Eliminate income tax. Eliminate all 3-letter governmental agencies (severely reduce the size of government). Term limits on congress (along with the aides). Sales tax only (excluding food and clothing). I could go on and on...

Eliminate the Dept. of Defense? Who will protect us against the next foreign invader?

Or the FDA...you want rotten food in supermarkets?

Or the SEC and facilitate the next Bernie Madoff to rob you blind?

Wise up pal.

Pretty sure he was referring to the IRS, FBI, CIA, etc. the DoD can stay, but with real auditing and scrutiny. So without the FDA, supermarkets would try to sell rotten food? How long would it take before that unscrupulous market closed due to lack of business? The SEC? Are you kidding? They did nothing to prevent Madoff’s scheme!

Foreign invaders? How about our ds invaders

When was our last foreign invader? How many guns are in the hands of US citizens? Good luck invading us. You might destroy our civilization, but you won't conquer it.

Lighthizer’s book, No Trade is Free, is an excellent book that described Lighthizer’s efforts during Trump 1.0 to improve trade for the US around the world. Tariffs were but just one of the tools in the tool box.

This is fantastic, a must listen!

Wonderfully informative. Should be broadcast to the entire voting public who is being misinformed by the Democrat media cabal. Please try to get the word out and the policy results will need to manifest for proof to voters.

Thanks for posting this!

Lighthizer was the key to Trump 45's success. He and Wilbur Ross.

Remember your purchasing power as a result of deflation at the start of 2020? This is the guy that orchestrated it.

Trump knows exactly how to help us here and thanks for voting for him :-D

Great topic. There is a lot of confusion and ignorance about how tariffs work, their history and their role in negotiations. I am cautiously optimistic about Trump plan for tariffs and the positive impact on the nation and working class Americans.

America needs tariffs to reshore our factories and revive the American Dream. ~

Recently I moved here to Akron, Ohio, which is about 60-something miles from Ashtabula and 30 miles from Cleveland.

Many people don't know that Cleveland was the richest city on the planet at one time.

Hi - once again a lot of long winded answers that do not provide any form of specific and concrete examples of how such and such trade is "unfair" - Had to turn if off.

All I want is to take say 5 products and clearly point out the added costs/unfairness by China, the EU, Canada, Mexico etc.

Show me the math please on a product level

What eh? You live in Canada. It was only a few years ago when you allowed your fellow countrymen to have their bank accounts frozen by your fascist government.

You're a literal clown, but like the unfunny Crusty or Zelensky. Good Heavens, stfu and go bother somebody else.
