I think it is more about failure to recognize fallacies, in world where fallacies would not be dangerous if they did not have *superficial* plausibility. The process of indoctrinating born-yesterday babies into what is indeed a cult has been critically dependent on that.
In practical effect, unfalisifiabilty is also a fallacy, though it is not (as far as I am aware) included among "the usual suspects". We can tell how un-intellectual self-annointed "great" intellectuals have become when Kimberle Crenshaw congratulates herself that her ideology is "irrefutable", when it is really just "unfalsifiable".
I know that all of my friends with severe Trump hatred are not going to be able to look at the shambles that the Democrats presented to them. If any of them had let go of their Trump hatred for 5 minutes and followed what the Dems were doing, how completely out of it Kamala was, how they elected a president who never came out of his basement and then was clearly affected with dementia, how people like Joy Reid and MSNBC we're so filled with hatred that unless you share that hatred, you wondered how did they get on a major news program. I found that many of them bordered on literally being mentally ill. John McWhorter on the Glenn Lowry show was a prime example of an educated man who teaches young people for Heaven's Sake has let his hatred of trump and his idea that even Trump should be killed border into the mentally ill category I fear the Democrats will have learned nothing. But it is their own fault and if one of them tells me it's because Kamala was a woman or because Trump stole the election or because all Trump supporters are garbage I think I'm going to have to whack them all over the head.
It IS baffling but there is a “logic” if you read my post above… This nation was founded on being a “nation of laws and not men”. Translated: We are a nation of people who VOTE and BEHAVE rationally by following WRITTEN laws, as opposed to people who VOTE and BEHAVE emotionally… People on the Left need to be carefully and gently guided to the understanding that voting is NOT about “feelings”…
Voting is an IMPORTANT responsibility that DIRECTLY affects ALL our lives and “feelings” have NO EFFECT on anyone’s life…
