I saw that video of the girl talking about how she suddenly Hates her coworker just b/c he is conservative & she used to like him. But now she Despises him, just b/c he is conservative.
This is so On-Point. Democrats Hate Republicans. They avoid talking to them & disown friends and family who are conservative. Republicans do Not behave this way. We are the party of Love & Acceptance.
I'm a physician in a deep blue city, surrounded by lunatics (quite frankly) who spew their complete lunatic nonsense daily. I mean---these people are completely crazy. They are violent & want Death to Conservatives. So I do what I have to do. None of my patients or staff know I'm a Trump Voter X 3. They think I am a liberal like them. They can't know. They would probably kill me. They are extremely violent people. They act like toddlers. They scream, tear things, throw things, become Enraged. It's scary to see. When they start telling me they want to kill all Trump voters, I just calmly change the topic "so how is your asthma doing?"
They would fare very badly if they tried to organize to kill conservatives. We have at least 10x their firepower and skills. They are mostly talk, and the ones that are violent aren't good at it. We are good at it if we have to be. Those violent 2020 riots were allowed to proceed. We hoped the cops would do their jobs. We could have killed those rioters by the hundreds with a dozen trained fighters or well armed practiced citizens. They best not try what they want to try.
Deep blue areas will be vulnerable. Make sure your insurance covers this activity and watch your six. It is far better to retreat than engage if you can. There is an element that is just waiting for an opportunity (they are criminals, not political).
I was not happy that the violent 2020 riots were allowed to proceed. The police were not allowed to stop them. I have neighbors who are police officers, and they are not allowed to do their job in Blue states. They actually have laws to stop cops from responding in many cases, or even apprehending criminals.
I wonder if Trump should have sent in the National Guard in 2020. Would the public have approved of quelling the riots or would there have been a backlash? I would have liked to see it stopped but not sure how the American public would view it.
I think state governors need to approve the National Guard being allowed in to quell riots do you think Tim Walsh vice presidential candidate was going to do that in Minnesota ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
But they had the money, authority, law and judges on their side once and may again. The lone rebel is a good story line, but a poor outcome results in the real world.
When your local government lacks the will to protect you, you must leave. In the meantime, get riders on your insurance to make sure you are covered and watch your six. There is political violence, then there is criminal violence. Once the riots are licensed like they were leading up to 2020 (in blue areas), both elements will be out.
As DOGE is exposing, there are hundreds of billions of dollars of big guy cuts flowing annually from the federal budget. There is no end to what they would do to preserve it.
I live in New Jersey, in an area outside of the "blue belt" that connects New York and Philadelphia, just a little to far from NYC to be a commuter town. I get my hair cut at a place owned by three women. One of them likes to talk about politics, so I know that they are all right of center.
The last time I was there, there was a woman getting her hair done who was talking very loudly and angrily about conservatives. What struck me was her assumption that everyone agreed with her.
On the one hand, this tendency for the people on the left to assume everyone who is smart and likeable agrees with them seems trivial. On the other hand, it allows them to believe that they are in the majority even when they are not. The person who was very angry with Trump seemed to be unaware that she was outnumbered about six to one.
I see the same exact thing, it's very interesting and it also I think leads us to believe often that there are more people like that than there actually are
As you know many of us just don't speak up when the crazies start babbling.
Did anyone talk back to her? They should have. I now regret not talking back more in various workplaces and other situations years ago. I wasn't on the left, but I was much more apolitical than I am now, so maybe it didn't bother me as much or I let it go in one ear and out the other. Never again. I'm never staying quiet again. Like you said, it gives them the false sense that everyone is on the left when we all are afraid to talk back.
That time, no. I was too far across the room and would have had to have shouted. I do have sympathy that they have to run a business. If it had been a purely social situation, it might have played out differently.
They DO hate you. Wifey and friends gasp at my conservative commentary on Fakebook. I just tell them to relax, they hate us - try reaching out to those on the bubble and they will come. It works.
This is so cultish. Pavlovian response to hearing her coworker was conservative. Are they redeemable? Can they recover and begin critical thought processes? I hope so.
It ain't easy being a red fish in a blue pond. I'm finding that you "out" yourself as a hated conservative if you try to come across as neutral or apolitical. They require a full-throated endorsement of their views. They seem to be mentally conducting Salem witch-trials with everyone they encounter.
Do they actually think blue cities are well-governed?? Do they think Biden was a successful president? I mean, wtf are they basing their superiority complex on? Certainly not results. Or do they actively like bad government?
I don't think they have a rearview mirror - they cannot see the wreckage they leave in their wake. All problems can be solved with more money. But checking how their actions and spending are working is not permitted.
They keep saying this is 1930's Germany. If I really believed that, bullets would be flying. They don't really think this, they just say they do. But there are some crazy people out there who will act on it. There are some looters out there just waiting for an opportunity for "licensed mayhem". I would be careful in deep blue areas where the rioting will be tolerated. Make sure you have attachments to your insurance policies for such activity.
I'm sorry for your experience but you are definitely not alone. As rebuttal to other comments to your post, moving will just prolong what is coming. Sure, red states have relatively fewer lunatics but they're still here, psychologically coddled by the same brain virus as everyone else. The problem is, they've realized that they can FEEL a certain way without ever having to square their feelings with reality. It is all a cynical game foisted upon erstwhile hard working people just trying to survive in a reality that has been tilted against them politically, financially, and socially since WWII ended. Now it is hitting a crisis point and society is mean-reverting. Now is the time to be bold and challenge their proclaimations. They can't logically defend anything they so violently feel. They have the schism coming, you've already had yours. Don't give another inch. History has your back.
As Sasha said, "They will turn out and they will vote. MAGA better be prepared for the long haul."
This is a fact. They all vote & they are all motivated. We have to vote in huge numbers too. Husband & I voted in local elections last weekend. I wish I lived in WI but don't. We all have to make sure to vote whenever we can & encourage others to do so as well.
Indeed Democrats are in it (ie the party of dependency on government welfare and grift) because they completely depend on (net) taxpayers for education, healthcare, food stamps, shelter.
Which is why they hate Elon especially so, and want to take corruption DOGE uncovers and conveniently sweep it under the rug. They are totally self-serving, selfish and phony, to boot....
Now, far be it for me to even mention Jesus in comparison to Elon Musk. Jesus came to save us from hell. Elon came to save us from bankruptcy, fraud and criminals. Big difference.
But in both cases they tried to kill the very person who came to save them. These people are spiritually bankrupt. It is becoming not Dems vs. Repubs, it is Atheist vs believers.
Once Dems get in at certain levels they change rules and allow fraud. It happens in MN too. I hope people are waking up, but the biggest issue with people not fighting back is that they completely underestimate the lack of goodwill even ordinary Democrats have towards their neighbors…ironically. In 2008 Norm Coleman was up in the Senate election in MN going into the weekend. After the weekend where a poll worker “found” a box of ballots in the back of his car, Al Franken won by, like, 700 votes and gave Obama a filibuster proof Senate of 60. And Coleman and most Republicans just rolled over for it!
Also, I am still mad at Mike Pence for certifying the 2020 electoral votes after Wisconsin specifically said, “Do not certify our votes. There are discrepancies we need to look into.” Some of Wisconsin’s apparatus were probably not legitimately elected due to fraud, but Pence went ahead anyway…ugh!
You left out the 2008 FBI/DOJ attack on Sen. Ted Stevens. The judge who knew there were Brady/Giglio violations was none other than Emmet Sullivan who refused to drop the Gen. Flynn case after the government dropped the case.
Every party and administration is going to take some Ws and some Ls. What matters is how you read both and bounce back from Ls. For example, Winsconsin SC is an L for Rs but Winsconsin also voted for voter ID which is a W for Rs. It shows that D voters prefer voter ID, something that Ds largely underestimate. Will Ds take this as a sign that a push against voter ID and for non-citizen voting is a lost cause? Time will tell but it is something that should make them rethink some of their positions.
Likewise, in Florida, Rs kept the seats but it was closer than it should have been. So while it is a W they should look into why it wasn't a bigger one and what they should do to close the gap. Maybe it was the candidates, maybe it was the policies.
Another thing to look for is "were we expected to win there?" If Winsconsin SC was always Ds to lose and Florida seats Rs to lose than there isn't much to extrapolate from the status quo. Like I said, voter ID and closer than expected Florida race are bigger deal than wins or losses themselves.
The thing about voter ID laws in nonsense states like WI is that there will be liberals at every level who will try to defy the system. WI state legislature is very Republican so the SoS (D) is likely to defend shenanigans. It’s cheaper to buy a Supreme Court seat and SoS than 12-14 House and 5-7 Senate seats to get the same outcome.
Wisconsin has always been at risk, it had the highest concentration of Bolshevik socialists and agitators during/after WW I. They wanted to be near the power of Chicago but spared themselves the violence between Black labor brought in from the south to break strikes and the government’s failure to secure re-employment for troops returning home from war. J Edgar Hoover chronicled the social dynamics and destabilizing forces during this time. He used this knowledge to modernize the FBI.
I think there are more conservatives in Wisconsin (Dems are primarily in Milwaukee and Madison). The problem is that conservatives don’t vote! I don’t understand why not, but they don’t
I live there, and I can tell you that conservatives and swing voters vote in the fall elections but not the spring. They definitely voted last fall and put Trump over the top. But they don't come out in the spring local elections in the same numbers. They probably think they're unimportant. I wish they would not hold these elections in the spring.
Madison may be, but not the rest of the state. The rest of the state is pretty red. Look at a 2024 electoral map. It's just that Madison ruins it for the rest of the state, sticking us with this weasely governor and do-nothing Baldwin.
Take away Madison, and Wisconsin is as red as Indiana.
“This was their way of mobilizing the base by doing the only thing they’ve been doing for ten years now — selling fear.”
I don’t say this in a way other than a simple statement of observation - but I have noticed how easily people “on that side” live in fear. It’s a goo that seems to cover their entire being like Neo when he first arose from his pod and it’s fully permeating. I’ll be glad when this part of history is behind us, not for me but for the grands. If history proves itself, we will all be ok, hopefully together, for awhile.
The fear is eating them alive. I know liberal women my age who look decades older. They're also frail, most can no longer hike with me without taking breaks. The anxiety is a goo that covers their entire being.
Yes I have noticed this too. When I provide truths such as “We have gotten through worse times…” there’s a pause followed by “But…” which stands in my mind for “Being UnTeachable”
You are absolutely right. A girl can be into sports, cars, trucks, not into dresses or dolls, but she is still a girl. I'm a mother of 3 girls & they are all different personalities. My oldest likes fixing things with tools, doesn't like dresses, likes sports and Pokemon, but she is very much a girl and she is straight (she likes boys).
This sounds exactly like me! Thank goodness that my parents, like you, recognized that I was just different. I had an older brother, and played with his friends - Army guys, in the dirt; catching crawdads in the local ditch; riding skateboards that we made (from my roller skates!); riding bikes at "Cactus Hill", an old abandoned foundation in a large empty field.
Turns out, I make a pretty decent engineer. I raised 2 sons, great men. I can be self sufficient because of my parents letting me, be me. Bless you!
This cult eats its own. Just ask any blue city Tesla owner. That’s not gonna be the end of it. These Doge audits are gonna expose a level of corruption, greed, and hypocrisy of the very mouthpieces drawing the cheers now. They will eat them too. Just like the French revolutionaries, they’ll destroy themselves.
They are finding all kinds of excuses for the corruption … “but” it is to help the disadvantaged…. Many of the violent disruptors are being paid by a multi level network of NGOs fueled by Soros like oligarchs and our taxpayers money. Our Justice Department started filing lawsuits and arresting them. Lenin, Hitler and others like them, all started their revolutions with small acts of violence against scapegoats. Ours picked Musk! It is pure insanity to hate a genius, a patriot who inspired the young generation with his work ethic and wants to save our country from going bankrupt.
Matt Walsh’s testimony was great, if you are one of us that believe that objective truths exist.
The problem with Matt’s argument, to them, is that they actually don’t believe in objective truths. This idea is foundational to their post modernist worldview. Everything is socially constructed, even scientific truths.
Matt is speaking an entirely different language to them, from a different planet.
I’m so glad my daughter is graduating high school this year. As a HS athlete in CA, she’s been affected by this trans madness. I fought it hard a couple years ago at every level of govt. It was clear nobody cared. My daughter has been ambivalent about it, her compassion manipulated like so many others, and has questioned why I’ve made such a big deal about it. Finally I said to her, “you know what it’s like to have a period, and you hate it. You think that guy pretending to be a girl knows what it’s like to have a period? You do yourself and all women a disservice by not standing up for yourself.”
I just wish trans-women would suffer a tenth of the misery I experienced having periods and severe cramps throughout my youth. They’d run, screaming, back to manhood!
The more they lash out, the more they drive sane people away from them and towards us. We can continue to build bridges. Similar to Trump meeting Maher.
I have friends on both ends of the spectrum and everywhere in between. I respect all their opinions, and we are able to remain friends. Unfortunately, I've had a few "friends" who have unfriended me IRL because of my right leaning beliefs. I just assume they were never really my friends.
Allowing boys or men into changing rooms or bathrooms with girls or women is sexual assault, and sexual battery if they expose themselves to or touch the girls. The perpetrators risk violent arrest and incapacitation by men protecting those girls from male predators. This is not just a warning, it is a biological imperative that males protect females from aggressive males.
It's a consent issue. No female should have to see or be near an intact penis unless she has invited it in her space. Moreover, one liberal women can't consent for all women. Just as a father can't give his daughter in marriage without her consent, women can't consent for the all. Therefore allowing intact penises into spaces where nakedness is likely (dorm rooms, showers, spas, locker and changing rooms, prison cells, etc) is sexual misconduct at a minimum. Why is this so hard to understand? The laws are on the books. Start taking the schools and the individuals to court.
“They will turn out and they will vote. MAGA better be prepared for the long haul.” This. We breathed a sigh of relief, had some fun at the expense of the Democrats. But, just like Arnold, “That Democrat voter is out there...It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead!” We think that the Democrat party is dying or dead…hey, everyone says so. They are not. Democrat leadership may be demoralized but the Democrat voter is not. They are energized and furious. The results of the Wisconsin election is a prime example. The mid-terms will be here before we know it, and we CAN NOT lose the House or the Senate. If we do, everything that Trump 2.0 has done will be for naught. There is no more relaxing now, folks. It’s gonna be a tough, but I think productive four years (maybe 8, maybe 12), but we need to tighten up and do our part to keep these folks in office.
The dirty secret too is that MAGA is hardly a Republican phenomenon, and there are still SO many R's who hate MAGA and work against them at the local levels. The Republican party is exasperating on so many levels.
Wisconsinite here. I'm not surprised Susan Crawford won the election. Wisconsin is at the very least not a liberal state, if not a conservative one. The problem is most people are just hard to motivate to go out and vote except for the cult following liberals.
The Dems only win these elections because we let them. It's frustrating here in the birthplace on the Republican party.
At least the voter id referendum passed by a large margin. Now we need to end mail in voting.
Yeah, so that makes it pretty ironic that many thousands of the same people who voted for that also voted for her, doesn't it? They voted for a measure that she would be likely to overturn. Either they don't use logic, or they have no understanding of how a supreme court even works. They can't see past their hatred of Musk and Trump.
I don't think anyone expected it pass with 63% of the votes. The only way this happened is because roughly 1/3 of democrats (or Susan Crawford voters anyway) thought it was a good idea and voted for it.
Moderate leftists have abandoned the party leaving only the crazies remaining. The scary thing though, the ballot stuffing mechanism remains in place in many big city Dem strongholds. They will continue to rule these areas as the local populations have understandably given up on political solutions. If we see convictions of vote stuffers, perhaps this will change. Until that happens, elections will continue to be fake. Polls are fake as well. And legacy media, of course, bears an enormous amount of blame for what has happened.
Money for media whores, bribes, hiring agitators, protestors etc. is drying up, but there are likely several avenues for paying them, drug gangs for example, have very deep pockets and will do literally anything to maintain power. Terrorism, kidnapping, etc. are things they have been doing in Mexico for decades now. They will not hesitate to do the same in the US. They would be my biggest concern if I were in the Trump admin.
Nothing will improve until people understand what has happened and find out who caused it. Wealth confiscation and long prison sentences need to follow. Without real justice, there is no chance for the US to remain intact which is likely a goal for enemies of America.
I lived in CA for about 8 years, and so glad I found my way out. However, the lefty-lunatics there are a contagion and are not satisfied to keep their disease confined to their state. Look at what they've done to Colorado, which used to be such a great place.
As for their hate: Having hate consume them at the level that it is, will take years off the end of their miserable lives. Plus--they are not breeding--so there is at least that...
They grow more desperate as their cradle to grave dependence on government for shelter, food, healthcare is threatened. It’s going to be a long haul as Sasha noted.
Democrats said it all during Trump's State of the Union speech, when they sulked and stared at their shoes while the President of the United States made a dream come true for a 13 year old cancer survivor.
How many Senate speeches will it take to erase that?
They also refused to stand when the President announced that a park outside Houston would be renamed in honor of a young woman murdered by an illegal immigrant. Her family was in attendance.
But ruin the global warming battle! 🤔Remember when mostly Democrats bought electric cars to save the planet from what Obama said would be the rising tides and the devastation that was a mere 10 years away? Yeah, well, now they burn Teslas to save Democracy.🤦🏻♂️💁🏽
Setting them on fire is the worst possible thing they could do to the environment, so no principles there. I only hope they are breathing the toxins they are burning.
I dont agree with criminal activity but at the same token I hate Elon Musk with a passion now. He is a fake green energy advocator. His hype is often overinflated trash look at his Mars ideas. He lied about his gamer tag records and he actively calls his very customers (liberals) traitors.
Well, we're all hating with a passion these days, aren't we? I do not follow gov't employees who are laid off acting as though RIFs are a federal crime, and attempting to prosecute them as such (I just got laid off for maybe the 3rd time in my life, and such is life). I keep a cynical view of what corporate life is all about and I don't have a meltdown when those within act like corporate overloards. But I don't resort to wasting emotional energy on hating the corporation or its executives. You can buy a different EV if you think he's fake or disingenuous. All this passionate hatred is absolutely foreign to me. I can't understand how people became so unhinged.
oh, but I bet 2 years ago you LOVED Elon for his vision, his drive, his promise to the world!!
What changed? you, you changed, because Elon saw what a farce Washington DC was.
Why is he all of a sudden 'fake green energy'? Because he turned down the democrat bs and realized what idiocy it is? Kind of like burning electric cars...
Didnt like it either I found his Mars mission was overhyped horseshit, I suspected he was never a gamer legend, Tesla designed was still unappealing I agreed with green energy, what changed was his stance on liberals and calling them traitors that turned me off the rest of the way.
I think Elon is weird and a little bit un hinged but to deny the fact that he is highly intelligent and talented it's just silly so he didn't have anything to do with Tesla or SpaceX or any of his successes right? somebody else did it for him.... give me a break that's just stupid and petty and this idea that the world's richest man is is trying to now steal from the American people... to what boost his billions. Come on it doesn't even make sense. Elon is doing what he does best, cut the crap and cut the cost and that is what has allowed him to make money and to do it with really risky ventures.
His robots will help mankind, just as Starlink and his rocket science has already. He is tunneling under the earth and making neuroscience available for medical applications. The man is a genius, but somehow he’s not doing enough for the world as far as you are concerned. You need to get a life.
I saw that video of the girl talking about how she suddenly Hates her coworker just b/c he is conservative & she used to like him. But now she Despises him, just b/c he is conservative.

Reminiscent of Steve Martin's character in The Jerk, observing the crazed assassin: "He hates these cans!"

THAT....is hilarious Skenny, and so true. LOLOLOL...
Fantastic reference, and one that I also use from time to time.
I thought that same exact thing.
Yikes Sally! Maybe time to move to a red state or at least a red county in order to save your sanity?
Correct. Deep blue cities must be abandoned by good people and good cops. They will then all kill each other.
When your local government lacks the will to protect you, you must leave. In the meantime, get riders on your insurance to make sure you are covered and watch your six. There is political violence, then there is criminal violence. Once the riots are licensed like they were leading up to 2020 (in blue areas), both elements will be out.
I can relate. I am in the arts in a deep blue (read:Marxist) city. I fully believe what has happened to these people is a CIA OP.
As DOGE is exposing, there are hundreds of billions of dollars of big guy cuts flowing annually from the federal budget. There is no end to what they would do to preserve it.
Wow! They have lost their marbles and are "mentally challenged".

Reopen the insane asylums immediately.
Make Asylums Great Again!

You are right. Here is a good piece to illustrate that:
https://open.substack.com/pub/skeshel/p/april-fools-are-forcing-short-term?r=8r0cp&utm_medium=ios
I suspect the voter rolls are packed with fake voters there.
We need voter ID, voter rolls cleaned up and not have mail in voting ( with some exceptions!)
And "going the way of CA" they will, because George S0r0s just bought them.
Did they not approve voter ID?
Yes. Because of how hard it will be to change that, even now.
They did!!😍
(I did not realize that when I went to bed sad, lol)
That won't happen. The media has been pumping this as a big deal. It's not.
WI has always been a commie shithole. It is Chicago’s barnyard of iniquity. Sometimes, it just gets enough news coverage to outrage you.
But it’s not all negative! I do like the grain fed halter tops at the softball tournaments. :)
"Mom"??
This sounds exactly like me! Thank goodness that my parents, like you, recognized that I was just different. I had an older brother, and played with his friends - Army guys, in the dirt; catching crawdads in the local ditch; riding skateboards that we made (from my roller skates!); riding bikes at "Cactus Hill", an old abandoned foundation in a large empty field.
Turns out, I make a pretty decent engineer. I raised 2 sons, great men. I can be self sufficient because of my parents letting me, be me. Bless you!
Me, too! I got to grow up to be ME because I had a mom who told me I could.
Bless all moms who stand behind - and for - their (climbing trees, playing war, eating mud) XX daughters!
"Just like the French revolutionaries, they’ll destroy themselves."
The problem is that they really need to do this BEFORE the 2026 mid-terms. Plus the voter ID requirements need to be locked in by then.
It looks like Europe, Canada, Australia are all going in the wrong direction. America-wan-Kenobi, you are our only hope!
This says it well. We will see... Personally, I never thought the EU would last more than a few decades anyway...

Made her think at least.
Did Trump go on Maher’s show?
No, Bill had dinner with Trump at the White House with their mutual friend Kid Rock.
Maybe we should all have dinner parties to which we invite one left-leaning friend of a friend.
Why do you think voter ID passed but the Dem judge was elected? Was this expected?
I believe there's already a challenge to voter ID waiting for Crawford in court, so expect this to be overturned as unconstitutional.
Wasn't it an amendment?
I don't think anyone expected it pass with 63% of the votes. The only way this happened is because roughly 1/3 of democrats (or Susan Crawford voters anyway) thought it was a good idea and voted for it.
Not going to happen
"We should be very afraid. And awake."
Got to avoid fear ourselves, but definitely take them seriously.
They seem super inarticulate when questioned in public, that seems the best approach.
Not standing for the mothers who lost children to illegal aliens and the wife who lost her husband a police officer was even worse.
Global Warming was always a scam, it seems.
When you have the Obamas buying beachfront property, that should be a clue...
They want EV cars just not the horseshit Teslas.
Setting them on fire is the worst possible thing they could do to the environment, so no principles there. I only hope they are breathing the toxins they are burning.
Lay offs
RIFs?
Reduction In Force
oh, but I bet 2 years ago you LOVED Elon for his vision, his drive, his promise to the world!!
