She may be an idiot but there's no reason to allow the left to support a suspected murderer while feeling bad for backing up someone who said a bad word. And is now being hunted for it. Sorry. Those things are not the same.

I’m not praising her choice of word used on a 5, some say 9 yr old, who really knows his age and definitely doubt the kid was autistic since illegals use this ‘tip’ as a way to get special benefits, but I do admire her ability to stand her ground and not be intimidated. She shouldn’t be harassed to the point of needing to move for using a term blacks use in everyday language and song. It’s not a word to use targeting a child, but sometimes actions by others will provoke someone to throw caution to the wind and throw it out there.

Exactly. If it's such a bad word then nobody should be able to use it.

and remember Kamala set up a bail fund for all the racists during St. George Floyd's summer of love with mostly peaceful protest. Give me a break, I don't give a rat's ass about anything coming out of a leftist, progressive Demoncat's mouth.

The motivation behind the obsession with Give Send Go is not clear. Is this another, now predictable, amplification of a Democrat talking point? Many President Trump supporters have only found out about this by means of Sasha's Substack. We instead are following reports of Steve Witkoff's Iran diplomacy; tariffs being negotiated; woke/trans out of the military; Ukraine mineral agreement/diplomacy to end the war; news from the DHS that the wife beater will remain in El Salvador; fighting back against judicial tyranny; and many other current events with real world implications.

The motive is completely clear to me. It's way bigger than 'oh it's just a bunch of stupid MAGA supporting racism.' That's so insulting.

Why are people donating? Not because we are racists, because 98% of us are not. It's that we will no longer accept having parts of ourselves fabricated and then shoved down our throats in service to a destructive, inauthentic reality.

"Instead of donating to that idiot woman on Give Send Go, which has now given the Left all the justification they need in their ongoing dehumanization of half the country..."

What hasn't been forgotten is Biden's proclamations that "If black Americans don't vote for Biden, they ain't black." and "Trump/R's gonna put y'all (black Americans) back in chains." And, of course, there was Biden/Dem's insistence on DEI as the defacto standard for employment for those whose only qualifications were their race, gender and/or sexual preference.

You/Dems/the usuals are really pretty desperate in the attempt to hold up an irrelevant hag as evidence of the right's profound racism.

This is not a "both sides" situation no matter how you attempt to memory hole the Dem Party's racist policies.

You’re right of course. However, they are just as certain of their position. To us: it’s just a word. To them Anthony is simply a victim of the white system.

The song by Michael Jackson, “One Bad Apple,” is a lie. Rottenness will spread, only it does so slowly. That’s why we must always be on our guard to maintain the moral high ground. We have to be very careful to not let the garbage they spew land on us. It will stink just as bad and last much longer.

*Sasha, thank you for continuing to write about truth. It’s very easy to grow weary of the vilification and just give in to retaliation. Keep reminding all of us to do what is right. Doing the right thing doesn’t always make us feel better in the moment. It’s not supposed to. It’s way bigger than that. The polarization of the left and right grows wider every day. The left has been in the weeds of crazy for a very long time. The right is moving closer to crazy as well. That does not bode well for our country: hell for Western world as a whole. The way we fight is being our best and staying that course. We cannot let ourselves become like them, for certainly the fight will be lost.

After having listened to four years of "White Supremacy! is our greatest domestic threat", I find this story a limp effort to prove that point. Interesting how there was someone there to record it in a mostly empty park from what I could tell. A victim of backlash that had no other choice but to post it to GiveSendGo. A sob story that no one has heard anything about. Nowhere on conservative media is this even a thing. Of course, haters are going to hate, we had four years of that, it's the only thing the Dems have going: racism, sexism, xenophobia, transphobia, blah, blah, blah. This is a nothing that will end up on the heap of every other nothing that's been dragged up from nowhere to have us believe it's something.

Ah, yes! The psyop theory. And I’m NOT being facetious. After what, the last 16 years of controlled information and the rise of social media, who can know what is real and true anymore? I’m not sure I agree in this situation though. I have to ask, Why start recording after the crime? If it was truly a deception intended for gain, I suspect recording the “N” word attack on the thief would have been a significant addition to the plot. But again, who really knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

It seems very Jussie Smollett to me. As these stories unfold and as the facts come out, they are clearly nothing more than orchestrated racism for a desired effect. We haven't heard much lately about how "America is systemically racist" and "white cops are killing innocent poc". The Left/Progressives/liberals are never smeared with the racist trope despite their continued efforts at hustling race at every opportunity in order to perpetuate division and hate.

I bought my ticket after your post last week and just got notice it's available for viewing. Looking forward to it. I had hoped to catch it at the Aero theater in Santa Monica but that event was sold out.

Your followers might not be aware that there is an effort underway to bring Henry Johnson to other theaters. One of these is in Los Angeles at the Grove. It requires advance purchase of contingent tickets--there will be no showing unless 94 tickets are sold. If there is no showing, the money will be refunded. Here is the link for the LA showing:

Here is the link for other geographical locations. Just put in your zip code or address in map.

Were you able to secure a showing?

Not so far, but I'm hoping the sold-out performance at the Aero will prompt further showings.

The legacy media just told me Trump’s tariffs may destroy black businesses. I didn’t know tariffs were blatantly racist. And we’ve got the free the Menendez brothers effort. Kinda like writing to OJ wanting to be his girlfriend. You know Sasha I might be off topic with this post and I don’t really care if I am. But I’m not stupid enough to not notice that the movie Baby Driver was pretty damn good and they ran Kevin Spacey out on a rail. Did he deserve it? I’m not one to judge and I don’t care. And you were on the other side too until you had enough of the real persecution going on. Then they ran you out too. And they’ve ran Hollywood out from the people who loved movies for being just a story telling device to give them an escape. Hello Rocky Balboa?

I give you credit in supplying the rental link. It’s a nice way to fight back. I’m considering it.

Love that movie! The dialogue is so -- strange in its stilted sort of way, but it's fascinating. Highly recommended.

yes it is very strange. The stilted dialogue seems intentional, adding to the strangeness. I have only found a handful of people who have ever seen it. I think the woman playing the shrink was Mamet's wife...

Always going to comment when The Edge gets mentioned. It's in my top ten movies. It isn't a movie about surviving a plane crash - so many people make that mistake, I know I did for a long time. It's a movie about the darker aspects of human nature, especially when we are put under pressure or have ulterior motives and secrets. When you mention Hopkins everyone always thinks about Silence of the Lambs as his best or most notable performance, but I don't concur. I'd even go out on a limb and say that I was deeply impressed by a very contemptuous Bob played by none other than Alec Baldwin...which apparently wasn't a character, but Baldwin just playing himself and foreshadowing his own future. I'll add: "Should we lay down and die, Bob?" and "What's the matter Bob? Can't do it sober?" and "That's the spirit that beat the Japanese!" to the list of lines that pop into my head on a regular basis. It's one of those penultimate late 1990's movies that I will never stop watching, because that was the beginning of the end of Hollywood making deep, smart yet fun movies that you could watch a hundred times and never get tired of. Damnit, now I am going to have to watch it again, Elle Macpherson is asking me to make her a sandwich.

Hollywood is dead, or at least has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. They got Fat, Lazy, hooked on (choose) Remakes, GD Super Hero movies, "Message" Films. Meanwhile there's Angel Studios, The Daily Wire, The Chosen, Mel Gibson. What is worse (for hollywood) AI is just a couple of years away. Hollywood had a good run, but "The carpet too is moving under you

Yes, and it's all over now, baby blue"

I believe most network TV scripts are now AI generated. Story lines are mundane, while actors do their best. I've been streaming "old" TV shows from the networks and am actually shocked at how good they are compared to today's offerings. I gave up movies 10 years ago. Network TV appears on its last legs.

@Sasha: it's inevitable we'll see bad actors emerging on the Right. Try to look at it from a positive angle. The fact they're emerging means free speech is coming back, and with it the inevitable but acceptable downsides. So long as we don't turn into a Jacobin movement and we push back on injustice and evil where we see it, society will eventually get back to some semblance of normal.
