You know, I once wrote a post about the Bachelorette, because I once got sucked into watching the one with Deanna and Jesse. So that one post draws poor seekers here looking for Bachelorette news, so then they find these pointless, random musings by me — interesting only to me — and maybe a few friends. I don’t watch the Bachelorette, nor do I watch The Bachelor. I stopped watching the shows when I realized how utterly fake they were — duh — done to boost ratings and are, in no way, to be believed. They are stocked with wanna-be fake celebrities. And I have just opted out of the whole thing.

Anyway, this is for Bachelorette seekers:

Did The Bachelorette ‘s Jillian Harris take the advice of TVGuide.com¬†users in Monday night’s season finale?

Forty-one percent of more than 4,100 voters in an online poll wanted Reid Rosenthal, who Jillian rejected, to return to the show and win her heart. Readers preferred him to the two finalists: Ed Swiderski, the businessman from Chicago who exited early on in The Bachelorette to keep his job, and Kiptyn Locke, the cute Californian.

So, with a drum roll, and major spoiler warning, her decision: Jillian chose Ed, rejecting fans’ wise counsel.
