The sound of freedom is one of the most popular movies on Amazon prime right now. Every time I look, it still has a five star review, which is pretty unheard of on that service.

Saw it the first week out. Was not disappointed. Great movie and well done.

We used to love watching the Oscars, even the pre-show. We haven't watched it in over 10 years. Way too woke and we detest the politics.

I used to watch to see the beautiful gowns. And then it became a contest for shock value and whore-chic (Cher, are you responsible for this?) Haven’t watched in years.

I haven’t watched for 15 years and even back then it went way too long and never watched till end. Too much to do about nothing.

Thanks so much for this. I've boycotted the oscars for years now because I don't go see any of the movies, usually. This year I went to see the Holdovers, on your recommendation, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The audience actually clapped at the end!

I don’t need rich people (I was told that rich people were republicans but it seems to me that rich people are democrats) telling me what to do.

Oh, democrats have ALL the money these days... and are telling us what to do. Everything flipped after the 2008 election.

I can’t remember the last time I watched any such shows. Maybe as a teenager, that is if they were even on way back then.

Ricky Gervais summed it up for me quite nicely a few years ago. All of the recent changes in our culture go back to the election of the Lightbringer and that is when my interest in his supporters(Hollywierd) started waning. More importantly, that is when movies started becoming unentertaining.

Oh yes, i climb on rocks. My happy place is 12,000 to above 14,000 feet above sea level. Also, I actually despise hot dogs and rarely eat them. I just enjoy the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. 🌭

And the jingle. “ I’d like to be an Oscar Meyer Weiner, that is what I truly wish to be, because if I was an Oscar Meyer Weiner, everyone would be in love with me”. 🌭

The interview of David Mamet is very good. Worth watching!

I used to love the academy awards and now I loathe them.

The interview with David Mamet was revealing. So unusual listening to a Hollywood insider talking some common sense. I don’t agree with him about everything but that’s okay. And here’s a hidden treasure he wrote and directed in the 1980’s that’s one of my all time favorites. I you decide to watch Things Change you’ll be glad you did. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096259/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk

"A win for a three-hour, R-rated movie about a scientist that made $300 mil here and nearly a billion internationally would show audiences that Hollywood still cares about them and that the Oscars are back."

I have to disagree. If they wanted to show they cared about their audience, they would nominate "Sound of Freedom". And they would refuse to nominate the woke crap. We all know they won't. Because they hate us.

No. Hollywood has become Sodom and they wish to kill our children. Or mutilate them so they can never have children. Think of it, the absolute horror of NO grandchildren ever again.

I only watch TV or movies made before 1975.

My only complaint with David Mamet was when he said critics were like brainless whores; that’s really unfair to whores, brainless or not.
