dime: Queen Sasha, and Matt Taibbi. Hey, crusading journos gotta eat, too!

Honor your instincts and don't look up "bipoc." You don't need the blood pressure spike.

I subscribe to 10 or so Substacks, but Matt and Sasha are my two favorites. Getting them together is more fun than a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup ("You got Chocolate in my Peanut Butter! No You got Peanut Butter in my Chocolate"!)

This bums me out too, Kid. I’ve been following Matt for years, and unfortunately I, too, am unable to subscribe. Between an unexpected cancer diagnosis the end of 2019, and the covid lockdowns (which deemed my business nonessential), I’m still recovering. I don’t begrudge journos making a living, but I’m just trying monthly to meet my ever growing expenses. Perhaps he (Matt) fears if he were to have a free substack that no one would support him? I don’t believe that to be true. Not with his likeminded followers; when I did have the money I supported plenty of people/causes, but I’m no longer in that fortunate position. So now I just find Matt on various podcast and his Racket news podcast is available on YouTube at no charge.

I gave a cheer when I started reading Matt’s post titled Hollywood’s Dumb Scare and saw that it was about you, Sasha! It’s great that Matt Taibbi recognized that your story is important and needs to be told.

And I’m also excited because it feels like the rational people are finding each other, no matter where they started from. This is the unity we’ve needed, not the fake calls to unity we’ve been hearing.

I discovered Sasha from Matt’s article and found it fascinating, including all the links. I am loving listening to Sasha’s podcasts. Megyn Kelly mentioned how enjoyable it is to listen to Sasha’s voice and how she puts words together, and I could not agree more.

Thx Sasha, do you think you can get Matt to allow the full article to be posted here at your site? I can’t read it all unless I upgrade to fully paid on his site. Perhaps he can make an exception for paid readers to yours (which I am!)

Cheers

Big sea change underway these days, like lancing a boil. Hollywood is going to have to deal with the death of woke in addition to AI, and I don’t see it surviving.

You will get to be a chronicler of the fall from inside the blast radius. Can’t imagine a more capable journalist for the job.

It’s likely Hollywood will decentralize. The technology exists for small creators to do what was once only possible in studios.

The see 👁️‍🗨️A will not allow such an effective tool as Follywood to fade. There’s too many humans trying to escape their everyday lives that they devote much of their precious time toward following people that they don’t even know.

Sasha, I have been reading your pieces since last summer and found them interesting but I didn’t know the full backstory. I have been a subscriber since then. The Racket News piece by Matt Taibi filled a lot of the gaps. I am even more happy to be a subscriber after reading his piece. What a kick in the face for you. Hang in there.

Sasha, Read this on Taibbi's site earlier. Well done and well deserved. It is nonsensical that you were treated like this. Having said that, I will bet you emerge on top of the stack while the rest of these pretenders continue to sink. Love your work and am privileged to be part of your sharing it. Thanks for what you do.

It was interesting to read the comments there, at Matt's piece, because a number of his readers (like me) are also your readers! So a lot of them were familiar, and it's funny that you share a large number of the same audience. We're all just looking for the truth, and you and Matt and a rare few others are all we have. We're grateful.

White Dudes For Harris is the cringest thing ever devised by a campaign, second only to another white Hollywood self-flageration that was "I renounce my white privilege" ad from BLM era. Don't remember all participants but Julianne Moore and Aaron Paul were in it. So mocking such cringe was on the money and I think that you wouldn't have been cancelled if they didn't know deep down that it was cringe and you were saying the quiet part loud. Glad that the tide has turned for you and the likeminds.
