JD has the ‘chops’ to beat Walz 🤡😈 because he’s a writer. The definition of someone who writes down their inner thoughts to examine them.

It takes shadow-work to be a writer. The page demands brutal honesty as it holds up a mirror to your darkest self.

Walz can’t surprise JD with any demons, because he’s already made their acquaintance and he’s a good writer, and he is now their master.

Walz looks like a guy who barely has his demons under control. They seep out in his creepy smile that has parents pulling their children in closer when in Walz’ vicinity.

I know you understand this Sasha, because you too are a master at your craft, wielding the written word as a sword in defense of the truth. 💃🏻🗡️👏🏻

One itty bitty problem: The guy was a freaking TEACHER!!! Pity his students.

No kidding. If I met the guy I’d try to get my child out of his class.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking. The coach teaching history. That, back in the day, was a cliche; the coach was too dumb to be trusted with anything else -- it sorta self-taught via LOTS of movies. Now that history is no longer being taught, I'm sorta curious where they warehouse the jocks during the day.

Peterson talks about how you can’t be weak and be moral. That statement is so profound yet the Left has convinced people that looking moral is enough.

Our strength comes from conquering our demons not from pushing them down until we don’t have the strength to do anything else.

Which is the idea of the ‘quiet man’ who is hard to move, but once you get him going, he won’t stop until his world is right again.

We are at that point.

Your grandma, her wheelchair, and taking her to Ralph's. Betcha those are some of the best memories you have of her. It's so like my story, right down to the Ralph's part. Except in So Pas, and it was my grandpa. Thanks for sharing.

Sacha, people are helping on their own dime. I have a friend who is flying his small plane from Arizona to North Carolina. Once there, he'll fly several flights per day hauling in critical supplies.

On his own dime.

JD and Vivek are the best at calling out the media when posed a "questionable-premise" question. Vance is intellectually quick-footed to a degree seldom seen in Republican politicians who tend to collect in the Doddering Dunderhead end of the personality scale. There is a joie de vivre to him that I'm hoping will shine forth tonight. I do expect him to excel in comparison to his opponent.

In short, he should be himself.

I don't want to get cocky, but I will say ...

...there's NO ONE in the Trump campaign I feel more confident about on a debate stage than JD Vance.

Just let er rip big guy.

1. I would like if JD beat My Governor Timmy the tyrant Walz like a bongo drum. BUT I don't think this will move the needle much one way or the other. When was the last time people voted because of the VP (ever hear the phase "worth a bucket of warm spit"?)

2. OTOH America is learning about my Governor. He is the walking definition of A Real Piece Of Work. Back when he was running for Congress a local talk show host (Mitch Berg) put it best "The Only Thing Conservative About Tim Walz Is His Haircut."

3. Still trying to decide if I'll watch or catch the highlights the morning.

4. I paraphrase Hugh Hewitt "JD Vance should ignore the questions and making Everything About Kamala Harris.

"When was the last time people voted because of the VP"

When the guy running for president had two (potentially three) assassination attempts against him.

Who he picks for his VP is incredibly important.

What that VP thinks and professes to us is also incredibly important. Because he may end up becoming president, should the unthinkable happen to Trump.

Trump knows this. Vance knows this. Most of America understands this, now.

JD is not your average VP this time.

I agree. The country is completely polarized and the Democrats, particularly, are dug in, brain washed and brain dead. They, stupidly and cluelessly, vote for their own demise, sacrificing their children's futures in the process.

Don McLean said it best: "They would not listen; they're not listening still. Perhaps they never will."

We have always been polarized. I do wonder IF we are as polarized as we are lead to believe? What I mean is people not talking to each other because of Politics. It happens, but how we spread is it. Fear, like sex Sells.

Now I grant you, a country where Kamala Harris is President, is a VERY different county than one where Donald Trump is.

Vance will do just fine without my advice, BUT....

Maybe he should suggest that the money being spent on illegal migrants would be better spent on helping to rebuild the AMERICAN communities in the southeast devastated by Hélène, same for the money paying the salaries and pensions of the Ukrainian government employees, and yes our tax dollars are footing that bill.

Tampon Tim Walz is not a liberal. He's Woke. JD Vance has to bring that out into the light. As you said Sasha, Vance has the chops to do that, and it could be a key to the Trump-Vance ticket winning next month.

Oh how I love your writing and your stories Sasha! This one about your grandma is so so sweet. I don’t have memories like that with my grandparents but my kids do with their grandma (my mom) riding through Kmart in the shopping cart as she loved to shop as well. Afterwards they would get McDonalds and ice cream cones which was inside the store (I’d never deny them this pleasure with their grandma). My mom has been gone 3 years now and those shopping days are long since over (and Kmart is out of business) as my kids are 22 and 26 now but they will never forget those shopping trips where they could buy whatever they wanted with their grandma!

Keep on telling us your wonderful stories please 🙏 ♥️

My Mom used to buy me Icee after check out from K-mart (still think of K-mart when I see the red/blue stripe polar bear!) then if I was good and lucky, a 25 cent ‘ride’ on kiddie merry go round out front. To be a kid again in the 1970’s…

JD Vance is good with handling the media and I think will be better at handling Tampon Walz. He will stay on Walz far-left policies and won't be distracted with ridiculous personal attacks. Great article, Sasha.
