Thousands of terrorists. Maybe tens of thousands. It will be a generation to undo the damage and evil Joe Biden and his anti-American enablers have done. Many thousands of Americans will die as a price for Obama's and Biden's ego and arrogance

We are still dealing with the effects of Jimmy Carter handing Iran to the extremists, and for his insane handing of the Panama Canal back to Panama.

It will take far more than a single generation to solve the problems Biden created.

Yeah, this is what Carter's Christian values wrought--40 plus years of Islamic extremism in Iran. Plus the canal giveaway.

There’s Absolutely no way to know the number of terrorists inside our country. We know that Venezuelan gangs have been confirmed in more than 20 states - including Louisiana. The Biden administration knows that this is one of the consequences of their traitorous open border policy. Hundreds of thousands of children missing is another. They can’t/won’t put a number on the # of dead found as a result of Biden’s open border policy. Mayorkas MUST be held accountable. The election honeymoon period is clearly over.

ISIS is a CIA proxy.

Very similar to the multiple terror attacks in Russia such as the Crocus City Hall massacre, which were carried out by Ukrainian/CIA assets.

This has all the hallmarks of a long pre planned event, given the location and timing.

The chances of this coming from the ‘right’ are zero.

The chances of the deep state having some level of involvement are not zero.

Why did Sasha even suggest that?! The "right" (conservatives) are not violent. It is only the Left who uses violence to achieve its political objectives. And no, the KKK and neoNazis are not "the right". The are revolutionaries that want to upend America, which is something from the Left.

Unfortunately, because of the criminal malfeasance of particularly this president, you are probably right. But it says tragic things about the health of the country that "the commons," which has always been intrinsic to any city, has been allowed to become so dangerous.

Leadership which would do that to a country has betrayed the country. It ought to be held to account to standards of justice which are in law to deal with traitors, but of course, one shouldn't say such things unless he wishes to be labeled "dangerous."

"...so it’s possible that the explosion came from the Right as a warning to Trump and Elon. I sure hope not."

It's possible in that anything/everything is possible - whether it is likely is another matter.

I'm curious, though, as to who is this "Right" that is frequently mentioned. MAGA extremists, like myself, are likely to be so in pursuit of liberty, small(er) government. If there is one thing that ought to be clear by now is that violence - be it political or otherwise - likely comes from the left. Violence as a method of advancing a cause just doesn't occur to most of us who are of a conservative/libertarian bent - does it occur to you?

I would encourage you to consider the very real possibility that those who are engaging in the violence are plants, to make it appear as though MAGA is as ideological and fanatical as is the left, thereby discrediting the movement, such as it is.

Agree. I have actively lived with what some would consider fringe elements of the "right" and libertarian ecosystem all of my adult life. Most of us are armed and trained in how to use our weapons. None of the groups I have been involved with advocated violence except in self defense. Violence is contrary to the belief systems. The exception has been discussing whether to get involved in wars, declared or otherwise.

The terrorist is reported to be a US citizen who served in the military. The truck, on the other hand, is reported to have crossed the border 2 days ago. The rifle is reported to be an AR in 308 so an AR10 or variant. Bit unusual for this sort of thing. A word of caution though. Early reports are usually wrong. People who study these things have a 48 hour rule to let things sort out. With the FBI involved it is likely to be longer.

I blame a reluctance to stick ones neck out and identify individuals who exhibit signs of radicalism. There's always a risk of major blowback.

I am so damned sick of the "false flag" crap. It's asserted by people who are either paranoics or trolls or disingenuous seekers of credit for their supposed greater insights than the rest of us have.

The one actual false flag in history which I know of was the German radio station which Radio Berlin said those bellicose Poles attacked on September 1, 1939. Only people with subnormal intelligence believed it.

Genuine false flaggers are invariably conspiracy lunatics of the most deranged variety.

This event may or may not have been a false flag, but to dismiss them in general is to be purposely naive. Virtually every major war in the past century was catalyzed by some type of false flag.

Expand full comment
Bobby Lime's avatar

False flags have occurred as part of military operations. If you haven't read Giles Milton’s book, which I think is entitled “Churchill’s Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare,” I urge you and anyone else who is at all interested in the S.O.E. ( Special Operations Executive - don't you just become close to giddy at the English penchant for calling such deadly things by such bland names? ) to read it immediately. I don't know the level of your interest in World War II., but that is a thrilling book which, as the cliche goes, reads like fiction.

One of the most astounding, mad commando raids described in the book, and one of the most moving, is the British raid on the German held French port at St Nazaire. It was a false flag, I guess, in that the decommissioned World War I era ship the British used before the Germans recognized something was up, and opened fire, had been flying a German flag. ( There are YouTube videos about this strike, but I recommend you read the book. There you will learn about other incredible acts of commando warfare, such as the raid on the Norsk hydro, which has to be considered, as a German General called it, “the greatest feat of arms in the entire war.” )

I know that in World War II., there were German units which disguised themselves as Allied units for commando raids. It's been a while since I read about John S. Mosby’s Confederate raiders, but it's my impression that they may have disguised themselves as Union soldiers.

So, I don't deny that to win a particular battle, “false flag” operations have happened. But when people like the commenter say, “False flag,” I want to know what he means: which military force is the false flag he's invoking referring to? What would be the purpose in the New Orleans attack? What would it be a false flag to camouflage?

They never say. It always seems to be an attempt to con the rest of us with a “loftier than thou” pseudo grand pronouncement. And until somebody tells me what the supposed false flag is about, I think, “Crap. Crap, crap, crap.”

Let me guess: it was a “false flag” to conduce to our believing that Islamic terrorism is the enemy, when it's really those dastardly Israelis, is that what you think?

Then read the Talmud where it says Jesus is boiling in Hell where all Christians will join him. As a US military veteran myself, it disappoints me that those we defended have so little grasp of our own history and Christian foundation. The world is not a simple place and one can have multiple opponents working together or opposed in various ways.

The killer donated to Democrats via ActBlue. Doesn't tar all Democrats, just shows his leanings. Dems on BlueSky are cheering for the Trump Tower attack, which killed someone, and mocking the injured employees. Elizabeth Warren expressed sympathy for Mangione. Dems, including low-level office holders, cheered for Audrey Hale, school shooter. A large group of protesters who shut down business at the state capitol called her a victim.
