When it comes to Disneyland and Hollywood, I am pro-choice. I chose to keep my money in my pocket. I must not be alone because their hateful, arrogant, woke bubble keeps getting smaller. It's their own fault and they can go to hell.
It is actually about them too. Last year, I tuned on a favorite Amazon show that was always on a woke side but in the sense that it was mostly anti-big pharma. Not that season. It was all about telling the audience how to vote in American elections. They sacrificed storytelling and characters to make it all about election propaganda. Then there was a hit piece movie timed for release close to election in hope to undermine a presidential candidate who was the titular character. And a supposedly "neutral" movie about a fictional civil war that wasn't neutral at all. And a show about a fantasy land where a character took an abortion potion cause gotta remind audience that abortion was on the ballot even though it didn't move the plot forward or do anything for characterisation.
Entertainment is saturated with that crap and it's especially baffling since majority of viewership comes from foreign countries that couldn't care less for American politics. It's brainwashing 24-7. But once you see propaganda it stops working. And the second worst thing that can happen to the propagandist is to start believing his own propganda, astroturfing, bot-ing, etc and make decisions based on what doesn't exist. Like believing that a guy who obviously isn't Hitler (maybe visit Auschwitz to learn that laughing at Rachel Zegler's PR tantrums is not comparable to Nazism?) is Hitler. That's why some never learn and keep losing.

Netflix, et al, has forced Hollywood to make content that engages large audiences. It works like an amusement park with the least popular ride getting the boot at the end of the season to be replaced with something else. And the streaming services are a testament to how bad a script can be and still get green lighted, so there's not nearly the filter there once was. I have hope for Hollywood and everywhere else a digital camera and non-linear edit workstation land. Heck, for about $15k you can buy all you need at B&H in New York for delivery in a day or two. No more Panavision rentals. Find a used Movieola sled on eBay. Gone are the days of $30,000 answer prints and distributor deals. It's a proletariat film world now.
